For me, 2022 Best Feud was Brock and Roman. Although their WM match was not great, the feud was awesome. Even Brock and Bobby had a good little feud but Brock and Roman's feud was exemplary which ended in the perfect way possible in the Summerslam 2022.

I think I would swap out Randy Orton vs Edge in 2020 for the Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso feud. The way Roman started out still seeming nice and loving like he was before his break but then he slowly got more and more malicious and evil to the point where he was about to decapitate Jey just because he wouldn’t quit and acknowledge him as the tribal chief was just so good and it really was the beginning of the greatest storyline ever. Without this story, the Sami story never happens, the Jey vs Jimmy story never happens, the legendary title reigns never happen, the legendary tag title match at mania never happens, and the tribal chief, main event Jey Uso, the enforcer solo sikoa, the honorary uce and the wiseman all never come together to create magic.

For me personally I consider The Authority vs Daniel Bryan to be more of a 2013 rivalry because it started there and went into 2014. When I chose a rivalry of the year I pick one that started in that year. So with that being said. I think 2014 belonged to the rivalry of Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose. Also they were the first men under 30yrs old at the time to main event a PPV with their Hell In a Cell Match at Hell In a Cell 2014.

Having undertaker win but not walk out in 2011 wrestle mania and then questioning for the rest of the year if he was done or not, only to come back to have the match of the year with the end of the era match in 2012. I was sure 09 would’ve been bald Randy vs Cena. One of my favorite rivalries of all time. It lasted many years, over the course of many years. I just always like their matches
2006: Trish Stratus vs Mickie James (as somebody else mentioned) 2007: Matt Hardy vs MVP (a few fans probably hate it, but I think it was one of the best rivalries that emphasize the pure entertainment aspect of WWE) 2009: John Cena vs Randy Orton (one of the few times I didn't mind hot potato since title changes were creatively booked by having each superstar taking advantage of the match stipulations that favored them- Orton cunningly abusing the rules or the lack of them, Cena being the resilient man who never gives up) 2010: The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels (it peaked in that year) 2012: The Undertaker vs HHH (I have to choose that over Rock/Cena because there was more backstory- including HBK's role as the referee- than just promoting it as a dream match) 2016: Roman vs Rollins (vs Ambrose who was later included), it was unfortunate that the payoff for so many years of build came to two B PPVs and was overshadowed by the brand supremacy thing at Battleground (and Roman's absence during the last month) Many of these are split in multiple years though.
Unpopular opinion: but as much as I love Punk, I wouldn't pick him vs Cena as my choice for 2011. It was just one legendary match and another underwhelming and overbooked match. I think Christian vs Randy Orton was more consistently good in 2011. If you wanna argue that the whole of the Punk/Cena feud from late 2010-2013 is better than Christian/Randy, then fine, I agree. But I just don't think the Punk/Cena feud deserve the award for Feud of the Year considering that same year had a far more consistently good feud.
I liked the Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero feud but the Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels was better in my opinion that match they had at Wrestlemania was awesome

Agree with all but 3. 2004 I’d have said Triple H and Shawn Michaels again. 2009 I’d go with Chris Jericho vs Rey Mystereo- their in-ring chemistry was off the charts and their title vs mask match at the Great American Bash was the 2nd best match of that year (behind Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at WM25 obviously). 2011 I’d give to Randy Orton vs Christian. Again their in-ring chemistry was off the charts. Orton has since said he’s never had better chemistry with anyone than Christian. They stole the show every time they wrestled with the one exception of Money In The Bank that year where Cena and Punk had their all timer.
A lot of these were definitely not the best feuds of each year, cuz we all know HHH vs Randy was the best feud even if the match was disappointing but it wasn’t even that bad.
Honestly I’m someone who prefers a good match over a good feud/story. Doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate them but I like great matches more. Zayn and Owens vs The Usos is a fan favorite this year, I was bored during the match. Meanwhile a fatal 4 way on a Royal rumble pre show is match I constantly rewatch

2007: Matt Hardy vs MVP (a few fans probably hate it, but I think it was one of the best rivalries that emphasize the pure entertainment aspect of WWE)
2009: John Cena vs Randy Orton (one of the few times I didn't mind hot potato since title changes were creatively booked by having each superstar taking advantage of the match stipulations that favored them- Orton cunningly abusing the rules or the lack of them, Cena being the resilient man who never gives up)
2010: The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels (it peaked in that year)
2012: The Undertaker vs HHH (I have to choose that over Rock/Cena because there was more backstory- including HBK's role as the referee- than just promoting it as a dream match)
2016: Roman vs Rollins (vs Ambrose who was later included), it was unfortunate that the payoff for so many years of build came to two B PPVs and was overshadowed by the brand supremacy thing at Battleground (and Roman's absence during the last month)
Many of these are split in multiple years though.
Unpopular opinion: but as much as I love Punk, I wouldn't pick him vs Cena as my choice for 2011. It was just one legendary match and another underwhelming and overbooked match. I think Christian vs Randy Orton was more consistently good in 2011. If you wanna argue that the whole of the Punk/Cena feud from late 2010-2013 is better than Christian/Randy, then fine, I agree. But I just don't think the Punk/Cena feud deserve the award for Feud of the Year considering that same year had a far more consistently good feud.

I liked the Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero feud but the Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels was better in my opinion that match they had at Wrestlemania was awesome

Agree with all but 3. 2004 I’d have said Triple H and Shawn Michaels again. 2009 I’d go with Chris Jericho vs Rey Mystereo- their in-ring chemistry was off the charts and their title vs mask match at the Great American Bash was the 2nd best match of that year (behind Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at WM25 obviously).
2011 I’d give to Randy Orton vs Christian. Again their in-ring chemistry was off the charts. Orton has since said he’s never had better chemistry with anyone than Christian. They stole the show every time they wrestled with the one exception of Money In The Bank that year where Cena and Punk had their all timer.

Honestly I’m someone who prefers a good match over a good feud/story. Doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate them but I like great matches more. Zayn and Owens vs The Usos is a fan favorite this year, I was bored during the match. Meanwhile a fatal 4 way on a Royal rumble pre show is match I constantly rewatch

Edge vs Undertaker couldn't be missed tbh. 2008 that year. That WM closer that feud was really one of the best in Both of their career's. Both Edge and Taker would say this if you ask them.
