Plea in Mitigation Competition Final 2023

This is the final of the Plea in Mitigation Competition 2023 in Partnership with BPP. The final took place on Saturday 20th May 2023. The finalists were:

The Defendant in this case, Miss Mac, has pleaded guilty to an offence of drink driving. A pre sentence report was ordered. The Defendant has 2 recent previous convictions for drink driving. Her breath reading in the present case was 4 times the legal limit and she was involved in a collision.
