this is the most satisfying paddle click I've ever heard in my life
Yeah fucking satisfying
The best explanation of the steering wheel I’ve ever see over the years of watching.
Be your own man Mick. Good luck. Hope we see you one day in F1.
Johnny 990 He’s signed for ferrari for 2020
@@rmcgough4498 source ? And do you mean as a Ferrari academy driver, or getting a seat for Ferrari in F1?
@@rmcgough4498 no he didnt. Dont spread bullshit
Soap maybe as reserve but definitely not for one of the two main seats
He’s made it! 🤩
The elder German dude from those infamous F1 press conferences should have interviewed him... 'Mick, less Buttons, more has F2 become too complicated and is it more like a video game...etc' 😂😂
Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus is it weird that I reed it with his voice lol
His name is Walter Koster lmao
A short view back to the past. Thirty years ago, Niki Lauda told us ‘take a trained monkey, place him into the cockpit and he is able to drive the car.’ Thirty years later, Sebastian told us ‘I had to start my car like a computer, it’s very complicated.’ And Nico Rosberg said that during the race - I don’t remember what race - he pressed the wrong button on the wheel. Question for you Mick: is Formula Two driving today too complicated with twenty and more buttons on the wheel, are you too much under effort, under pressure? What are your wishes for the future concerning the technical programme during the race? Less buttons, more? Or less and more communication with your engineers?
I read with the voice of that interviewer 😂😂
can you repeat the question?
Crazy how much he reminds me of his Dad. His demeanor, body language, etc. Hopeful for 2021!
he doesnt deserve a seat in F1 more than other pilots
@@dageek1000 I would agree with you. If he earns it then good, but if not then he should get the boot.
He's not good atleast relatively compared to his peers
@DAN his starts definetely aren't overrated
@DAN , why?
Mick: "a road car has 3 pedals..."
Americans: *visible confusion
Why how many pedals do American cars have?
@@mrSam3ooo usually americans don't shift gears so they dont have a clutch
So you cans only get automatic gearbox cars in Murcia?
@@nicholaswuite4932 mostly, most people in the US can't drive a manual, their driving tests are a joke
As an american driver, it is true that the majority of americans do not know how to drive stick and it is not required to learn. It's a shame, I got the pleasure of learning in an old Jetta and it made driving way more fun. Currently saving up for a Geo Metro for an even more raw experience.
Sounds like american , british and Australian english all in one
U r right
its call German English..
Nice Guy no its nott
Yeah his multiples accents is so striking
@@mmomanny he is German and he is speaking English,so.
"A roadcar has 3 pedals on the floor"
YES YES YES!!! THERE IS HOPE FOR THIS WORLD ❤
Agreed
And in a few years the cars completly drive by itself..
Damn his english... amazing, not a single clue that he s german... amazing ! Put him to F1 please ! Forza Schumi!!!
His English is good so he should be in F1
He has to earn it to drive in f1 not gifted to him because he is son of Schumacher
Best wishes to mick
He's not ready to be in F1. I think when Kimi retires he'll go to Alfa.
There's one clue: He said "informations", which is from German plural "Informationen", but in English, there's only "information", always singular.
This is a rather stupid comment
Thank you for this vid !!! this is so interesting
Wow, very very good explanation. Clear in all details, and simple at the same time. Really appreciated this video, hopefully we'll have one another in the future
Can’t wait to see in F1
You will succeed in F1 like your father
Keep fighting Michael 🙏🙏
He is a fine driver... but he is not his dad, that's for sure.
@@adamleblanc5294 No Shit
Mega cool erklärt. Danke Mick 👌🏻
Hoffentlich sehen wir dich bald in der F1 Mick
#ForzaMick🇩🇪🏁
Kimi: *heavy breathing*
Legends say that Kimi still hasn't gotten his Steering wheel.
Maybe Mick got it? who knows. I'd love to see the two pair tho, or maybe Mick and Gio idk
Super interesting and super well explained! Thxs!!!
shout out to the Prema marketing team for 1. making this video and 2. drawing clear parallels to a similar video michael made.
Well explained & I hope to see you in F1 soon 👍🤞
No comparisons can be made on track because of the different eras, but each time I see Mick talking it reminds me of Michael...
Mick "oh ya, that's the reverse button."REV"...we don't need it too much."...Confidence!
That isn't the case for vettel at the 2017 Singapore gp
God bless the Schumacher familia.... Your dad would be so proud :) God Speed.....
Love the tennis racket overtape.
I remember 96 first win for Ferrari with Michael.. I never missed a race.. yr dad was a hero figure to me and my kids (who are 15yr old triplets) know the Schumacher name always ask how Michael is now..
Michael always talked out of one side of his mouth.. lol classic schiumi
All eyes will be on you in F1, that being said listen to Toft and Ross.. they will guide you like yr dad would’ve and hopefully one day he will again!!!
Be yr racer and never have that expectation what yr dad did.. that’s unrealistic in today’s F1.. minus Lewis, but that’s era will be gone soon when new cars come out...
Good Luck Mick.. my family will be pulling for you in Providence, RI USA!!
-Tifosi
He basically said the same thing about the reverse button as his dad
I love how it just has tennis racket handle tape on it ....
Can’t wait to hopefully see him in F1
Can’t wait to see you in F1
Remember back in 2012 Michael Schumacher explaining his Mercedes wheel, and now his son, Like father like son , go Mick 🥲
Forza Mick, can't wait till you're in F1...see you soon.
I'm not quite sure how the clutch paddles work, i think they both do the job right? which one indicates how much the clutch engages if both are pressed? Can they just press either?
Marios Dual clutch is used only for start like for getting off the line, For the start of the race they hold both the clutch, As lights go green they release first clutch quickly and other is released slowly according to the bite and feel, then in clutch is not needed to shift gears.
When both are engaged it's like a full aplication of the pedal on your everyday car, when they release one it's basically a clutch bite point, then they release the second slowly
Thanks!
@@marios449 No worries man
I believe the dual/split clutch paddles were banned a few years ago, at least in F1, not sure about F2, so effectively the paddles do the same thing, and it's driver preference which they use.
Interesting how an f2 wheel now has about the same about of buttons as an F1 wheel from just over 10 years ago.
When he explained that steering wheel I remember his dad
the way to explain it is the same as Michael
May he rise in f1 like he's father
I like the drs paddle
FORZA SCHUMITO., PROST, SALUTE AL SCHUMI
AVANTI SCHUMACHER
He’s so cute 🥰
Your Dad can be so proud of you 🤙
Mick has 30 or 40 Superlicense points from his F3 championship win?
30
So next year he has to perform good otherwise his 30 points are gone
@@nishhnishh1088 Well, realistically he has to perform good anyways... : )
Mick straight up becoming Michael
I bet he is proud of him..
That's why i love paddle shifters rather than manual sticks
Hey mick
Super guuut erklährt
Wie dein Papa 🥰🥰
Mach weiter so..!!!
Bitte komm in due F1
Hat mich erinnert an 2012 mit dem Mercedes Video
CAMPIONE 😍😍💛💪💪🚘
His accent actually sound American, damn.
j4ck not really, it’s a mix. Like the way he says faster is the British way of saying
where is the autopilot button? no way you can race at full speed and be focused on cars around you plus play playstation at the same time
I don't think there is autopilot button man 😂
Ramon Homjak ever heard of practice and training? Plus F2 and F1 cars have extremely good grip which means they can turn at higher speeds with a less chance of oversteer
I have one question why is the car wearing full set tires in a nice sunny day
Any hidden traction control, bro..? 😁😜
He sounds just like Michael, just the pitch higher
Why is the car on wets
So, he does not have the drink?
Poor Kimi
This is the nicest kid
Sounds just like Michael
Sounds like his dad.... Memories...
Where is the drs button
Mick Schumacher & Charles Leclerc for Ferrari.
Or Mick and his cousin David
Don't they only use the clutch for the starts though? The rest is just upshift and downshift
Pitstops
And into/out of Reverse. But you are correct that normal up/downshifting doesn’t need clutch.
I would keep changing the settings for no reason
man compared to F1 , F2 has it better with the wheel buttons
🤞🙏🏁🇷🇺
First subscriber
Extra button in f1
he could actually be mistaken for being finnish he he he
Manz sounds ‘murican
Next video better be "Mick Schumacher explains his Formula 2 Championship".
Is he Michael Schumacher son? Someone give me truth answer plz.
Always clean Yes
@@f1_headassery thank you very much.
No he is Michael jacksons son
Slight American twang on some words.
It'll be quite special when arrives in f1.
@Starscream_xxx
He doesn't remotely have an American accent.
He has a rather nondescript Euro English accent, punctuated by the odd American twang, and to lesser extent a slip into German accented English on specific words.
waiting for you to explain your F1 wheel
Sounds like his Father, hopes he can get a Seat in F1 soon.
He has such a twang of English accent, love that we'll adopt him as British for when Lewis retires ;)
Please stop burning him
He sound American
He doesn't sound like a German lol
Mick be careful your Brother David could be coming for You!!
Krish Gaur true but isn’t it his cousin
Because David is Ralph’s son
Is cousin Mick Schumacher have one sister Gina
cheesy music wtf
Good driver, but not as talented as his father. Hope he gets a drive in F1 midfield team if he remains consistent
stop comparing them, he's a very good racing driver. Bet its not nice for him to always hear "well you aren't as good as your dad"
Now explain why is he so slow
Unlucky
This guy's English tho
Ehm no he is not...
Blood isn't everything. Mick Schumacher isn't Schumacher just as Ralf Schumacher isn't his brother. Mick isn't good enough, that's not his thing, take your fucking money and give this opportunity to guys like Albon.
Wrong
overrated
Very average driver.
