Vince McMahon being gone is unquestionably a good thing, but you would hope calling someone up without any creative plans for them is a pattern of behaviour that would have gone with him. Good luck to Dijak.

Conspiracy theory time: with this new working relationship that WWE and TNA seem to have, could DIJAK being released and signing with TNA be part of a crossover storyline?
People acting like this is the end of the world and how dare WWE not give Dijack a new contract. WWE have a stacked roster from top to bottom with gripping stories in place from now until WrestleMania, they won't miss Dijack at all. And, for everyone complaining he's too good not to be used, then surely it's better for him not to be renewed rather than wasting away in catering? He can go to AEW, TNA, ROH, NJPW, but most of these unrecognised stars WWE have let go have mostly shown they're not stars elsewhere, too. Rusev, Cesaro, Black, Keith Lee the biggest one etc.
I think going to AEW straight after WWE can lead to a similar situation. I think when people leave wwe or aew maybe scope the landscape and build your name more to become bigger and get the recognition you have worked for
The people you mentioned not making it as a star elsewhere is because of the bad booking of a “sicko” not because of their lack of talent. And a good amount of those people were pushed away by Vince’s creative.
I agree with your top paragraph entirely. However I have some pushback on the other stars you listed. Rusev’s work as the redeemer absolutely has shown that he is a star. He is the greatest TnT champion in AEW history and his vignettes were incredible. Black I would argue has been booked horrendously and Keith Lee is a victim of health issues
Doesn't make sense that everyone likes him yet he was let go in that fashion. There is much, much more to this, either Dijak asked way too much during those negotiations or he wasn't liked much to begin with.
@@MALXCHI given a few weeks he would've gotten over so fast. The man is so talented on the mic and especially in the ring and considering he was trending without even appearing on the show ik he would've gotten reactions

This is a slow news day and a grip. People didn’t talk to him when he was there, everyone will complain for a week or 2 and then is soon forgotten. He can go make a name for himself and maybe come back or do something else.
I mean Dijak has been trending multiple times and was getting signs on tv to use him he was clearly more over than you think especially for someone who was never given a chance
I absolutely love Dijak but I think this headline needs to be a bit more specific, the headline of “ Wwe loooked for a reason to not like me” is a bit misleading because you would think he’s talking of the current regime when in actuality he’s referring to Vince ( which makes 100% sense). HHH and HBK have shown they liked him before .
Paul did him a favor by letting him go. There were no future plans for him, and if they had renewed his contract, he would have been stuck in the mid card as a jobber to the stars.
I think this was just a situation where HHH thinks he will become a star somewhere else. I think the release benefits Dijak, and once he realizes it, he will be the next guy to take over the Indy's.
I feel like we're only hearing one side of the story they're potentially potentially. The homie was not easy to work with backstage like he's talented. They wouldn't just not renew a contract if there wasn't other issues. I'd love to hear WWE's perspective on this too
I saw something recently that Odyssey Jones does recruiting at colleges for WWE. Also Dijak was making main roster money when he was sent back to NXT. They probably never had plans for Dijak, they just had to try and justify paying him.
I’d love to see him and Lance Archer as a Tag Team or across from each other. Closest we could get to a modern day road warriors on just sheer violence, fear, and insane athleticism for 2 big fellas.
People complain about WWE releasing wrestlers. People complain about WWE letting contract expire. I'm disappointed about Dijak leaving WWE but there's only so much tv time for wrestlers. Now Dijak can find the tv time he deserves. I hope he goes to TNA.
I honestly don't buy Triple H not liking him. Sure, he didn't win a bunch of titles. But he was one of the most heavily featured superstars on NXT Before he became t bar. And then as soon as Vince wad gone, T-bar was done And he was back to himself within weeks and he was back in nxt being heavily featured again. So I can't see how he is saying Triple H didn't like him 🤦🏾♂️ When we've also seen for the past twenty plus years, the results of triple h not liking someone backstage.
WRONG! It is not a Triple H decision. It is a TKO decision. Triple H may say his piece but ultimately it is TKO's decision. Triple H fought hard yo Sasha Banks back but he didn't get what he wanted.
I mean, to be really honest. People constantly complain about WWE releases, so fair enough to WWE this time for just not renewing his deal when they currently have no space or creative for him. 🤷♂️ You can't really complain about that. Maybe they called him up to Raw to prevent him getting into a big storyline at NXT or even holding a title when higher ups already knew they don't want to renew his contract. Makes all sense to me and is fair in my opinion.
Dijak should not sign to AEW. He would get lost in the shuffle, just half that roster. He should do Cody, and Drew did jump from promotion to promotion, make a name for himself, and then come back when he is indefinable.

Best of luck to him but… come on. NXT worked very well when Paul Levesque had a relatively fresh roster every year because the biggest names would go to the main roster and he could rebuild. Once he had total control of WWE, some names were going to fall by the wayside. Not saying this out of bitterness (I have no reason to care about WWE’s roster). but if I had to bet money, it wouldn’t be on him going elsewhere and making it big. Wouldn’t take amy pride in being right about this.
I had the idea that during the go home episode, the Slammiversary main event is changed to a King of the Mountain Match, which will be won at the last moment by the "King of TNA" Frankie Kazarian. And then as rumoured at Bound for Glory which will be somewhere in the UK, that's where we all believe in Joe Hendry 👏👏 and he wins the TNA World Title there defeating that bastard Kazarian who ruined his Against All Odds match, his NXT debut and the Slammiversary main event.
