@@aneural First off, there are many no kill shelters. Nobody takes cats or dogs from their "homes." Stray animals are taken to a shelter where they are caged and vaccinated and given food/water. They are cared for more than their previous abusive owners and yes, are given months for a great chance of being adopted. For a better life than them suffering on the streets where they dont belong. Most of those pets are actually given to the shelter by people that understand they can no longer care for said pet, and fully understand the shelters is its best bet. Just like a zoo, its enclosure might not be as big as the world but the animals lives are extended far longer than if they were in the wild.. Being put down in a painless sleep is a hell of a lot better compared to the fate youd deem it to when you throw it on the side of the road, thinking thats ok

Dont say look it up when 90% isnt a real fucking percentage anywhere.
