I paid 399 in August for this scooter on Amazon. It is 549 today Nov 10. Unbelievable how expensive it is. I really like the scooter though and it is fast enough for me with a good range. Today, I saw a Glion dolly on the subway and was surprised to see how portable it is. Too bad I did not see it earlier.
I mean, I've never had an escooter before, and I paid $300 for mine, so far I really like it. I have no complaints. The only downside is that I live quite north, up near the mountains, and it's always quite slow when I try go go back home cause it's kinda bad on the up hill
I got a gotrax xr elite…the second day the motor started to make a clicking noise. Will go with this one and pay a little more for hopefully better quality
I am not agree with your conclusion, because this scooter could be the perfect choice for people who do not need those specs that others prefer on another recomended ones. This point of view is based only on the technical aspects with your user profile without considering the potential consumers personal requriments wich may differ. Such as; - short distance to make - there is no hills around - handless folding (if it is important to be clean at arrival) - easy carrying (especially for a weak person) (put into a car, take it to upstairs at home or office) - compact size when folded (using public transport, limited boot space in car, or under office desk) - practicly maintenance free (nothing to adjust) - puncture free tyres - and so on We need to think with the users mind if we want to fulfill their own requriments. Otherwise this is a great video. Thanks!
Hey, great review. Ninebot may have realized their mistake with price as I saw it (albeit without a seat) on amazon for $427. I also learned there is an app where you can remove the speed governor and go just shy of 16 mph. Would you say it competes with similarly priced scooters in this case?
Interesting, that makes it pretty similarly priced to the GoTrax XR Elite. With the price and speed you mentioned, I'd say yes. In this situation the Ninebot would have the advantages of better folding, better build quality, and better customer service. The GoTrax XR Elite would have the advantage of more range. Definitely comparable, just depends on what you need.

@@tikeoff5512 try not to hit on potholes or deep bumps. Mine has crack on front wheel. But it's ok. Not really fast though. But it's a head turner for sure. Good built.
thinking about this one for my 13 year old son, goes for $430 with the battery where I live, is this scooter worth it or is this just a boring scooter even with the battery?
is it normal that i can only drive 10 kilometers in eco mode and in sport mode ??? they said i can drive 22 kilometers but with 100% batterie charging i can drive only 10 kilometers .... my wheight is 75 kg and i drive only on flatten ground with 20 celius grad can anyone help me
hey, bro calm down, first of all, did you watch an unboxing video on how to set it up2nd In the vid it says to download the segway app on a phone and connect it to the scooter to unlock its full speed,3rd. if you did the steps then check your app settings, watch a few videos on unlocking your speed on the app, and that should fix it!

Definitely way overpriced. Probably only worth around $400 max. Maybe $300. This is probably one of the lowest spec escooters out there, even in the low end of scooters. You don't really see adult scooter with 12mph max speed and around 8 miles of real world range. There's no mechanical braking at all, battery on the stem, and it's handle bar isn't even bike compatible, which means you can't mount any regular bike accessories on it.

I got mine for 277 on Amazon so I think it was a good buy the price went down they said by 44 percent. Now the price is really high again.

I have this unit. It's not that really fast. Is it possible to upgrade the speed of e22?
You can bump it up to 15.5 mph if you buy the external battery pack, but it's $250... So not cheap.

If you can get it for a good price, it's a great scooter. Segway tends to make high quality scooters.
