Why am I watching this I live in Houston
Houston is not like most of these comments. Sure it's not perfect but it's better than these people say. Leave if you don't like it. True Houstonians are very hospitable we are not negative people.
Lmao same.!
Goes to show people how much love we have for our city. Houston Strong 💪🏼
Same. Been in Houston for 15 years now
Lmao🤣
Same thing all Houstonians did...
Shaking your head and wondering why 99% of this list was a load of crap and wishing they would have listed more than the theater district and NASA.
One of our main attraction in Houston is the legendary traffic on i-45, 610 and other major highways.
Underrated comment
yesss😂

Hahahaja ikr
Don't leave I-10 behind

What about Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Menil Collection, Asia Town, Bellaire, The Galleria, River Oaks District, Bayou Bend, Rienzi, and Texas Medical Center?????
Not to mention Houston Ballet, The Alley Theater, the Houston Symphony and The Houston Grand Opera. Fabulous restaurants and night clubs, beer gardens.
Frank Rizo definitely so much more they should’ve included, we have plenty to offer here.
Very true. So much to offer!
And the Mahatma Gandhi district with all the good restaurants.
They left out a lot and even put Buffalo Bayou Park on twice. What about the heights district as well and The Galleria.
These videos aren't put together for information, they're put together for views and ad money. It's literally the only type of video he uploads and he's probably putting recommendations that he read somewhere else.
3:59 oh, you’ve convinced me. I’ve got to visit Houston to see that.
Socially Awkward Darcy LMFAOOO!!!!
Ha gayyyyyyyy

Socially Awkward Darcy lmao 😆
Of all the footage to choose from, the editor chose to put 4:05 in

I was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas. My parents brought me here at 4 years old. Wouldn't change it for any other city in the world. H-Town till I die!!

Houston: strongest city in America. I am a Native Houstonian and I am proud of my city. Great attractions, good, decent and hospitable people.
Elizabeth Rayven tf you mean? Houston people are known to be friendly! It's a you thing if you can't take them!
This dude is lying to you all. This got to be one of the cities with the most toxic people in the world.
@@jonathanromero8631 lol right, they damn near almost kill you with their driving skills
Facts not welcoming people
Don’t come if ya ass can’t handle the heat
Abstract tru dat, I live here so I can confirm that most y’all can’t handle this heat
Silv3R ツ I lived there to smartass
I clicked to see how well you knew my city, you didn’t Buffalo Bayou park was twice, you left off the NRG stadium where we have the largest Rodeo and famous nutcracker market and our different sport stadiums and centers from Minute Maid to the Toyota Center where many concerts and comedy shows have been held year round, the Alley theatre, Navigation boulevard, memorial park, the galleria
Lol being from Houston and going to ALL the places listed I can honestly say the Editor of this video deserves a Grammy. Because once you drive to and visit most of these places you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about!!!😂😂😂🙄
😂😫
Dont forget to wear a dallas cowboys jersey to make sure you get the warmest of welcomes from our Texans fans! Happy Travels!

There is also the Houston Interactive Aquarium and Animal Preserve, where you can interact and get up close and personal with some very rare and majestic animals such as lemurs, porcupines, exotic birds, and even a sloth!
Thanks for this video.
Nice summary of the main location to go if you visit Houston Texas.
I absolutely love my city. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else but having recently gone to places like LA & MIAMI i have to admit HOUSTON doesn’t compare. To be honest HOUSTON isn’t a tourist city like those 2 I mentioned. BORING is the word that keeps popping up in my head & it’s sad cus we are a great city. 4th or 5th largest city but yet nothing really draws u here like LA or MIAMI. I think mainly because it’s usually 1000 degrees here which discourages u from even visited all these boring places mentioned. Like I said I love my city but we aren’t a tourist attraction or the tourist attraction we could be🤷🏾♂️

And the question tht keeps popping up in my head is wht part of Houston are you from??Bcuz clearly your out your rabbit a** mind if you think Houston isn't up to par w/ cities like L.A. or Miami And especially Miami bcuz only advantage Miami has over Houston if you could even call it tht is a beach and we have a beach Galveston yea sure Miami has bluer && pristine waters but thtz abt it Everything else goes to houston we have better entertainment, nightlife greenery, food, culture, jobs education the list goes on And on so perhaps you should get out more often then not Houston is my city born and raised here Been alive for 34 years && Im just now finding out alot abt htwn tht I didn't know before like the underground tunnel and entertainment I dnt think people realize just how massive Houston really is && it's a reason houston is currently leading the southern parts of the U.S. and is in the top 5 in the nation Miami isn't even in the top 10 hell it isn't even in the top 20 it falls way behind coming in at #44th place😎🤷♂️🤘💯
Some of ur post I would ABSOLUTELY agree with u but some of it I share the same sentiments u share for me GALVESTON? The BEACH? And u comparing that to MIAMI & LA? No mam UR OUTTA UR 🐇AZZ MIND. We weren’t talking bout jobs & things of that nature because ur right we got all that but what’s there to tour here? I’ll wait? And plz don’t give me DISCOVERY GREEN & all that. Who wants to take tours here like u would in LA or MIAMI? First off it’s a 1000 degrees here usually so theirs no comfort in doing that without sweating ur AZZ OFF. The galleria is the new sharpstown mall now. And basically everything u can do here is on one side of town. Don’t get me wrong like I said before I LOVE HOUSTON but LA & MIAMI is a vibe🤷🏾♂️
@UCuRalYvOzCXLc8YRqTo_-PA And thtz fine your opinions are superior to only you As I'm also sure there are people tht may even agree w/ you statistically 7 overall🤣However if we're Specking of statistics there's 1,852,158 more people tht would agree && could relate to my perspective as opposed to yours🥱🤣🤷♂️
@@S.west_R3ALHtownSHITT_713 🤦🏾♂️YES MAM😵💫
Awesome job thank you
#10 Buffalo Bayou Park
#3 Also Buffalo Bayou Park Lol..i think #10 is meant to be MEMORIAL Park
Boimah Sambola ikr like wtf
That makes so much more sense!
I thought 3 might be memorial park as I thought the Waugh bridge was part of buffalo Bayou. Never been there though so not certain. Lived here my whole life but Houston is a lot bigger than this video gives the impression.
The video meant to say Eleanor Tinsley Park. Which is technically within Buffalo Bayou park respectively. Memorial Park doesnt offer any paddle crafts. The bayou, however, does.
I need to check out some of the parks on my next visit!
#1 Thing to do in Houston is eat at a restaurant. Great food!
Lmao that’s about it too
Proud to be a Houstonian
im watching this because im going to houston for college there, well my cousin and i are going i hope we get to do these things
There is an underground mall down town that is amazing and so is the Galleria area to if you want to feel like you are in district 12
In my city *Bradford* there's:
1 - The underground *Sunbridge Wells* tunnels with bars, restaurants and shops which were reopened a few years ago, after being closed for 50+ years the
2 - The village of *Saltaire* with it's network of underground tunnels.
3 - The mini neighbourhood of *Little Germany.*
4 - The *Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.*
5 - The *Bronte Parsonage Museum.*
Among other historical attractions.
They make you feel like you're in *Georgian, Victorian* or *Edwardian* England, which is probably why countless period TV shows like *Peaky Blinders, Victoria, Gentleman Jack, The ABC Murders* etc, and countless films like *The Walk Invisible, The King's Speech, Official Secrets, Downton Abbey* etc film here on a regular basis.
Futureproof TX the underground tunnels help you not die from the heat in downtown
Some of the main features of Houston parks are the urban outdoorsman, friendly unlicensed pharmacologist, and exciting purloiners to help you run faster.
Lol
Lol, damn!
Point me to the nearest drug dealer
Best place on earth especially coming from LA to Huston was such a beautiful moments bc it’s similar and a huge city with beautiful beach and nice and warm water and cheap and low rent and many beautiful things
Thanks!
thank you so much
Houstonian here, more like in enjoy sitting in traffic! If you aren't used to the heat don't do anything outside. This is missing a lot of stuff. Was this made by someone not from here? Enjoy the heat!
I have been to the Houston museum and Discovery green and downtown aquarium and the butter fly thing there is even more fun in Houston
I Love "H-Town" Houston, Texas in Fall, Winters & Spring.
I’m moving to Houston by August 2021. Congratulations to me. Thanks everybody 🎊😆🍾
@local bruhman how bro
@local bruhman and where you heading
I’m applying for college in Houston, i hope I get accepted so that I would be able to experience going to these great places
I can't wait to move closer to Houston! I'm in Cleveland, outside Houston, and it doesn't have the vibrant culture and warmer climate.
But it's not Cleveland, TX. Thank God.
Going for the first time next week any advice
thx
Love Houston, it’s very diverse and offers all types of cuisine for any appetite. But, my favorite is smoked brisket, seafood and barbacoa tacos. Plenty of Museums to visit and parks to relax with friends. Greats sports teams to root for #Go_Astros. Great vibe and friendly ppl. Like any city there’s good and bad, but, Houston’s good out weighs the bad. Enjoy Y’alls visit
Where's the best smoked brisket?
My only complaint is the summer 😅
I currently live in Austin, Texas
This is very interesting
I'm going to Houston next month

I’ve walked around downtown Houston when I went
I love it here I live on the outskirts of Houston
So do I but don't enjoy it. Jobs brought us to this concrete city.
Irene Duke I was born here so yeah
I also live here.
⏪Beautiful Houston Home Tours🎥📸‼️‼️
So Buffalo Bayou Park is mentioned twice?? I'm wondering about the San Jacinto Battlefield and monument which is usually mentioned as a major attraction. Is it not mentioned because its in the suburbs? Is the view from the tower and the history worth a visit?
Nice, can you advise exactly what city is that 747 at Clearlake or Ellington Field.
A couple of parks and zoos! U find these anywhere bro =D
3:59 and 4:07 wasnt needed but now im going to the zoo in my city/houston
Buffalo Bayou Park must be awesome. It got 2 spots on the list
Houston might be bigger, but feel San Antonio has alot more to offer when it comes to attractions.
So. San Antonio sucks tho lol. But yes it does have more attractions. My guess is to make up for what it’s lacking ie culture, food, nightlife, diversity. All the things Houston does have.
amen borhter
i go to hermann park like all the time to sleep, walk, work or just chill 10/10
Friends, buffalo bayou park is #3 and #10?? I am visiting Houston next week and am looking for recommendations to visit and places to eat. Be there for 3 days.
I live in Houston and some things didn't know we even has.
I’m in Houston right now and needed to search this up lol
Kabir Momin how was it man?
Really good food was amazing!
The summer time is the best!! Take it from a local. You’ll never experience such lovey weather. It’s just what people need
Marco Garcia its hot and humid as fuck in the summer, but it still wont stop me from going to a cars and coffee
@@yuh2634 going to a cars?
It’s so hot summer time
I’ve been in Houston space center
4:04 very nice
Houston has wonderful diversity and hospitality, coupled with a southern friendliness and welcoming spirit! :)
Absolutely!
Dallas is better
Diverse but socially segregated.
I love my city of houston
#11 ride the metro rail, all day long with the kids, 😂😂😂😅🤣🤠
One major factor I love the most abt my city is how naturally && Aesthetically pleasing houston skyline is &&Unlike cities such as Miami or L.A. Where their backdrop mainly make-up 98% of its skyline L.A's being the mountains && Miami's being the beach Whereas Houstons being all the greenery And bayous running throughout the city basically w/ no backdrop at all Just pure Nature😎🤘💯
Most of Miami isn't downtown. What most people don't realize about Miami is how much greenery there is.
I can think of a bunch of other places in Houston that you failed to mention. The Contemporary Arts Museum, for example. there are also a bunch of restaurants and clubs that you can go to if enjoy the night life, especially in the Midtown and Montrose areas. He also failed to mention that any outdoor areas on this list will be miserable most of the year because of the heat and humidity.
I went to Houston zoo the last year. 👍
GOOD
Omg 4:03 😂
Живём в хьюстоне.очень красивый город.люблю парк мемориал

I live in Houston that’s why
Nelson said this is all old stuff 👍
Houston is just a big city (The biggest city in Texas) Idk how to complete all the Activities in Houston like go to the Airshow, NASA center, Galveston, Malls, Play Golf, Idk what else to put I haven’t done all of the Activities in Houston yet!!
We're also known for thousands of tents in downtown, crackheads, massage parlor and bingo.
I miss Astroworld 😭😭😭
Buffalo Bayou Park , listed twice. 🙄. And yes I live here.
You need to visit buffalo bayou Park twice guys. It's in the video twice.
Doesn’t sound like this RUclipsr actually visited this City (which should be mandatory for making such a video). Having lived here my whole life, my suggestion is to visit this city sometime between November 1 and May 1 when the weather is far more likely to be cool and sunny. Houston is a very internatioinal city and one of our great strengths is food/cuisine. Some of the World’s best Tex-Mex and BBQ is right here. Check out tripadvisor or yelp for suggestions. Original Ninfa’s, El Tiempo, Goode company and Papa’s are my favs. And there are many others. One of our great weaknesses besides our summer weather is lack of a real mass transit system. We have a bus network and limited light rail but most visitors will probably want to rent a car or Uber. Be prepared to sit in traffic on our many freeways surrounded by SUV’s and jacked up trucks. We have fantastic craft beer/breweries all over. Check out Karbach or St.Arnold’s or the many others. Be sure to try some real texas bbq (brisket) and catch some great blues at The Big Easy or many other wonderful blues bars. Bring or rent a bike and ride many miles on our wonderful bike trails that connect many parts of the City (especially Heights and White Oak Bayou trails). Or catch a baseball//basketball/football/soccer game at one of our wonderful sports stadiums. Take a trip 60 miles south to Galveston if you want to see the ocean, Gulf of Mexico style (flat, all sand, not much surf unless storm approaching). As video suggests, we have wonderful museums and parks too. Crazy hot humid climate makes for great parks and botanical gardens. Also makes a great breeding ground for mosquitoes so buy some deet if here anytime near summer. Take a tour of the Port of Houston if you want to witness a big part of Houston’s economic engine. The zoo is wonderful and definitely worth a visit. People here are from all over, some are absolutely wonderful and some should pack up and go somewhere else. Houston welcomes you regardless. Y’all take care now.
Exactly,I agree
Mark M forgot about the tunnels under downtown
I'm not reading that
Honorable mention greenspoint
I live in Houston to
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the Wells Fargo building the tallest skyscraper in Texas?
Aston Kruger no it’s the chase tower just a few blocks away from it.
@@fofoish777 Thanks! 👍👍

🧐Should I feel some type of way for living in Houston for years and to have never visited half of the places mentioned in this video
I know, right? I've only been to like 3 of these places lol

What about the carnival that is one of the main things
The only thing you can talk about Houston is the fact that the traffic is bad and how good the place is🤚🏽
Weather sucks it feels like an Arm pit !
If you don’t wanna be somewhere without no water around to be in because it gets REALLL HOW AND ITS HUMID AS HELL DOWN HERE, here’s some other options.
We have Kemah Boardwalk
Pleasure Pier
The Galleria Mall which is the most expensive mall I work/be at which have any name brand place you can think of from Lv, Fendi, Chanel, Micheal Kors, you name it is there and the mall is so big that the further you walk it gets empty 😂😂😂 And they have Lush the bath bomb place there, and if you watch Love And HipHop rasheedas store is there also sometimes her mother is there.
Yeah you forgot the frustrating traffic, that’s why I left it
Out of everything you could have put from the Zoo you choose this...4:05
Don’t come if you can’t handle the heat lol
Too
#11 Watch out for the bipolar weather
The beer gardens are the shit in houston... we have plenty. If them Lol . Our craft beer ...
Theatre District? Hahahaha! It's tiny. However, there are (spread throughout the city) more stages than any city outside of NYC.
Be prepared for the heat and humidity.
If you're looking for good taco and or brunch spots, ive got a video for that ;)
Am I the only one who noticed Buffalo Bayou Park was in here twice? #10 and #3
