I admire interviewers like that. They get a lot more out of the person they interview than those who clearly show their feelings, like disgust for example, to the interviewee. Andrew also has a very pleasant voice to listen to. All and all his content is very nice to listen to while doing chores or laying in the bed before sleeping for example.

    I've always said that John Travolta didn't believe in the cult. That interview on a film set he did, and was asked about the cult, I've said since that John looked so uncomfortable and I could see he was lying. I thought what have they got on you. I mean, the fact that John has gay has been known for years. Is it this kind of stuff that keeps him trapped?what a pity he doesn't do what Leah did and do a tell all bookefore the cult could et a chance. I'm sure people would get behind John.

    • @charlisays
      @charlisays Год назад +16

    • @courtneymcgregor3417
      @courtneymcgregor3417 Год назад

      @charlisays exactly. The thing is that it's probably something that others wouldn't even care about. I know that the cult pulls out sexual issues regarding the big Hollywood names. As I said, it's probably nothing in the grand scheme of things, but something very personal to them.
      Then there are the likes of Juliette Lewis and Michael Pena, who are full on Scientologists.
      I personally don't understand those who join later in life and not born into it. The whole Xenu thing etc has been ridiculed for years. Why would a normally, well adjusted functioning person start going to a cult like that, based on a science fiction fantasy?That part I've never understood. That's been public information for many years. Those people made a conscious choice to join a cult based on science fiction fantasy

    • @usedscar

    I worked for sci. as Dir-RAM for a short while, not because I was a scientologist, but because I needed a job and a floor whereon to sleep, and at the same time wanted to investigate what sci. was about. We used to be aroused at 1 a.m. to put addresses of folks of our acquaintanceship on envelopes for solicitation. At length I started to walk out "He's blowing -- TR-4 (rubbing arm, I think it was TR-4)".
    I decided to wait until daylight before blowing, then was requested to see an auditor (I forgot his name but he was picked for his post as the "last resort" for keeping members from blowing because he was more endearing than any of the others). It was hard to escape from him, so after I think a few days I just blew without telling anyone, so I could avoid any more auditing.
    I used to beat the e-meter by thinking lovingly of my ex-girlfriend.

    Hypnotism at its best in the right environment/s! Making the hypnotic state stick for a while is the trick in that one maintains said hypnotic state willingly as long as possible until it wears off and you need/crave more hypnotism aka auditing, drills, word clearing, cramming, damn! What a trip!

    In 1980 I was un-housed and the sidewalk Scies wanted to recruit me despite my situation. It's a long and terrific story. I entered the building and took tests and left a couple of signatures on their paperwork. 1980. Now: I am not making this up. I receive Scientology magazines in the mail in 2023 because I signed and printed my name in 1980. The magazines are full color glossies.

      Wow, that happened to me also. I certainly didn't sign a billion year contract or anything but I bought a few books, signed a form (that I read) and quickly determined all they wanted was my money. I just can't believe that no matter how many times I move (and that's 10 x more than most people!) I will eventually receive mail from scientology, usually something regarding Sea Org. It's super creepy and stalker ish that they find me to send mail after decades! Ugh, yuk. They should be shut down and most definitely pay taxes! The IRS let themselves be bullied by these nut cases. I understand because the individual employees were being harassed by scientologists but it's time to open an investigation and come at them full on, with experience this time, and expose the truth and make them pay taxes. It truly is not a religion, definitely a cult.
