      The little things lead to the big picture. Eden Hazard even in his peak doing very well at Chelsea and throughout his career was criticized for his poor work ethic and his talent was well documented but we’ve heard ex teammates of Eden Hazard say that he was the best player at Chelsea by by far the worst trainer there and got away with it because of that talent and he was just too good. Did that catch up with him at Real Madrid it’s another factor as well because as you get older it’ll be difficult to be in peak fitness and form when you don’t train well and unfortunately didn’t reach his real potential because he never pushed himself to be the best and didn’t have that drive of a champion and lacked the mentality required at this level. He had to do that at Real Madrid because when you play for that big of a club especially when you arrived there at the time for 150 million it was a massive step up in his career and it was the next step in the player’s potential but at the end showed little desire to take himself forward at Real Madrid. Injuries don’t help a player and it happens to many but there’s a big responsibility on the player himself for turning up overweight gaining weight and did that at Chelsea every season and was ok with that but it was clear that he wasn’t fit and was always behind playing catch up and he was getting paid a lot and hardly played football even if he’s finally won the champions league there he did nothing. It just shows you how even when you’re at the top you still have to push yourself to get even better he didn’t do that because he didn’t work hard enough didn’t train and was too talented not to put in the hard work and eventually this caught up with him.

    Eden Hazard's shocking fall from greatness has been one of the biggest stories in football over the years and it is probably the saddest fall from grace I've ever seen because 4-5 years ago, he was one of best players in the world during his time at Chelsea a top 10 player in European football and during this period, he was also the best player in the Belgium national team as he was brilliant when they finished 3rd place in the 2018 World Cup and now after his failed transfer to Real Madrid when he flopped and suffered a variety of injuries, he has seen his contract terminated by mutual consent and now he's without a club and at 32 there has been lots of talk about early retirement.
    Even before he went to Chelsea, at Lille he was literally a cheat code a very good left winger and at the time had lots of potential and was even crucial in Lille winning Ligue 1 in 2011 and when he was young he had the potential of a future superstar. In 2012, he made a move to Chelsea where the rest is history for Eden Hazard. During his 7 year stint there he produced some of the best football I've ever seen with world class dribbling unbelievable technique great at creating scored some wonderful goals and he was just unstoppable. He carried that team for the most parts of his career there and you just couldn't stop him he was able to do this every single time take players 1v1 and once he beat his man he would just keep going and do it again and again that's what made him so so good. His incredible performances, he was a crucial player during the Roman Abramovich era where he won 2 premier league titles and a bunch of other trophies FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Europa League. He was a club legend and is one of the best players to have ever graced the premier league. When he made that move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, he was signed to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, and for Eden Hazard it was a step up and was expected to even further his career and take his game to a whole new level after they paid big money for him. Overall, he flopped there and if he stayed at Chelsea he would give them at least 4-5 more great years at the highest level and would still be at his best but a lot has changed in the last couple of years and it's very sad to see someone who was that good have a big drop off in terms of performance and fitness.

    I read this long time ago but the article said that the style of hazard's dribbling style was one of the reasons he suffered from ankle injuries. Fast pace with quick stops with rapid turns like NBA players was one of the factors that led to his ankle injury. When he got his ankle injured for the second time, his surgery was done in USA by a doctor who specialises in doing ankle surgeries for NBA players.

    I remember when I knew nothing about football except the Hungarian one, and those trading cards were a huge success in the country. Everybody brought them into the school to flex them, or trade them. Again, I didn't know too much from the bigger leagues back then. And there were some mini tablet sized cards too, wich is the rare ones, and I remember getting a Hazard one. I tought he was the best. But after this whole trading card thing stopped in my school, since I didn't really watch football, I heard almost nothing about him. Like he dissapeared or something.

    if you check Wikipedia you might wonder, why his game appearance in career is not even 400 like HOF or legendary
    here is somthing i dig more for you:
    game appearance / Goals / assist
    1.Premier League regular season : 245 / 85 /61
    2.Ligue 1 : 147 /36 / 41
    3.Champions League : 61 / 10 / 15
    4.LaLiga : 54 /4 / 9
    5. Europa League : 31 / 5/ 8
    6. EFL Cup : 25 / 8 / 6 ( like the FIFA carabao cup)
    and many more small cup and small number of appearance
    so total is
    623 / 167 / 157
    so from 1 to 6 are major important cup lets see how many he got
    563 / 148 / 140
    from premier league hof requirement, you need at least 200 game appearnce for premier league season ( not including those other cup game appearance)
    i hope hazard can be the HOF, because he is definitely the HOF

    When you start playing ALOT professionally early at a young age of like 17 or 18, you're bound to start feeling the effects nearing 30. Thats clearly what happened to Hazard and it's so sad to see.

    You forgot to mention that Tottenham Hotspur were on the verge of signing Hazard ahead of Chelsea because in the 2011/12 season Tottenham Hotspur ended the season in 4th position in the league which means they qualified for the Champions league the following season and Chelsea were outside the top 4 which means they were not going to make Champions league. BUT! Chelsea was in the Champions League final of the 2011/12 season, Hazard said that he will join the team that qualifies for the Champions league, so Chelsea won the final, taking Tottenham Hotspur spot and the rest is history.

    when you play wih speed, even you have very good dribble skills move and dribbling techniques , this kind of play style wont last long
    for example, kaka , the world best amf, got good speed dribble and long shot
    , hazard is another of them, once you get injured, you wont be super good anymore
    such as Ronaldo Nazario in Milan is a beast form, then when he is in Real Madrid, his beast mode is gone, due to his injury
    therefore i recommand you run while dribble but not full running like this , this is like NBA, you can't play like this, u will get injury anyway, so u need to learn low post , or fade away jump shot for longer career

    Who do you guys think is a bigger failure in terms of not reaching their full potential: Hazard or Neymar? On one hand, Neymar won more major trophies but he also got more talent, so that's kind of expected. Now he's joining a farmer's league in Arabia when he could be on a top team winning big.
    On the other hand, Hazard spent the last 3 years warming the bench at Real Madrid and now retirement looks like a realistic possibility.
    To me, that's a tough call

    • @MustardSkaven
      @MustardSkaven 8 месяцев назад

      Neymar actually wanted to be the top dog but was against tough competition, being shadowed by Messi and Suarez in his Barca days.
      Hazard never cared about being the top dog, he just wanted to have fun.

    • @silva-vini
      @silva-vini 8 месяцев назад

      @@MustardSkaven why join Madrid then? It's literally the most winning-obsessed club on the planet. Playing there requires you to be in your toes 100% of the time. If you're not, you're out.
      I do think Hazard wanted to compete for the greatest trophies at some point, but something went terribly wrong. Either that or he's just incredibly dumb by thinking he could succeed at Madrid with that attitude
