I'm still fighting the good fight with triple negative breast cancer at age 42. I was in the hospital all weekend because my chemo left me with dangerously low blood cells. I'm so grateful to have made it out so I can be home with my family.

What a beautiful part of our country you live in! So much green! I’m a California girl and summer equals brown, not green. Also, I’ve never heard of someone putting mayo with bananas on a sandwich, fascinating! We’ll do peanut butter and banana, or peanut butter and brown sugar. But I am intrigued! :)
I love all the green here in summer….i don’t love all the humid heat but I am thankful to have a cool place to come into for sure! Let me know if you try the banana and mayo. That’s funny that I just assumed everyone does that 😂
In my experience, spider mites are magnetically drawn to ivy plants. They can usually be found on the underside of the leaves and look like tiny salt and pepper. The best way to get rid of them without poison that I have found is to mix up a mild soapy water and rinse the leaves thoroughly. Turn the plant on its side (so the soil doesn’t get over watered) and rinse it thoroughly.
Those are pineapple choke cherries I think I had one of those 2 years ago. I can grow anything in the garden give me a house plant it will die within a day or two. Tomatoes I grow 150 pounds a year to can for our sauce for the year. I grow everything but I have been picking blueberries I have picked 3 gallons of blueberries and 4 gallons on blackberries and I picked our first cucumber and lots of cherry tomatoes. @@homemadesimplewithlori yes it is alot of tomatoes. I freeze my tomatoes during summer and then in September I start canning meat sauce in batches and then I can pints of tomato sauce. I usually can40 quarts of meat sauce and 20 pints of tomato sauce to use in soups I just can until I clear the freezers of all thw tomatoes I also sneak other veggies into the sauce from the garden, peppers, onions, zuchinni, squash, carrots I throw it all in when its blended you can't tell its in there but i know its packed full of veggies this year I added roma tomatoes into my garden and they are producing tons of tomatoes. My cholesterol is up a little. And my kidneys are declining. That one was a surprise. They told me to increase my water intake. Lovely. Lol I guess they're not too worried about it. I'm trying not to be. Im also trying to get more protein in my diet. i also need something to build up my muscle health. I'm definitely not educated with that. I want to thank you for your prayers.
