For those who watched Zack Snyder's Justice League, this scene makes more sense now.

I hope to god they pick up where Snyder’s justice league left off. There is an actual plot line now. I have investment in this storyline. That movie saves the dceu in my eyes.

The Flash sequence is REAL. You can see the papers flying about even after Bruce woke up. That is no mere coincidence.

When flash warn Batman in bvs, flash realize he is too soon going back in time where Bruce doesn't even knows who is Louis Lane and the Armageddon still doesn't happen, so flash he go's back again and remove the timeline where he warns Bruce in the first place, thats why they show Bruce waking up for 2 Times, but flash doesn't realize he is creating alternative timeline, he actually doesn't remove the timeline where he warns Batman, he just created new timeline where he doesn't warns him

- Batman and Cyborg Sent Flash to use the Cosmic Treadmill to go back in time to warn Bruce of the upcoming events
-Darkseid and evil Superman ripped and destroyed Cyborg
-Batman is the last Surviving member of the JL and leads the remaining human race to fight against Darkseid
-Batman’s crew Tries to get the kryptionite to kill Superman first but instead green lightbulbs to Batman as he is betrayed his crew has been killed and Batman is outnumbered and knocked unconscious
-Batman and his crew are held in a bunker where Superman kills his crew and rips Batman’s heart out

Justice league time travel doesn't work that way. It doesn't create multiple timelines. It's more like Tenet or Primer's or Harry Potter 3's time travel. The timeline remains same. You just reverse things to go back in time. Outcome may or may not change.

For those of you who don’t know what’s going on in this scene, Barry Allen (The Flash) comes back from a future where Superman becomes evil because of Lois Lane’s death. He warns Bruce Wayne (Batman) about it, and telling him to save her before it’s too late, but The Flash went too far into the past to the point where Lois is not even in danger from whatever or whoever kills her!

I love time travel scenes like this where the character who time travels pops up in a previous movie before they’re established. It gets the viewers thinking and it helps build up to the eventual moment where they actually go back in time.
This makes me therefore wonder, based that this movie was 2016, followed the following year where Bruce actually first meets Barry, then what year would the justice league movie where we see flash going back in time to warn Bruce have been released…

I need a figure of this flash. I love how the speedforce is pulling Barry back and he’s trying his hardest to stay and warn Bruce of what Superman is capable of at least that’s what I interpret this scene being
If you look at Barry's outfit, it's the same style as the Knightmare desert-themed suit that Batman was wearing in his nightmare.
Its actually not its mor like the injustice suit but if u look closely at his hand thats not cloth its actually the speed force distorting him and reality around him because if u look around him as he disapears evry around him looks distorted and bended

no it's probably the last back up plan of batman to make sure that Knightmare won't happen. He knew that one of his soldiers was going to betray him to the Regime. So he set out a plan to get the Kryptonite which he even knew it was going to be fake. While setting up that plan, Bruce set out Barry along with Victor to time travel as early as before Lois dies. While Batman dead in the future, Batman in the present had already an idea what to do, to keep that future from happening. This is just my assumption.
Maybe he dreamt the future. And considering we saw those winged freaks I’m guessing this all was a vision seeing the justice league movie

There is an endgame level plot coming, and I hope to god we get to see it come to its conclusion.

When I first watched this scene in IMAX theater, this scene literally gave me full on goosebumps because we witnessed the birth of a Batman who is finally ready to take on the role to gather and lead the Justice League... And as far as I know, none of the Batman on the silver screen has ever been able to do that, so imagine how powerful this scene is..
This scene is enough to explain how visionary director ZACK SNYDER is.....

Meanwhile, Superman was slaughtering Cyborg, Mera, Joker, Deathstroke and eventually Barry himself. Batman survived to fight another day, only to be captured by Superman's soldiers and the Parademons and get executed by Superman.

@@clkgtr12 I gotchu. Before the Snyder cut, many people(including me) were confused about what is the scene about and all that. But now that the Snyder cut has released, the scene makes more sense: in the knightmare sequence in BvS and justice league, we see visions of some of the justice league heroes die to darkseid. We later see a scene where Superman is holding a charred body, which would be Lois lane in the batcave. You can tell it’s in the batcave by the background and how there is a display case with robin’s suit in it, from where we saw it in the batcave in BvS. And in the knightmare sequence in justice league, we see Superman holding the body and see darkseid, now armed with the anti-life equation and the power of omega beams, would put his hand on Superman, making him lose all emotion and become darkseid’s servant. Also in the scene, we see joker in the car, talking and implying that he killed Lois, which also happened in the injustice league game series. So with all this information, you can now see the importance of the flash scene since he is running back to time to stop this sequence from happening and warning Bruce about it, though he is too early for it. And in the knightmare sequence, they are fearful of Superman since he would kill them, leading to a branch in the timeline where darkseid wins and heroes are no more.

Dude, I absolutely love this scene. It gets much explained in such little time. Most people got that flash was sending a message to bruce, but this scene also explains the speed force a little. The speed force in the dceu seems to be more active. In which I mean, It doesn't just let time be disrupted by speedsters. It actively tries to stop them. As seen, Flash was being pulled back, presumably by the speed force. So it seems that the laws of the speed force are more strict in the dceu than the dctv or the comics
NotTheBeastInUs kind of like gravity. U can throw a baseball in the air and gravity pulls it back down. Dceu Flash can enter the speed force and time travel but he gets pulled back/ feels resistance as he tries to reach his desired time/ destination

@Narkay Not exactly. Snyder shot two movies in 2016, enough for over 5 hours of an assembly cut. It's being reported that he filmed HIS version of the JL movie AND the compromised version in order to please Geoff Johns and other WB suits. That's why we'll be getting Superman in the black suit, because they physically filmed Henry Cavill in the suit (DP and Cavill himself said so). Plus there are major story beats that are different like Silas Stone, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Darkseid.

After watching The Flash movie, I can bet that this Barry in that speed force time bowl/dome thing and he peaks out to talk to Bruce but he may be fighting with somebody in the bowl/dome and that is keeping him from choosing the right time to speak to Bruce. Crazy how this is all connected man.
I doubt that, the dome chronoball wasn’t an idea of Zack Snyders. We literally saw the flash time travel back in ZSJL without the chronoball, so he’s definitely not doing in BVS.

Snyder had a magnificent crazy vision for the DCEU, somehow setting up both 2 Justice League movies about Darkseid and a third one following the Injustice storyline in just a few scenes of Batman vs Superman. True shame how it all went down in the end

After Flash realizes he is "too soon". He has to correct what he said and let Batman continue to believe that he has to fight Superman so he doesn't mess up the time line. The Flash always seems to either go back in time too far or not far enough.
Dream or not I'd still beilve he saw it and it was real.

The story is the knightmare universe in his visions where Superman becomes evil after Lois’ death as you know. Though that was prevented in the Snyder cut as of late. Well he knows she’s the key is what I mean the original plan was for her to die in justice league 2

When Bruce wakes up from his ‘dream’ there are papers still flying about the room. A nice little creative touch to tell the audience that it wasn’t just a dream or a vision.
Holy shit this looks so much better than the cgi in the flash movie. What a disappointment this bunch of movies turned out to be man.
Man, the movie makes so much sense after watching ZSJL. Zack really had it planned well, moving eventually to the Injustice Storyline and then rewriting the timeline via Flash.

I'm pretty sure it's a plot where Darkseid kills Lois. It makes Superman vulnerable to the anti life equation, forcing Superman to become evil.

Woodpecker's Pass I know he did, but thats kinda hard to happen now when he is *SPOILER* dead and the Justice League movie is probably gonna be Bruce and Diana asembling the JLA and then teasing Darkseid so I don't see the problem in them hinting an event like Injustice this early as Marvel has been doing the same with Thanos for awhile now, and DC isn't starting from the buttom like Marvel did with Ironman so I think it actually suits the series

After The Flash, this scene makes much more sense! Probably Flash was being hunted by Superman or even Reverse Flash on JL II and probably that's why we hear a painful scream. And makes even more sense now why every ending vision of Darksied's victory we see a Blue-Light on Earth, meaning Flash is always connecting to that check point to save all team, and now makes more sense Batman sacrifice for Lois Lane, all the events are tighted to him.
