We are new here and we LOVE HIM.... AND all his adventures. We are in Oregon and are talking about a trip up north soon before I can't go( health issues)....watching Dustin makes so excited to our butts out there!❤
I knew the man who owned and lived in the now abandoned property featured here. We lived a little further east from there. He was eccentric, but also very kind. He was a true mountain man. I used to see him around Williams Lake now and again, and he always had a big smile and some kind words for me.😅. In my mid teens he gave me a puppy from a litter his dog had. It's a little tough seeing his property now, absent of the geese and such he kept. It was a very lively place every time the school bus stopped there or when we'd drive by.
I for one would not want to see you partner with the government. Your free spirit would lose its edge working with the government and that would be a shame.

Love this channel. Dustin is documenting history. We probably don't appreciate enough what's being captured for future generations to learn from. This transcends "entertainment".
Woke up feeling like crap, until I remembered that today is DA day. Thanks for the cheer and positive vibes Dustin. I hope Emmi shared her wine with you!
Ya can't help but love Dustin's videos 😅. He's either talking to a local or videoing something that takes a very steady hand or running from a dead bear or is being very culturally minded and respectful of the First Nation's right to privacy. I'd love to go on just one of his little trips to video something he's heard about locally, well it would definitely be an adventure for sure. Very well done again Dustin.
My family is from the Pyrenees. I always love coming across ruins when visiting the remaining family there. Your channel does so much to remind me of another time, another life, a world of beauty. Thank you for your channel.
Another Beaut - love the 'subtle' shots - snake on the road, drone shot of train with your rig in the background. Majestic scenery is easy, shot composition of minutiae takes forethought. Nicely done.
Another great one Dustin. I quit getting notifications of new videos and got a few behind. I enjoyed catching up and manually refreshed the bell again. Never wanna miss one!!! Thanks bud!!!
Hole in the wall! I spent many days fishing with my father in the now-closed campground on the other side of the river. At 13 years old, a friend and I, were dropped out there by our mothers. He had moved to Terrace that year and I was in Rupert. We had a complete weekend of freedom and camped on the Skeena side of the highway. Who would let their kids do that today? Yes, we got up to shenanigans. We were 13 years old after all. That story has to be shared in the company of others as it requires some acting. LOL. The memories are still so vivid in my mind. Thanks for bringing us along, as always, and welcome to my home. Looking forward to more videos as you make your way. Cheers!
Emi seems so delightful. Although I am aware of her from past videos I dont recall any background info in detail about her. Was there a video ? If not would love to hear more. Seems so relaxed and easy going of a travel partner
Absolutely love when you share the history of a location, double when you give us an interview with a local. As far as I'm concerned, they're the best!
I had to work on Saturday so I’m just getting to the video here Sunday morning. Coffee in hand. Time to enjoy a Destination Adventure production! That gentleman has incredible foresight. Buying that 50 acre property to preserve his view to prevent encroachment from “urban creep”. Very smart.
Dustin, hi from Calgary another winner all round. Its a very special talent to be able to show us what you do, talk with who you do all while retaining the privacy of others and openly ask other adventurers to respect private property. Your body of work is shows why traditional cable tv crap is quickly becoming a dinosaur. Thanks and see you next week.
My daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter are homesteaders up there in that area. They'll never leave back to the mainland (or Victoria where they are from) ever again.
What a great documentary. I was feeling very depressed until I watched this. It not only made me laugh but is full of beautiful scenery. I especially liked the ancient petroglyphs! Thanks!
Every Saturday morning, I look forward to enjoying your video with my morning coffee Dustin. Thank you for yet again another enjoyable video. Safe travels to both of you.
Glad to see you avoiding the fires . PR western route is Amazing always Duster . Thanks for sharing the Trapper and we looked for that house . Never found it for sure but it looked like a place we passed . Stay Safe U2 .
Absolutely beautiful footage. When you and M stopped for lunch and had the drone filming, the small water fall you filmed up to the top . It appeared the water had to run uphill in a couple of spots. I had to go back and watch it several times and it was messing with brain. Oh and these are not silly videos ! I believe they will be around long after you are gone. They are some of the best footage I have ever seen of the areas you venture out to. I look forward to viewing them and get excited as if I am going to the movies.
You are not only gifted but blessed in your travels. I'm grinning from ear to ear following along the trails, some new, some old. Eleven p.m. and off we go snuggled up in this land locked bedroom in Eastern Alberta awaiting whats around the next curve in the roadway. Thanks again Dustin. Cheers.
Good morning guys! Thanks again for another great kick start to a Saturday morning, fantastic scenery and we are looking forward to next Saturdays Destination Adventure, stay safe 👍🇨🇦
"Just take life easy"! Loved this video so much! I love it when you interview locals. So much more history than what you already provide. "If he wasn't slipping in my shit!"
I'd like to buy that chap a beer and let him tell his stories - so fascinating. I said this before, and I'll say it again: Dustin, you have a way with people... they like to sit down with you and tell you their stories.
Another masterclass in video production. The scenery, music and story telling are all incredible but that drone footage.... The drone shots in this episode are some of your best and left me awed and speechless. Thanks again Dustin for sharing your art with us.
Thank you for preserving the stories of the people that lived the history of our beautiful province. The art of your videography is such a joy. I look forward to each episode. You capture my sense of adventure and fascinate me with the places you share with us.

Another Awesome trip ! Great stores & beautiful views :) I traveled all around there then north to the Yukon back in 2005 it was an awesome trip that i want to do again soon :) Loved Rupert but loved the Cassiar highway so much more,
You have mastered starting videos off with an interview! Then smooth transition into a beautiful adventure! It seems the more you head north the more amazing the landscape is. I'm really enjoying these. I can tell you both are having a blast. 😊
Pretty jealous vlogger here … Spent so much time growing up in the Prince Rupert, travelling all these routes, you get my memories flowing. Thanks Dustin!
So enjoying revisiting many places we haven't been in years. Kathy and I used to canoe and camp up the Exchamsiks a lot when we were first married. I cut a portage on the other side of the river to get us past the big creek that comes in at the corner before the rapids. Then we would cross back and carry the canoe around the rapids. It's really spectacular above the rapids and full of wildlife, including moose, mountain caribou and grizzlies.
Dustin, the quality of your videos is top-notch, and truly remarkable. As a disabled retiree living in the US (NE) I appreciate the ability to travel with you via video. I attended fish and game banquets in Horsefly late 60s to 1975 when I moved to the Yukon. I've hunted the Horsefly area during those years. Many fond memories of Horsefly. Cheers
This country is so beautiful, I was blessed to travel through northern BC and some of the roads and mountains you pass by are familiar to me. I recommend a trip up Hwy 37 to Iskut, a stay at the Red Goat Lodge will give you plenty of stories and maybe see a hummingbird. The glacier lakes in the area are so clear and deep and you can see the fish swimming on the bottom too far down to reach. There are a few wolves in the area so be careful and the food is so good. The people are strange but that is where you hear the best stories. Love this channel few get to see how green the land is and wonder why there are so few people there but I will advise you to bring your own drinking water just in case.
I and my Family went to my Father’s Funeral in Horsefly around 15 years ago. Beautiful BEAUTIFUL country. Me being the idiot drove from Vancouver in a lowered Mercedes during winter. Miss you Dad.

Great opening interview, Dustin. What a fantastic character. The still water gods were shining down on you this episode. Man, you got some beautiful flat water shots in there. I was thinking, as you pass through these communities, you could work on a local improvement project. For Morristown, now Witset, you could work on a salmon fitness program, that would help them with the rapids. Or maybe do it down river, so the fish are prepared. There would probably be a whole bunch of government grant money available to start a school for the fish…
Another amazing video. When I hear a video start out with commentary, I stop what I’m doing so I can listen to the guy talk. I love the interviews and hearing their stories. Keep it up Dustin!
I have followed your channel for some time, and I always find myself with a smile on my face so thanks for that. You have elevated your editing game to the next level, really.

I got to drive the Alaskan Highway in 1977 when it was still gravel. And since I had driven up, down and up, in 1994 I drove back down the Cassiar Highway in 1994 when it was gravel. Between my 1977 and 1994 and then driving the interior highways of Alaska in 2014. The changes were amazing. The amount of development and the closing of the old roadhouses really changed the character of the state.
Dear Justin, Sincerely I tell you that I really enjoy having my b-fast on Saturday mornings and watching 'your' adventures. There isn't much in this world that makes me wish I was young again, but your videos do just that. I can't help but well up with emotion as I eagerly watch what you have to share with all of us. I'm so happy for you to be exploring the great wild outdoors while it still exists in some fashion and semblance of its former self. How wonderful it is that this year you have a beautiful partner to share your travels with. I understand how that multiplies the joy one experiences while seeking adventure. I appreciate the pace you keep in your travels. So many miss soooo much being in a rush to get somewhere. We both know its not about the destination, its about the journey. Love and strength to you both, 'a' simple horseman
I'm excited to see what you'll be up to next in this beautiful part of the world. Spotted that unmistakable rig in Rupert yesterday. Good to see you supporting local businesses on the way to your next adventure!
Don’t “like” it, I love it. Reminds me of living in Butte, getting up early Sunday morning, the family piling into the car and driving and more driving just trying to see what we could find and getting back home at dusk. Such a beautiful country, incredible areas. I miss our family drives and all there was to see.

Thank you😊
It’s really good to hear from people like Stewart… May he be one of the funniest men in Canada and makes me laugh… But it was really nice to hear what he had to say. As always Dustin thank you so much for taking me with… Emmy looks like she’s having a good time so far good start. I’ll be looking for you to next Saturday in the meantime have a good time…… Stay safe❤
Pretty sure we passed you yesterday, May 19. We were between Hazelton and Terrace (morning), on Hwy 16 west. We were headed west toward Terrace and you east towards Hazelton. Was pretty cool to see you in the wild. Stay safe. Keep posting.

Keep them coming so i can ride along and enjoy the beautiful views the drone shots are great a whole new look at things big beautiful county we live in stay safe & happy travels.
the old guy's narration was great and your photography even better. Gramma Candy

Dear Justin,
Sincerely I tell you that I really enjoy having my b-fast on Saturday mornings and watching 'your' adventures.
Love and strength to you both,
'a' simple horseman
Thank you so much for all of the kind words.
Another great day with Destination Adventure.
Thanks for a beautiful morning travel with you and your travel companion.
I'm excited to see what you'll be up to next in this beautiful part of the world. Spotted that unmistakable rig in Rupert yesterday. Good to see you supporting local businesses on the way to your next adventure!
I look forward to your episodes. Thank you for sharing Dustin!
The wine bottle in the chair, heck ya .
Love your channel
Don’t “like” it, I love it. Reminds me of living in Butte, getting up early Sunday morning, the family piling into the car and driving and more driving just trying to see what we could find and getting back home at dusk. Such a beautiful country, incredible areas. I miss our family drives and all there was to see.
Part of me is waiting for the Emi-outro for the spin on things.
Loved this episode, glad you two are finally headed north and enjoying life!
なんて素晴らしいビデオなんだ!土曜日がDestination Aventureで始まるのはいつもとても嬉しい。ありがとうございました。
Another great half hour on a Sunday morning for me ! Part of the routine now. Keep em coming 👍
Exchamsiks is a fav boating spot of ours! We've had many fires along the many banks on the river. Thanks for sharing once again! Looking forward to your adventures north this summer :)
Love seeing Emmy here great thing Dustin has her to enjoy these adventures
I really don't think I have commented enough on your videos! They are top notch! Thank you so much for showing me places I will likely never see! I cannot imagine how much time you put into editing! I also love the history you supply us with!
