Alp-46a looks the same as the original alp-46. Any differences between the 2?

Updated electrical technology. Minor exterior differences.

Not any more... they are doing a minor overhaul on the original ALP-46s, part of that overhaul is to replace the steel bells with e-bells. There are a number of 46s running around with e-bells now. The only for sure way to tell which unit is which is by memorizing the roster number ranges and listening to the propulsion sounds.
