- Many people are interested in joining the Military and therefore, as an ex-recruiter, who have over come so many different hurdles to get people enlisted, I decided that it was time to shine a little light on the process from the perspective of a recruiter. Now, I am an Air National Guard recruiter and therefore, the processes is a little different then the Air Reserves, Air Force Active Duty and other Branches and states. HOWEVER, the foundation is same.

Thank you very much for this information, especially the officer section!
Sounds like a neat gig. You post 9/11 military got it made. Wow. Nothing close to these benefits when I served in USMC in 82-85. I'm kind of a bit jealous.
Wages haven't gone up in more than 2 decades...what the hell are you talking about
@@dranzer2545 That's in the private sector, military/federal jobs aren't the same story. Their wages haven't been stagnant since the 70's. After 9/11 military-(wo)men really got a pay and benefits bump too, sadly not the case for civilians.
@@-ABC- Yeap
Where is the podcast--you mention it at 14:10 mark in this video--that relatives specifically to becoming an Officer in ANG? It's been a real struggle to find information. Thank you.
I trying to join active duty but im thinking of gaurd intil i graduate highschool for active duty, im thinking of doing Security Forces and the reason i want to join is to serve.
If you want an Air Force life, go active duty. If you want to stay a civilian, go Guard or Reserves. Both an "innocence" to your civilian life.

Ayyy, you should try these kind of videos with you being seen while talking!
