I found Fr Ripperger and Sensus Fidelium a few months ago and I must say this channel has completely changed my spiritual life in an amazing way and probably could say it’s changed my whole life and by extension the lives of my family from all of the spiritual knowledge and theology this channel has taught. No bones about it, he teaches with clarity & charity. He's the just priest we need, in this time of mass apostasy, heresy, and abandonment of the flock.

Listened to this because of Fr. Ripperger’s 2024 talks On Our Troubling Times where he references this talk. I dearly dearly wish Fr. Ripperger would walk us through many more examples(not just extreme cases(like the priest dancing with the Eucharist on his head) or very easy examples(not going the speed limit if in an emergency). Yes, many of us weren’t formed well, so we need to be taught to reason through scenarios. I learn best through stories/examples. It would be great if he would answer real questions submitted by email which the person gives as much context as possible or if he comes up with hypotheticals which are similar and makes up the context and circumstances, then answers them. It’s hard to find answers to pressing questions when, as he says, many of us lack Gnome(and many priests lack it and one can find a priests to rubber stamp pretty much anything if you ask enough of them).

Reading chat while I was listening, I was struck by the thought that if we are tired we need to be silent before we let our emotions take over. There is so often when I have gotten sleepy trying to do something, and it does not work. I can’t force myself to stay awake and do something. You wonder if so many problems today is from not getting enough sleep or getting up on the wrong side of the bed.

The images of church interiors at the start of the video are exquisite.
Fr. Ripperger, when you talk about obeying authority, it reminds of what the SSPX did. They felt we are/were under extreme circumstances. So Archbishop Lefebrve was right in what he did afterall.
But for the Arcbp. LeFevbre and the SSPX, the Trindentine Mass would've been lost.

I was hoping Father would explain if the Bishops are wrong to obey civil authorities in shutting churches and dispensing everyone from Mass without fighting for our rights. No one has any trouble going to Home Depot or grocery shopping or Target or Walgreens but the Bishops just tell everyone you don't have to go to Mass.

I need someone to tell me where I can find the church teaching that says we can't be without a pope for more than a generation. I'm not kidding - I need to know where that teaching is available.
The only thing that I know is that the Church is immutable and indefectable. With a small amount of effort, one can point to instances in which the last 6 popes have taught things that the Catholic Church has already condemned.
So if the last 6 popes are teaching something new - how can the Church be indefectable or immutable?
I need someone to explain this to me. What part does light have with darkness? I thought I understood that quote. I need to hear how to reconcile that light and darkness, in fact, can be in communion with each other.

Question for Fr.Ripperger / Sensus Fidelium: For the Commandment to 'Honor Thy Father & Mother"... My father has been violently abusive to me (& my Mother, Sister, others in family) literally my entire childhood & even throughout my adult life. He has punched me, choked me, and basically abandoned me to die on the streets a few years ago when I was extremely medically ill. I then disowned him for the 3rd time in my life, politely telling him that while I love him & forgive him... It got to the point that even with him screaming/losing his temper over the phone, I get shaking tremors, cannot think for the rest of the day, sometimes throw up, and cease to function on the job, can't sleep, etc. PTSD flashbacks. Please tell me... am I FORCED to bring him BACK into My Life if I cannot function around his never-ending Abuse? Am I breaking a commandment / sinning? Don't I qualify for a Plenary Indulgence? Please tell me if I have a right to just not have ANY CONTACT with him? I trust you all and your advice...Thank You & May Christ Be With You Always...

Song of Yeshua. I’m so sorry for you and your Mather and family who has been under this man, your fathers abuse. Your father is obviously a very abusive and sick man. Report him to the authorities. That kind of fear and turmoil you all are living under is not from God . It is a sin and does not come from Love. You don’t have to live under terror. You have to be brave and report him, for everyones healing, well-being and Peace. The Law will take care of your father and therapy. Awful suffering for you, No you don’t have to be in his presence or have your father physically in your life. Love him, Pray for him and stay away from him.
Get help, whether you are under or over legal age. So one of you don’t come to permanent harm.

I too become empathic with people from my heart, so I recognize your goodness. I am an adult and completely free from my abusive father now. He certainly has created permanent damage to my nervous system/neurological medical condition that is invisible to others. They call it PTSD, but I know once I am in Heaven, all will be healed by Jesus Christ Our KING!! I wish I knew more wonderful souls like you. At least we will be friends in Heaven, where all are trustworthy. Thank you again dear for your heartfelt kindness. May God Hold You in His Hand & Jesus Protect & Guide You through this world. Hello there. I actually asked our deacon and he agreed this is a tough one. He said yes we do honor our parents because they gave us life. And while your living under their roof. However that still doesn’t mean a victim can’t report the abuse. Now if you do not live under their roof anymore that’s different. You try and distance yourself. Like don’t invite them over try not to be around them. Even phone calls can go unanswered. Things like that. Basically limit your availability to them. Don’t disrespect them but it’s ok and is recommended distancing yourself as much as possible. I hope this helps. God does not will abuse on anyone!!!!!

Will someone help me understand. Is Fr. Saying that we should listen to God’s law and not to civil authorities since what they are doing is immoral?
My husband and I had this same discussion this past Sunday. I legitimately asked why bishops are bowing down to governors since the only person in authority over them is the Pope and not a politician. After listening to this talk I believe what I said is correct...right?
It is not only God’s law and civil law. There is Church law for which I believe the same premise is applied. So long as Church Law does not contradict Divine Law, it is to be obeyed.
There is Church Law in different but legitimate senses. The policy enforcement of a bishop or even pope does not inherently fall under the protection of infallibility. If a particular bishop (even that of Rome) permits distribution of the Blessed Sacrament to those living in public mortal sin, the bishop is contradicting Divine Law. Yet, the Church herself has not defected from the protection of infallibility. In this case, a priest would be forced to “disobey” Church Law.
What it is called, if not technically stealing because one can never break the 10 Commandments, if one takes food from someone to survive?

God, family, country, self. Generally that is my approach. It seems alot of people have it flipped.
There are scenarios in which the good of society takes precedence over the good of one’s family, as with soldiers and politicians.
I’ve always loved these videos ... but a commercial every few minutes apart .. over and over is excess .. period.

I get the need to survive but stealing is STEALING. To say I had to steal to survive is something I understand but if you could explain that it’s not technically stealing I’d like to know why..if nothing else for apologetics purposes.
Yes, I was under the impression that stealing food to survive was not a sin. Therefore, is it not, in fact stealing being as one can never steal according to the Commandments?
What did he mean when he said it wasn’t theft to steal food to feed yourself if you’re starving?
When it is capable, society is obliged to feed the starving since the good of sustaining a life now is superior to the possibility of sustaining a life later. That is, it is an injustice for the rich to sit on a tower of wheat making provisions for the future while the poor are starving to death in the streets today. The natural injustice offends against the civil government’s duty to preserve human life (the highest natural right of the human person).
If you’re interested in learning more on moral maturity, there is an interesting thought experiment called the Heinz Dilemma that I would encourage you to look up.
Appreciate the content Fr. Ripperger very much. If I could respectfully suggest to slow down when you pray being mindful that we are talking to God himself instead of “rattling a prayer off” as if it were just a rote exercise. Thank you for all you do.

It is best to refrain from casting judgement, particularly on priests concerning how they pray. Based upon how quickly Fr. Ripperger is able to reason and move through a complex philosophical lecture, I think he is quite able to pray that quickly and mean every word. It may appear a certain way to you, but it does not in fact mean he just “rattled off the prayer.”
Fr Rippergers has many videos where he opines on how ghastly the laity talk down to and criticize those whom God has chosen to carry out his divine will. They suffer from arrogance derived from pride. Not charity and they do not acknowledge that the Priests are infact his superior.

I love these vids but it's very distracting to have so many ads in them. Especially when Rippergers voice volume is so low!! I have to put volume at max just so I can hear him speak at a whispering volume. And then RIGHT as he's about to get to his next great point I hear a VERY LOUD ad blasting at me saying, and I'm not joking, "WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW THE SECRET TO SLEEPING WITH A WOMAN YOU JUST MET?!" Or the ad might say something like, "IT WAS A DUNGEON RUN, I CAN'T DO IT SOLO!" It's so out of place. Please get rid of the ads!

theft = taking something from somebody without giving any equivalent for that. Money is not auseable product or service and not useable to anaything but only as an comfortable mean of exchange therefore the money used for exchange has to be erned with producing any equivalent which is useable for anothe exchange process partner. ( in other case is "empty" money- withut real value of anything) During speculation money will be generated without producing any goods or services usable for another human. Therefore speculation is a theft. A legal one but theft. Nobody dare to call it as it is....Getting money from speculation for our services and product we are victim of theft! Becuase behind this money is somebody who is getting product and services necessary to survive without giving anything to the market. He is living on cost of producers.

Why the excessive commercials!!?? A dozen or so is WAY too much.
This has happened to other sites, the more popular the more youtube sticks us with the commercials. One site owner didn't even know youtube was doing it to them. They had a few commercials and then youtube threw more in on them. I resent them myself, not had a T.V. for years now I'll be getting rid of the lap-top.
