Which is the BEST RZR detailer - SC1 vs CoverAll

  • So I figured I would pit SC1 against the CoverAll brand of tire dressing in a head to head battle to see which was the best detail spray to use on a Rzr. I was hoping between the two sprays one would repel the mud and make clean up easier.

    I just tried cover all and sc1. Sc1 is the best. It makes faded plastics look brand new.

      All of it slicks them up pretty good. I'm still a fan of pledge just because I can grab a can for a buck or two when I'm at the grocery store. Doesn't smell as good as SC1 but it's not quite as greasy either.

    I use SC1 on the underside of my zero turn mower before I mow10-acres. It makes it easier to clean when I am done. Smells good to. I do use a pressure washer on it.

      @BCDriven  3 года назад

      10/10 on the smell factor of SC1, one thing I didn't do with either of these is use them repetitively. It seems the people who have the best luck with SC1 use it every wash, every ride and I think it's almost like cast iron where it seasons the plastic and makes a thicker coating.

      @@BCDriven its spendy but just don't use it all. Just coat it and let dwell and rinse. When you get your refills you don't pay that initial amount.

    No matter what you do, gotta use some effort to get it clean. I will try the Pledge on my Renegade. I use SC1 and Mother’s on it after I wash it with pressure washer

    • @BCDriven
      @BCDriven  3 года назад

      I totally agree, I think the entire internet is in search of that magic potion you rub on and allows you to rinse it off with a hose pipe and be done. I just don't think it exists lol Pledge is my go to, it doesn't really reduce the effort while washing it but gives it a quick shine and makes it look great when your finished and you can get it for a dollar a can so you don't have to be stingy with it.

      I'd like to try it that way but cant commit to a full gallon lol I dont think I did either one of them justice with only one application. A lot of people have noted you have to use sc1 a couple times to build a coating and it works better.

      @@BCDriven stay oily, if a dusty day gets coated BUUUUT. when you get home dirt comes right off. Also after wash I dry my bike with a leaf blower then coat the entire bike, engine and all. It help displace any water hiding in tight spots. You can see the water get pushed out of places like the chain. You will have zero rust anywhere.
