There is simply not worthy enough tribute for this show and this is neither worthy. Without any doubt this was my favourite show of the decade. Thank you Sam Esmail for telling this story.

I've said this a thousand times but Mr Robot really was a once in a lifetime show. every aspect of filmmaking came together and culminated into something truly special and i am really glad i got to experience this masterpiece.

Hugh Jass I didn't think so. He had the ending in mind ever since he wrote the original pilot as a movie. Im rewatching it now, and you can see that it was always going that way. There are things in the first season that set up the ending. It is excellent storytelling for a dude who is more interested in character than plot. Endings are super tricky and Mr. Robot has one of the best by virtue of the fact that Sam Esmail knew what story he was telling the whole time. The ending was earned.

I would say,
part 2: The confrontation
as it is a conflict of elliot's personalities throughout the season.
part 3: The reconciliation
as one personality reconciles with the other and trusts completely.

Andrew Brindley I kinda agree with you. Mr Robot is by far my favourite show, but that being said there’s NO WAY I could binge watch it. I struggled to watch one episode a day. But with the weekly breaks when it was airing, it was perfect

I had a friend that told me s2 was dry and i get it to an extent but i almost lost him. he powered through and we watched season 4 in entirity together. I lmost lost him and let me tell you, its hard to get poeple to fan boy as hard as you about a show, but it's even better when it's THIS PARTICULAR SHOW

Everyone can relate to Elliot. Not everyone has DID of course, but everyone feels like destroying things to protect themselves from existing in a world where pain is inevitable.

I didn’t think season 3 could be topped then boom - season 4 made it one of the greatest series of all time
I've been watching a bunch of Sam Esmail interviews and panels and the reason the fourth season is so good is because he knew what the ending was when he wrote the pilot. That pilot was supposed to be a movie, and he had an ending when he wrote the movie. Then it was too long and got turned into a TV show. So the revelation at the end of season 4 is earned. Im rewatching it right now and everything that happens at the end of the series is all over the first and second seasons. Super, super cool.
Bobby Canavale stole the thunder from everyone in S03 and you are right. I sincerely believed nothing could top it off but then boom, S04 and it's officially made Mr. Robot one of the greatest TV series of all time
Personalky I think Season 4 starts off crazy strong for the first three episodes and falls a bit short towards the middle. It gets better during/after episode 6 and 7, but the pacing suffers a bit especially the during 4x10 through 4x12. The 4x07 twist is so close to being perfect it kills me. Definitely could have used one more, honest flashback that is composed entirely of subtext, or maybe a new story from Elliot to Tyrell in ep 4 (kinda like his sister talking about the day she was abducted from the park) to solidify its purpose rather than just be a "take my word for it" kind of thing. Other than that, show gets a 9.5/10. If I had to rank the seasons it would probably go 3 2 4 1. Seriously, I love this show to bits.
I thought S4 fucking sucked. 1-3 tho, even tops Breaking Bad.

It's gotten a lot of attention but for mostly aesthetic reasons. Which is fine and all, it is great art, but it's incredibly weird how people can watch the entire show and somehow still be obedient unquestioning cogs to capital.

When I first watched the s1e4, it was all so very confusing nothing made sense but as the show progressed, it started to make sense little by little and only after the Big Finale you could truly understand what that episode was about, what "You are not Elliot." actually meant. Fucking genius.
I love this show so much, I've never related to a charater more than I have to Elliot. I'm not crying, you are.

Seriously, this shows cinematography, writing, acting...everything is damn near perfect.
Just finished the show yesterday, and boy, I'm sad that it ended, but so happy that I found out about this show years ago, honestly the best experience a tv show gave me in my entire existence, in few weeks I'll watch it all again, and will continuously do that for the years coming, this show became a part of many of us, as it wasn't just a show, it was a special moment. What an exciting time to be alive.

Therapy in a show... This show is definitely in my top 5 and impacted how I view life.
It is so heartbreaking to think that the Mastermind personality knew nothing but pain right from his creation and that everything he did was to help people even though it helped no one. He took the pain to himself and even the worst of it could not break him.
"we hid the key so the monster wouldn't get to us." The key is a symbol also for Elliot, the one who the multiple personalities kept under so that he doesn't have to bear the bad things happening in the world.
Man, thanks for this. I hope this encourages more people to watch this show, it's so underrated. I can only hope they experience what I experienced watching it.

Who’s here to remember how great this show was after being snubbed in the Emmy nominations
The thing that stunned me the most about this show was not just the amount of aspects of the show, but the level of them. It has great cinematography, a great soundtrack, an amazing storyline, insane character development, crazy plot twists, amazing acting and great meaning. Not to mention it had an episode that looked like one shot, and an episode without dialogue bar the first and last scene. All of these things packed into one show, that’s very rare
Nothing captured the dystopia of what it felt like to live in the 2010s like Mr. Robot and for what reason I am thankful.
How I would like to erase my memory of the show just to see it again

This show ...this story ...its just simply a masterpiece
I like that people are now giving this show the credit it deserves. After Walter White, Elliot Alderson probably has the best character arc. Likewise for Rami Malek, who gives a performance of a lifetime. This show is the pinnacle of television and an inspiration of how distinct creative choices can turn a linear story into a true masterpiece.
Mr. Robot changed my mind, this is a revolution. The best series of all time. Thanks for everything Sam Esmail.

I had a hard time letting go of the show, emotionally speaking. This allowed my brain to piece it all together. Looking at Elliot's eye's for the last time i realized, i'm outside his body, he's in control and the point the show kinda drove across was "this only works if you let go too". Mr. Robot deserves a lot more attention than it gets. It is up there with the heavyweights in terms of story writing as well as character writing. The whole cast did exceptional work. It's hard to believe that this was Sam Esmail's directorial debut in the TV industry. If a man's debut show is this great, I can't imagine what this guy's gonna give us in the upcoming years. I sense another genius like Vince Gilligan on the rise.
Ozark is another series that I believe is up there with Mr. Robot that is really underrated.

One of my favorite TV programs to ever bless our generation. What a masterpiece of dialogue, suspense, intrigue, pop culture, and filmography. The series finale was so incredible, that last outro, through the mind of Elliot, all to have the real him come home to his sister that missed him so much.
I know that Breaking Bad is still the best series... but i really, really, really love this series so much more than BB, because it relates to me a lot.
