People may say that starting YT channel is saturated because they don't want you to take a piece of cake, well it is not and not even close. I just started three years ago and already crossed 85k\month with two major channels. However, lots of info is missing. I noticed everyone keeps the secrets for themselves, I understood that after reading an eBook. No one is talking on how to outrank competitors videos properly (Which is one of the most important thing), how to gain traffic outside YT, how to do proper off site SEO to gain additional traffic etc...

The struggle to start is so Real. I have locked in my name across all platforms, paid for a domain, got equipment, wrote topics/content, applied makeup in efforts of preparing to create my 1st video . . . . and will not stop going down the "research" rabbit hole!?!? The thought of not being able to actually convey or connect causes me to hesitate each day and I am so tired (of myself) for this. It seems most difficult considering I am not truly on any social media platforms (as far as posting) so I'm drowning in info and I'm considering hiring someone to help me at this point because I truly am a fast learner, there's just so many tips and tricks to be mindful of. Erin's videos are extremely easy to follow and has helped me so much.

Tip that resonates the most: upload as frequent as you can upload quality content, practice speaking / articulating my thoughts, and what you said about the thumbnails & titles😂 my thumbnails definitely look like every other vlog girls’ thumbnail.. I need to switch it up and make them more appealing … Soooo much great info in this vid THANK YOU Erin 💕

And 2 days is practice what you are teaching meaning playing with the editing and sitting in front of the camera making training videos and reviewing my mistakes. Useing the equipment I have until the coins start coming in from this new business.

This was extremely insightful. The major key that stood out to me and is something I will be working on is Story Telling. Not only that but being able to outline my message and break it down so it’s easily digestible. I’ve been putting starting a Channel of a while because I wasn’t confident in the things I would be share BUT NOW I’m Ready to SHARE MY STORY. Thank you for all the videos and insight. I know the first hour has passed.. But to answer your question, to start my RUclips channel the steps I need to complete are:
    -adding a description box
-get more comfortable speaking on camera (I feel that will come easy, if you’re speaking about something from the heart)
-making my content precise (not too much rambling, but also making sure it flows)

Practice resonated with me, I used to beat myself up for not being able to record a video in one take, which produced a cycle of me recording videos but not editing and then of course not posting…i wanted to start last year, but i had trouble with editing so i lowkey threw in the towel…but as someone that went to school for film and acting, (so I’d assume I’d be able to easily do these things) I’m humbled to be reminded, practice! Content creation is whole other gal, I have to put in the hours to study her… so the practice def! oh and I’m STARTING! Thanks Erin! Appreciate you and your wisdom.
