- Here is a very raw cut from the Saturday at Summernats 35! The crowd got very loose and there was lots of burnouts on Tuff Street. We think that this is a real look at what happened at Summernats 35. Lots of people getting kicked out, trailer skids, and very loose units at the latest Summernats event.

I was in the V8 bar sitting under a tree up on the fence chattin 2 sum fullas about 11ish...about 20 people around & a few cheeky fuckers across the road (all good nature)...then they started getting good reactions from the cars, so that started off these blokes in the V8 bar to join in and make it a double sided skid fest (these dudes were loud but fuckin funny) so by like 1 or 2 ish I looked around & there was fuckin shitloads of people but all congregated to this 20m strip of road!! (like you guys said anxiety alley) I sat in the right spot that day. So thanks 2 the young cheeky fuckers across the road & the blokes who I was sittin with in the V8 bar cause without their loud, relentless, hilarious somewhat borderline encouragement, I don't reckon that few hours of chaotic entertainment would have happened. It never got dangerous or aggressive or disrespectful, it was like you guys said, the stay behind the barrier line disappeared...but the bar side was fenced so it didn't happen...in conclusion fence the cruise route both sides of the street and road stays mostly clear...maybe?? Well hopefully
Or...people could just not be dickheads and stay off the road...well hopefully.

Honestly depends what your idea of good is.
A drivetrain swapped driftable oddessey is far more impressive to me than a straight line oddessey built using mostly bolt on parts from the original manufacturer. That’s part of why I love JimmyOakes drift civic using Nissan parts, it’s a huge amount of work designing and fabricating these things to actually perform well.
Gotta remember Kyles “1000hp” minivan hasn’t performed anywhere near what it was built to do. Struggles to put power to the ground at the track and on the street, still hasn’t made a decent 1/4mile pass without breaking, limped almost all of race week, and we can’t ignore the easily avoidable mistake that cost them the last engine.
I’m a fan of Kyles, have been for years, and I love what he’s slowly doing to his van.
But having a van that’s good for titles/thumbnails/clicks isn’t the same as having a van that’s actually good in reality, doing what it was built to do, meeting expectations.
