For me, verbal guidance. with some poses, I can get too relaxed and spend more time in them than others without a cue from the instructor. either way, your routines are always what I need. thank you Tim.
I love your videos and I'd say I prefer verbal guidance so I don't have to look at the screen again and again. And your voice is so good to hear, it's like a melody. It has a calming effect on me. Thank you for making these yoga videos❤
Tim, dude, your videos have changed my life and this morning after this euphoric practice I felt compelled to comment again. 2018, been skateboarding my whole life, mid 20s and I can no longer skate as my lower back blows out after 15 mins on the board.. I was devastated. fast forward 6 months and I'd been following your practices every morning and voila! I can skate again all day with 0 back pain - it was a miracle! fast forward to now, nearly 4 years of your using your videos to start my day every morning and despite working from an office chair and having high torque/impact hobbies like skateboarding, tennis and golf, my body feels better than ever and for lack of a better word, so reliable!! this video was absolutely amazing for releasing my legs after a hard 5 hour skate in the sun yesterday - legs practically went numb during the practice and feel incredible afterwards. I've built up a playlist of my favs of yours over the years and this is going straight in there!! So again, from London, UK, thank you so much for all that you do - came for the yoga, stayed for the jokes 😄💚
I know you made this video a few years ago Tim but I still love it and do it in my hotel room when I wake up. I did a very long run on Sunday (19 miles) and with all the driving, flying and sitting, this is perfect to stretch out to.
Namaste and thanks so much for the perfect way to en my day. I had zero energy and this helped me feel more relaxed with a calm energized feeling way better than how tired and cranky I was right before the practice!! 👌🏻☺️🙏🏻
On the Tijuana side or on the San Felipe side. My friend and i used to drive down from Los Angeles to enjoy the atmosphere. As for the practice, this aged, creaky soul derived great peace and inner freedom, even though he couldn’t do all the poses to perfection. All very positive, however.
Tim, this is the first class I've done of yours. I am looking forward to doing more! I consider myself an intermediate yoga practitioner, and find a lot of online classes spend too much time explaining and not enough time actually showing/doing. I love how you have your two other Yogi's with you to show the different modifications that everyone can take, and I also deeply appreciate your use of Sanskrit!
This was a short flow but it definitely wasn't rushed, which felt great! It will definitely be one of my morning favourites! Thank you, Tim, for doing what you're doing 😊
I miss seeing new videos. Are you finished posting new ones on RUclips? Fortunately there are a lot of ones already here and I appreciate you so much. I understand the need for the paid membership, but it's not an option for me as a senior on a fixed income to add it in. Thank you for the abundance of videos I can access now, but would like a new one every now and then. You are my number 1 Yoga Teacher.
Hey Tim. Greg here. I have a question you've probably answered before, so apologies in advance if you get this one a lot: what brand or brands of shorts do you wear in these videos, especially the videos from the past year or so? I've struggled to find shorts that, looks-wise, are a step above the gym shorts I've always worn for yoga, but not something my dad would wear to have lunch at the golf club (what my mom calls "dress shorts"). I realized I usually like what you're wearing in these videos. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video. I was looking for a shorter video just to stretch and you just uploaded it. Perfect timing for me. The verbal guidance was great. Hope to see more videos like this.
Hi Tim, I did this post a short strength work and really liked it. The best part was the neck stretch and feeling that down into my fingertips. Many thanks.
Thanks Eliza. Glad you like them! I have a number of short videos available for those days where you're not feeling quite up to it or you’re running short on time. In your Google search bar type in ruclips.net/user/yogawithtimvideos On the opening page - under the red SUBSCRIBE button - there is a magnifying glass icon. Click on this icon. Type in 15 minute Then you’ll see all the 15 minute and 20 minute videos available.😉
Tim, please make a video for kids 6-12 ages. My kid is so into yoga but I don’t find anything as crisp, clear and no-nonsense kind as yours for kids. Please do it!
Thank you for the video. I really liked the idea of having 3 different levels of flexibility shown, but unfortunately the camera angle meant that the person I was more like, I think her name is Bridget, was obscured most of the time. I really wanted to see her posture in Half Splits etc but couldn't. I hope the camera angle can be adjusted in future videos.
This is a technical challenge for sure. What I will say is this... If you can't fully see the model you're most identifying with, just watch me as I'm also doing a modified version of the most extreme version.
I enjoyed this very much, I feel nicely stretched and centred. Proves that even when you can only fit in a short practice, it’s worth doing 🙏🏽 Thanks Tim 👌🏽
I work seated all day. At the end of the day my lower back is killing me. Would these stretches help with this bad back pain as well? Or are there other stretches that would be more beneficial? Would love some advice. Thank you so much! 🙏
Hey Jane, Check Tim's playlists for the BMS challenge, and on Day 17, there is a video for back pain. If your back is killing you from sitting all day, you should also check your setup to be more ergonomic, and also, get up every so often and walk, if you don't do so already. Hope you can find some solutions soon. 🤗☮️🌻
Thank you so much for your response! I am doing some of these like taking breaks as often as I can and walking, but nothing takes the pain away like yoga for me. Will check out this video. 😊👍🙏
Hi Jane. Sorry you have back pain. I know what a bummer that can be. I would suggest looking up yoga for back pain on my channel. I've posted a few videos in the past that deal with this issue. I would also suggest taking it easy on back bends if that hurts your low back in any way. So, if updogs are too much, stick to doing cobra instead or you can skip it altogether. I hope this helps!
When I try this with my right leg bent left leg out if I bend over at all which I don't, the inside of my right knee hurts, is there any stretching I can do for this location
If bending over makes it hurt you may be applying too much force on the joint, and it isn't ready for that. Focus on sitting up straight and letting the knee drop over time, breathing deeply and staying calm. Then try stretching forward just slightly after a few weeks of this. Going forward, I’m happy to provide answers to your personal coaching questions on the Conscious Movement Community (CMC) site. Just send me your message on the CMC chat feature. Hope you dig this video. Would you like to see a silent stretch video as well? Or do you prefer the verbal guidance?
For me, verbal guidance. with some poses, I can get too relaxed and spend more time in them than others without a cue from the instructor. either way, your routines are always what I need. thank you Tim.

More to come! Thanks for the feedback, Robert 😊
Thanks Tim. I would love to see more of these maybe specifically focused on post-certain exercises (ie post-run/post-bike/post-swim, etc.)
You bet, Amy! Ok, great! Thanks so much for the ideas, love that! 🙏
I know you made this video a few years ago Tim but I still love it and do it in my hotel room when I wake up. I did a very long run on Sunday (19 miles) and with all the driving, flying and sitting, this is perfect to stretch out to.

Ha, Ha! Any shorts will do but I tend to like Vuori, Outerknown and Alo. Thanks, Greg.
Loved it. Done at the end of the day when I felt like a headache was on its way but now I don't even remember that feeling :)
Good to hear! Thank you, Martina.
