    A nearly free source of very powerful electromagnets are the cores from alternators or modified microwave oven transformers. A couple primary windings stacked on a microwave oven core in parallel and driven with a high voltage capacitor will charge most magnets, even the neodymium type. ❤

    If you had a gauss meter, you could determine if you're making any progress with additional charges.

    The higher the voltage, the higher the current will be and the more magnetic field, maybe try two batteries, but be warned too much voltage / current and things will start to get hot...

    Can you recharge neodymium magnets that have been heated and are no longer magnetic

      Yes, but you will need a high voltage capacitor and generally an air core coil as iron will saturate at the fields required
