  • In this video I see which is better for making my 2023 can-am x3 rs turbo rr look brand new again after just a quick wash. I have been a die hard SC1 fan and user for years and many people have told me to try tire shine foam. I am glad i finally tried it! This tire foam really makes washing your sxs easier because you can just give it a quick rinse and use tire foam ti really make your sxs SHINE!

    I've used tire foam for 10 years, it can't be beat and it's 1/5 the price of the other. I will say that it works even better when wiped down.

    I use both but the tire foam I leave wet under all the wheel wells for easier mud cleaning and its a lot cheaper. I like SC1 a lot but it seems to have static cling for some dust . I think if you wiped down tire foam you get more of a even look but not as shinny as SC1. I hope that helps ,

    I use Amsoil Mudslinger as its far better than all the others. My goal is not for a shine but an easily cleaned piece of equipment.

      @@OregonOff-road Don't do it to anything remotely new, it'll wreck the plastic because it's still off gassing. That shit is junk.

      @@icehog2367 we’ve been doing it since new and have had no issues yet. I did just try some Maguires plastic shine and polish and I think I will use that from now on as it doesn’t attract so much dust.

    I hope you wiped the tire foam to make it fair, I always just leave the sc1 alone when I spray it, because we use it for mud

      I did end up wiping it down on the bed just to keep it fair. I did however spray the whole machine down with the tire foam and let it sit over night and the next day it looked brand new. Would have taken at least an hour of not two with sc1 and wiping it. Or two full cans of sc1 because only half the spray actually gets on the machine😂

      @@OregonOff-road yeah, depending on what kind of riding you do is also a deciding factor, we ride a lot of clay that is thick, so tire foam won’t cut it for us

      @@cwsenderson oh gotcha, yeah it’s mostly dust and some mud but definitely not clay where we ride.

      303 protectant also works good and is affordable. Dries not oily so dust doesn’t stick but gives a pretty good shine and has uv blockers in it to help preserve the plastics they say…..

    Does the dirt not stick to the tire foam?

    • @OregonOff-road
      @OregonOff-road  Год назад +3

      Just got back from a trip, the dirt stuck to the sc1 a lot more then it stuck to the tire foam. Also it rinsed off quite a bit easier then the sc1.
