also sophie made things worse by keeping quiet about emma’s death being an accident. if she’d said something things wouldn’t have escalated further in the circle but omg alice was SUCH an instigator after greg got killed it’s like she felt she HAD to prove the killer was anyone else to feel better about her “boyfriend” being innocent. the way they all kept turning on each other reminded me of that one twilight zone episode about scapegoating and the treacherous nature of groups of people.
This is such a good concept for a horror movie, and one of the more realistic ones I've seen in a long time, because its believable that something like this could happen to a bunch of coked out college kids

Yay! I cant do scary movies on my own (i almost passed away during A Haunting in Venice, which is arguably not that scary but im easily spooked. I get suprised and scared if someone comes into the kitchen when i wasnt expecting them to. Great in a flat share.... its gotten to a point that my flatmate now lovingly screams "i live here toooo" at me. ) But i can do scary movies through youtube commentary, so this is perfect!

Loved the reaction, that ending was messed up but I agree it felt pretty realistic. I’m really looking forward to those upcoming videos❤️ I’m not really a horror fan, but I thought to make a suggestion, I don’t know if you guys would be willing to watch a show for this channel, but there’s this horror show called “From” that I’d like to see get more attention, it’s really interesting. It’s basically about this mysterious town where people randomly get stuck in, and they have to stay in the houses at night or these monsters will get them. I really love the mystery to it.

idk if this is accurate to genz because if i was playing this i would not be able to stop making among us references
i had the misfortune of knowing how the movie ended before i actually viewed it myself so i just felt bad for greg’s character. the owner of the house/friend of his uh, gf, i guess, was singling him out and clearly had a lot of animosity for him so he calls the night early to have his light therapy sleep after some exercise. then he wakes up to four girls, one being his gf, pointing weapons at him and interrogating him about his belongings they went through. liike i understand their fear in the situation, but i understand his too. once he realized the gravity of what was happening he probably felt threatened bc even after putting the knife down he still got charged at. he defends himself, tries to ask if they’re okay, then continues to get piled on until he’s eventually killed.

Okay so I just watched the movie for the sole reason join in on your reaction (so yeah... reactions are definitely leading to purchases)... well and we could agree on any other movie for Halloween.
I find most disturbing that this movie is listed as horror comedy because all the moments where it wants to be funny are rather cringeworthy while the overdramatized characters and the end are simply tragic. (Then again the US oddly do not know tragedy as a form of drama; so maybe that is the explanation.)
But for what it is, I am surprised to like the movie. Didn't thought much of it before, now I watch your reaction directly after and I think I will rewatch it soon. Hope you noticed how the morning sky suddenly turned from bright and sunny to grey when Bee pulled the gun on Sophie. Loved that. Hope to find more well used techniques like this on a rewatch.
So... let me see what your take on this movie is.
9:33 for security reasons I would like to point out that a deer in the headlights means that someone does nothing in shock... like a deer in the headlights... well at least if you drive directly towards them with the brights on. They literally just do not react while blinded.
So if you drive on a country road around dusk or dawn, slow down and prepare to break and turn off the brights. Especially when there are both fields and forests around. Oh and even if they do not stand in the middle of the road for reasons, prepare for just one or two dozens to suddenly pass the road. It happens.
Also: greetings from Germany... where we have lots of deer apparently.
13:34 well... usually there are several cell phone services active in an area and emergeny calls simply use a form of roaming, meaning that your cell phone can simply use any service at no cost to make the call; Bee already had no service when she arrived so at least one provider is not active in the area; and then there is the storm; heavy rain can also hamper the signal if there wasn't even some damage to the cell tower; also a common misconcption: some providers often share the same tower; here in Germany we have like two providers who also build their own cell towers and rent out space on those to the other providers to put antennas on.
So yeah... long story short; I guess they only noticed they had no signal now that they also lost the wired connection and therefore their wifi
(another anecdote: most power, telephone, and tv cables in Germany are actually underground although/and we usually do not have as powerful storms as the US; that is probably one of the reasons why not so many crime or horror movies are set in Germany)
If you would like a few suggestions here is a short list for no specific reason: Friday the 13th Part 1 and 2, Nightmare on Elm Street, Prom Night, The Howling, Evil Dead, Hellraiser, Terror Train, The Fog, The Town That Dreaded Sundown, The Exorcist, Silence of the Lambs, Are You Alone in the House?, Psycho, Carrie, and well... then you might as well think about the Scream franchise while you're at it.
Im here for my favorite boys, and some of the over edits are fun. Its an in joke like when a bit goes on and on. If you stopped I would legitimately miss it.
