as a retired trucker in the USA i have to say nothing sounds as cool as those v8 scans..straight pipe right out the side and give it the beans and lett'er rip...cheers man ...be safe out there
How nice is that Nipper guy?! Like what a sound bloke he is, loves trucks, knows his stuff, great with Tim's fans, and all round good guy. Way nicer than that bully Ollie. More from you guys!
@@thornypete I don't like how he talks to Tim. Something I cant quite put my finger on..He makes fun of him in a "joking way" in a video but there is an element of malice to it
Brilliant Video Tim !! I know both those layby's on the A1 close to Berwick, on the England-Scotland border, that piece of the A1 is one of my all time favourites, both by road and on the train. good to see the Splitter back on !!
Your like a pair of children in a sweet shop with those side pipes 😂 awesome sound and I am only jealous, nothing better than sitting next to a Scania V8 with a trucksmax kit in traffic and listening to it pulling away.
Hi Tim and nipper i past you both last week just south of aviemore on the A9 . I was hauling 40 ton of fresh salmon from Kinlochleven to france in my new fh16 750 . You both looked good going down the A9 with your lowloaders with the old trucks on the back .
That was indeed the forth rail bridge. Wish I would have known you were taking this way. Would have stood with a sign saying 'TONES'. The three bridges (Forth Rail Bridge, Forth Road Bridge and The Queensferry Crossing). They're used mainly to split traffic as the old road bridge was struggling with the load. The new one is mainly for Fife and motorway traffic. Loved these videos man! New truck is seeing good use now.
Awesome part 2 tim love to see you and nipper running together and the fun you have id love to see shauns reaction to the splitter comments off nipper 🤣🤣🤣 its great to see how far youve come mate keep it up
Very entertaining as always 😅, love ya. I am a long distance driver for a well known push shopping brand 😊. Haha. I love a long drive. Always watch on my break.
I started watching this because i got recommended it and now im addicted to it. Very entertaining Tim love your long haul with nipper vids. Keep up the good work Tim love your vids (Btw that side exhaust is just addictive and satisfying my reaction to it is the same as yours lol)
Another brilliant viewing Great watching mate No tones on the truck yet And I had some good news my license came back today From dvla Yes got delayed due to checks Etc etc And covid back log I’m happy now I can apply for some driving jobs I wanted to go for Take care and safe driving
Awesome vlogs Tim, I enjoyed parts 1 & 2 of your Scottish trip. Fantastic V8 convoy with Nipper on the return journey what a truly amazing guy he is!! lol
That was an excellent vlog thanks Tim. I told you the East Coast has some wonderful scenery, especially on the approach to Berwick, pronounced 'Berick' as you say 'Derek' but with the B instead of the D and i instead of the second e, get it right next time you are up here. Great stuff again!!
i remember them days when my dad used to drive a low loader with farming machinery around up north from peterborough ... he worked for peterborough heavy haulage ... if you ever need a drivers mate .. id be more than happy to come out with you n enjoy the fun ... trucks are my fav since i was very young ...
Great video, brilliant in fact! 2 part video done very nicely. I like how you went 2 different ways aswell, up west and returned down the east coast. I drive to aberdeen from teeside very regularly so know the east coast road up the a1 very well. Some lovely roads. I must admit i do like to go across the a66 every now and again though to take in those views and onto the m6 into scotland. Such a shame i wasnt on the road to see you lads. Great videos though 👌
Epic adventure tim and nipper, quality content as always i bet your looking forward to the trip back up north . Keep the adventures coming, any update on the 4 series yet . Can't wait for the next installment 💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍
Loved that content! You and Nipper are spot on together, what a nice guy! Met you both at Truckfest 👍🏻 Tim would you consider mapping your 500 or maybe going the whole hog….downpipes, hybrid turbo etc?
Nice one Tim, I belong to Inverness same as Nipper and you past my back door 5 minutes from Team valley. That's a better trip than sitting in traffic down south for half a shift.
Hi Tim i past you and nipper going south on A9 near aviemore last week with 40ton of fresh salmon in my volvo fh 750 on my way to france you were both looking good with your lowloders and old trucks
Hey Mr Tim! Have a quick question. As an American I don't see any of the Scania trucks here. Well I mean they are starting to show up now. But anyhow. My question is this. What in the blazes is that noise your truck makes when changing a gear? Sometimes it's longer and others it's shorter. Coming from the exhaust. I've seen you mimic the sound a few times in other videos. That being said. I like your truck more then the nipper guy lol more crome wheels and all your touches to it. Looking forward to hearing from yuh
You missed some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland, Glencoe. You were soooooo close but you turned off at Tyndrum and headed along Loch Awe on the way up.
Hey Tim fantastic video upload love the trucks u and nipper make great content can't wait to see what u have installed for the next upload Happy trucking 😊
Nipper is an awesome bloke his truck is awesome and everything so is yours Tim crazy you were working for data shredders couple months ago now your in Scotland with your own truck and trailer and that side skirt might need some attention
I used to stop at Pitlochry regularly for fuel and food when I was tramping glad to see it’s still going strong was the second stop at coney Garth at Leeming looked familiar
Would you not be better off making a second splitter identical to the existing one then if one gets damaged you can just swap it out and won't have to wait as long for repairs?
ohh tim the way you said berwick-upon-tweed was a slight mispronunciation, the W in berwick is actually silent, dont know why but it is. And come back on up to scotland sometime soon, because our views are awesome!
I noticed your driving in A mode which yes is power mode this will hold the gears that slight longer but will burn more fuel if you drive in AE which is automatic economy mode I recon you could get 8mpg and still can have the side pod open in AE as well
Please do more long haulage trips Tim! Really entertaining 👏

Aye it was
Try opening the pipes THEN putting the engine brake on, thats how cowboys in peterbilts do it, except their pipes are 8 inches and always stright 😂😂
Would you not be better off making a second splitter identical to the existing one then if one gets damaged you can just swap it out and won't have to wait as long for repairs?
Awsome video tim Yours and nippers truck look tidy together in convoy 👍

I love to see those ERF working ❤
Would the big wheel not be better fitted as a Y shape, so it doesn’t stop you seeing the dash centre?
ohh tim the way you said berwick-upon-tweed was a slight mispronunciation, the W in berwick is actually silent, dont know why but it is. And come back on up to scotland sometime soon, because our views are awesome!
