Hi folks, I see a lot of people asking, but yes, I did indeed write this story myself. Thank you all for the incredibly kind words, and know you have all been heard! More dinosaur horror stories on the way.
Damn the potential variety of these stories is awesome and I love how you incorporated actual speculative behaviors into how the carnotaurus behaves and hunts and I love how you set in South America where Carnotaurus is actually from I’d be cool to an underwater type setting next, maybe a family out on a vacation yacht gets attacked my a Mosasaur or some other aquatic reptile or creature?
@@anjastrauss3398 spinosaurids have for a while thought to only eat fish but there are some who now view them as opportunistic predators that will eat anything (when it comes to spinosaurus especially no one can agree on anything) So perhaps there could be a story like this, a group of African soldiers or rebels gets lost in a swampy jungle after fleeing a battle and are picked off one by one by a spinosaurus
@@enderethan144 yeah cause if it happen in the night all the suspence that he was building in the start would not have the same effect (less impacting)
@@fantasyfan10 I'm sure she somehow made it, granted that riding horses are generally faster than the Carnotaurus, and there is a Guanaco herd that the Carno would probably prefer to hunt rather than wasting more energy on a faster and harder to catch type of prey.
@kiebawhy1730 Dinosaurs are still reptiles, there's no way that the Carno would have all the stamina to follow her back to town. It had also established a territory so I don't think it will bother going beyond its range when it had an ample prey list.
The first one inspired me to write my own about a deinonychus pair attacking a family on vacation at a cabin! This one is absolutely amazing! I love how you incorporated and described the parts of the story. It had amazing visuals.
I can't imagine how much trauma Ella will have after this. She'll not only be able to see a massive reptile without thinking of the Carnotaurus but she will not be able to step foot in that field again without thinking that Carnotaurus coming after her. Honestly, the most scary dinosaur story I've ever listened to.
The best part is that the last scene explains why they found the remains in the state they were in. Horrifying that the method of killing of a lama type animal is so similar to the last kill, especially as they are roughly the same size. That gave me chills, watching it all come together like that. Such a fabulously written story!
I love the longer storys, I watch your shorts commonly but this time I HAVE to give you props for the amazing writing and story telling, and the possibility of a sequel also being there too, really shows your potential as a writer, AND a content creator as a whole. 10/10
This story in my opinion was far better than the first one you wrote(not that the fist one was bad) but I think you reallly did improve on this and it truly does show.
@@KingofTheGojiras I think I prefer the first one because of the tension and the behavior of the Trex. The Trex in that one behaved more like an animal. The carno here was a bit too blood thirsty. It had just eaten a Guanaco, it probably wouldn't hunt the humans. If it then ate a human, plus the Guanaco earlier, it literally would be full just from the Guanaco. There is no way it would chase the horse for a mile after. Then it also eats a horse, why would it care for the humans when it's already full to bursting and has a horse kill to eat later. It really doesn't make any sense, lions don't pursue prey when they are eating or when they already have a kill. The first story featured the Trex give up after the potential prey caused too much damage, much more realistic.
@@duitk yeah I don't disagree with you on that, I just think the the humans stood to much of a fair chance against the rex in the first one, and in this one although there are some weird monster movie moments witch definitely make it a little more unrealistic. Overall the humans are at a complete disadvantage and helpless against the carnotaur witch I liked more about this one. I think dinosaur horror is at it's best when the characters are at a complete disadvantage and have no way of defending themselves but I do agree with your critiques.
@KingofTheGojiras yeah, actually I think it would been better if we didn't get the whole Guanaco thing, it would been terrifying if they were just riding their horses through the forest and then the Carno ambushed them completely out of nowhere, no bad gut feeling just instant death. If the area did not have plentiful prey either then it would have justified the carno hunting them down.
Megaraptorans were scary as hell. Unlike most other theropods, which relied mostly on their jaws to subdue and dispatch their prey, megaraptorans used their powerful arms to subdue their prey, along with their massive claws.
Maip and utahraptor would be crazy but imagine a tiny atrociraptors ripping you to shreds while you can't do anything but their not big enough to kill you with one attack so you have to feel the pain as they rip your guts out
