Funnily enough I've since gone vegan! Access to vegan protein powders really helps me keep carbs limited, and I add a little coconut oil to my shakes to get my saturated fat. I have lysine, leucine, vegan BCAAs and now L-methionine incoming. Vegan gains are very doable but definitely harder on the road!

If you are in India and have to consume a lot of plant/veg protein, go for the following :
    (1) Pulses : Any will do. However, the following will be really tasty.
(1.a) Moong Dal with Ghee tadka
    (1.b) Masoor Dal with Ghee
    (1.c) Rajma with Ghee
    (1.d) Chole (chickpeas) curry
    (2) Nutrela (soyabean) curry. It is known in North India as Chaap. And tastes like meat.
    (3) Jackfruit curry & chapati. You will typically find jackfruit dishes in Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal and other East Indian states.
    (4) Paneer dishes, as you have already found out.
    (5) Litti chokha. If you are in Bihar, U. P, Madhya Pradesh, and Jharkhand.
    (6) Daal puri. It is basically an assortment of pulses stuffed inside Wheat, pressed flat, and cooked with oil or ghee on a frying pan. Its widely available in West Bengal, Rajasthan, Delhi etc.
