I had the opportunity to meet Ric a couple of weeks ago at the Steel City Comic Con in my area. Ric was awesome. He was very nice and totally made my day. I got to chat with him a little bit and ask what he thinks of Triple H taking over creative. He said he thinks there missing a couple of guys, but he said he's enjoying the product. He was a class act and very gracious to me. I'll never forget it. Thank you Ric for making my day. Your truly a true legend of pro wrestling and one of my favorite wrestlers ever.
It really is such a sad thing to think about. The fact that he found his son dead in the room next to him. Say what you want about Ric and who’s he been but that it just a thing to happen to someone that is so horrible that it should never happen o a person.
This is the first I’ve heard this story. It really is a neat thing to have done for his son. But also a super classy thing for HHH to do in giving him another ring. That’s one of those things that a true friend does for someone. And the fact I had never heard it til now shows that he never broadcast it to anybody.
On Ric Flair"s 2002 WWE run he would set another record in the sport oldest WWE I C Champion, so Verne gave Flair a first chance and Vince a second chance, but to us NWA NC fans the NWA and JCP made him a star, go NWA and JCP one more card together.
I wonder if Conrad kinda took a harder approach to do the show this time around. And what I mean by that was told Ric that if he wanted to do this again, and wanted Conrad to be his cohost, that he had to take it more seriously and commit to it instead of what he did last time. When they had their previous shows they had a nice run on the first version but then they moved it to a new platform and it didn’t last for very long. And Conrad said that basically Ric got bored and didn’t want to do it anymore. But at that time Conrad was only doing Bruce’s show so it wasn’t the issue to his schedule that it is now. When you see all Conrad has going on these days I could see Conrad basically being blunt and saying that if he was gonna devote the time to doing this that Ric needed to approach it differently. But I enjoy it a lot more when rics in the game on it.
Jesus Ric....you still have a place in the business. You should have never retired. You should be a manager. One thing that has really died that was great was managers......Jim Cornette was the best. You can do that....and be damn good at it.
Tell us more about the bachelor party! Who was on who's lap? And how many times? If Randy went, did he lick someone's face again like he did in the Evolution entrance video?😀
It was time. Vince as great as he was out of touch with today's genre. Hunter is much younger and is able to connect with the younger audience/talent and the shows have proven it. They're much better to watch, not much of the hokey s**t you would have seen in the end of Vince's era.
Here we go again, "woe is me, no one talks to me anymore", this seems to be a weekly thing, maybe Ric should work out the common denominator in his failed friendships and take a look in the mirror

@Ted Cox You obviously don't know him. 8 AM after a night of partying is more like it. He never slows down, even to this day!

He’s way up in age. Hell, I fall asleep numerous times during the day on my days off. I am just 51 years old.
Heavy night for Rick lol 😆

I thought it was really cool.

Ric probably and Paul probably fell out over ‘The Man’ and Ric not staying sober after he nearly died.

Is Ric hungover here?
The reason Triple H, as a young wrestling fan, idolized Ric Flair, was because Flair proved it was possible to succeed with an enormous nose.
