My biggest issue is that fans will say the current product has no stars and that the past was better.
People say that guys like Jey, Cody, Knight, Sami, Owens, or Dominic aren’t stars and that we used to have larger than life legends.
They forget that there was a time when the fans said Cena can’t wrestle or cut a promo. They said Edge was small. They said Randy Orton was slow and boring. Yet today, all 3 of them are treated as wrestling royalty.
We have never fully appreciated the stars we have when they’re in the midst of their run, we give them their flowers when they’re halfway out the door. We’re seeing it happen right now with The Miz and Jinder Mahal. Just now fans are getting on board with their respect after over a decade of bashing. We even see it with the different Era’s. So many people said that WWE was trash in the mid 2000s and wanted the attitude era back, and in the 2020’s there’s all this love for the ruthless aggression era when at the time people said it was just a weaker attitude era without the star power (Austin, rock, etc)
Mark my words, in 15 years, we will be treating guys like Cody, Owens, Sami, or the Uso’s the same way we treat Cena, Edge, or Orton today. These guys in the main event in 2024 will be around in 2034 working with the next generation, getting their flowers far too late.

Nah but those guys still had star power also remember Cody is in the ruthless era not whatever era this is. I think wwe has produced its last superstar I don’t actually know if Roman makes the cut honestly I don’t think he will. But it’s what happens WWE is def way more of a niche then a mainstream product nowadays and that’s ok these people are stars to the people that watch em and wwe can only do so much with the talent who want to be wrestlers nowadays.

This is so real. I grew up with Cena as the top babyface. I always loved him, but I remember the fandom being super divided on him, now he's universally regarded as one of the GOATs. I think some people just like to be contrarian. It happens with music too. People will talk about how "music was better 20 years ago" but then 20 years later, people will say the same thing. Some people just don't like change. And I agree, Cody, Owens, Sami, Rollins, etc. will definitely be looked at as some of the GOATs from the current era in the future.

-Here it comes the returning world champion
    -Oh it's Jinder Mahal
-Could you imagine if this is just a swerve and the Rock comes back, then beats up Jinder and then challenges Roman Reigns?

Disagree with you on the Samantha take, she crafted and catered to the superstar, she would ask them specifically how they would like it and if they would like a custom announcement. So of course she wouldn't announce Roman Reigns the same why as she does with Chelsea, she would've done something more serious like how she does with Solo.
The custom announcement gave the wrestlers in my opinion some extra personality and made them more unique. It also helped newcomers or super casuals by giving them a better and faster idea to figure out what that superstar is just by how Samantha announced them.
Also it was just fun and she's fantastic at her job.

In Sheamus’ and Castagnoli fka Cesaro’s case, they had a good story going with the best of seven series and only to be ruined just for us fans to forget they were feuding, I agree with that bit; the only silver lining is that The Bar became one of the greatest tag teams of the modern era. What’s commendable is that Cody Rhodes and Seth “Freakin” Rollins despite their legitimate dislike towards one another are still able to keep it professional even in storyline.
