I really wish we had more information on some of these creatures, like where did the giant t-rex come from? What was Rudy's life like? Etc. All of these creatures are very cool in their own right whatever they're accurate or not.
The funny thing is that Kong's species was hunted nearly to Extinction by the V-Rex, V-Rex was already king of Skull Island during and after the events of the 2005 King Kong movie. The territory where are the more experienced adult V-Rexes typically hang out, was pretty far from Kong's territory. In other words Kong was lucky he didn't end up fighting the some of the V-Rexes that killed his species.
As I recall they weren't that badly matched against the V Rexes as adults, but they bred slower and the children were the ones most vulnerable, the Kong lived in the highlands but as the island was sinking I think this is what forced them into more conflicts which spelled their doom as a species.
As far as I can remember, that infected sauropod in Primal was the ONLY enemy that the main characters did not actively engage. Spear and Fang were running away from that sauropod.
I hate that the velociraptors got watered down so much. Its probably a product of universal wanting to be able to make as much merchandise as possible, which you need a face character for ig. They really were horrifying in the original movies and it would’ve been awesome if they had added in utahraptor into the mix later on.
Sharp Tooth was probably my first real fear that I remember. My parents let me watch JP as soon as it was released on video when I was 1 or 2 years old. They said I screamed as soon as the raptor attack in the opening scene occurred 😂 so they shut it off. So even though I don’t remember it (or even remember the first time I really watched JP) I’d say the raptors were probably my first real dinosaur I saw in media.
@Lawson Kennedy I'd say they're at least more frightening than raptors. Though dying by a raptor attack can be brutal, the thought of becoming a motionless yet sentient nest is very unnerving. Even if you manage to survive the initial strike, it's only a matter of time before you're doomed anyway. The sound of a nearby Troodon was enough to scare away a herd of Dilophosauruses (or dilophosauri, whichever). Even other carnivores are aware of how frightening Troodon can be. Nocturnal, swift, and venomous, the Troodon can likely defeat most of the other dinosaurs listed in this video, especially since they never hunt alone. It's almost like facing a herd of Night Feeders only without such a quick death. Also, after some research, I had to correct my spelling to "Troodon" instead of "Troudon".

Some dinosaurs to cover in the future. Mama Scarface - Turok A female tyrannosaur estimated to be almost 100ft long, if not larger. She has an incredibly thick hide allowing her to brush off both bullets and rockets. she had a large scar on the right side of her face rendering her blind that came from an unknown creature. she holds a personal grudge against the main character for killing her young and hunts him for hundreds of miles just to kill him. One Eye - Dino Crisis 2 A tyrannosaur that lost its eye to a missile to its face and holds a grudge against the humans who shot him. this tyrannosaur can hunt for days without rest and is tough enough to withstand multiple tank blasts. it was as fast in water as it was on land, as shown by its ancestor. The Mutated Giga - Dino Crisis 2 A Giganatosaurus that made its home in an abandoned missile silo and was exposed to radiation that caused it to grow larger than normal. the roar was so loud that it could burst eardrums. it was also strong enough to pick up a fully grow tyrannosaur and throw it hundreds of feet. it survived a warhead's explosion and had to be killed by a powerful laser from a satellite's orbital strike. this creature had amazing senses as even when it was blinded by the warhead's explosion, it could still track the location of any prey no matter where it was. infact, one report from soldiers who encountered this Giga say that it's extremely rare to view it and live to tell the tale, as even when seeing it at a distance, it can sense you and immediately chases you down. even if you see it miles away, it still knows where you are, just like SCP-096, that can find anyone anywhere in the world if they see its face and immediately begins searching for that person. Biosaurs - Dino Crisis 3 Created by an AI named MOTHER to be living weapons for an invasion of Earth, these creatures are genetically engineered. DNA samples taken from dinosaurs and mutated to have superpowers, such as emitting powerful bolts of electricity and several other abilities. one has a hydra-like power to grow new heads next to the heads it already has. it was so powerful that the only way to defeat it, since it was strong enough to withstand lasers meant to destroy spaceships, was to send it hurling into the void of space, never to be seen again. Trinity - Dino Stalker (Dino Crisis 4) A raptor with telepathic abilities allowing it to control other raptors. this creature was genetically engineered. Black Pit - Dino Stalker (Dino Crisis 4) A massive pitch-black tyrannosaur. this animal was over 100ft long. it was so powerful that no other predator dared to challenge it and immediately fled if they sensed it nearby. however, this tyrannosaur could sprint at incredible speeds. its hide was so thick that it brushed off missiles meant to shoot down planes. your best chance of survival is to not be in the same area when it's hunting. King Red Eye - Starfox: Adventures Still the largest T-Rex in video games to date. estimated to be 200ft long, if not larger. this tyrannosaur was highly intelligent, to the point where he wore jewelry on his head to show his status as king and even gave orders to other tyrannosaurs. Sauron - Primal Rage A god tyrannosaur awokened by a meteor impact in modern times. he is immortal, but can only remain so by eating. so, he commands hundreds of humans to be sacrificed to him every day. Diablo - Primal Rage A demon tyrannosaur awokened the same way as Sauron. he is pure evil. he rewards the most evil of humans and tortures the weak.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the JP3 Spinosaurus, also the Dino Crisis Giganotosaurus, and the Hypo Dinosaurs from the Isle, Hypo T. Rex, Hypo Giga, Hypo Spino, and Hypo Carnotaurus. Other than that, this was an excellent video. 😊
I don't get why no one thinks before saying that the ultimasaurus would be stronger then the indominus rex. 1. It has less dna composed in its genome. 2. With that armour it would be quite slow and won't be able to swing it's tail much without falling over dew to ballance issues. And 3. Its not even as inteligent as indominus rex and probably wasn't as big as people would say
I know why these weren't on the list, but the strains of genetic mutations from The Isle, the dino survival game, are terrifying as well! If you make a part 2, you should cover them! The ones we have in game so far are the hyperendocrin (hypo or type-h for short) strain, focused on brute strength, raw power, and thick armor, and the neurotenic (Neuro or type-n for short) strain, which are centered around scionic abilities, stealth, and speed, being able to create EMP blasts, go invisible, and echolocate (they have no eyes). There is a mysterious third strain that very little is known about, and I don't remember it's name
The Sharptooth was my first bit of nightmare fuel. The chase scene in the thorn bush terrified four year old me. The Hell scene in All Dogs go to Heaven was the only cartoon scene to scare me more
Little fun head-cannon for me, I like to think Jurassic world scientists used Carcharadontosaurus dna as part of the indorex and that’s what gave it its sleekness and spines
Scorpios/Indominus Rex, Indoraptor, The Night Feeder, The Plague of Madness, and the Alpha Tyrannosaurus are the most malevolent of all that are on this list.
If Ingen had made that ultimasauras (assuming it ate meat), it would have been way too heavy to actively hunt. With all that armor, horns, spikes, and of course size it would have weighed 8 tons minimum, probably closer to 12 or 13, and a even higher max weight. Far too slow to run down prey substantial enough to feed itself. But it still is fun to wonder.
I honestly always thought there might be some human DNA in the Indominus, and my main evidence is that it is smarter than most raptors, and it has a thumb, something none of the dinosaurs or creatures in its' genome possess
also I'm surprised the Spinosaurus from JP3 didn't even get a mention, since it went out of its' way to chase down a small group of humans for hitting it with a plane, and the thing actively hunted down Rexes, so the thing was malicious and absolutely petty
The Ultimasaurus reminds me of the Hork-Bajir from Animorphs, an alien humanoid saurian covered in blades, used as mind-controlled slave warriors by the antagonists. Turns out they're peaceful herbivores with the mental capacity of a 5-year-old.
Ultimasaurus would actually be quite unbalanced (literally, it would be pushed over easily) and medium-sized, and unable to use its weapons effectively. Source: Gojicenter, they did a whole analysis video on it
I think the Sharp Tooth is horrifying because imagine being one of the most successful predators on Eartb and your the size of the same guys who are in the same family as Brachiosaurus Top that with cat like agility and durability that would make a military tank envious and you have a terrifying creature
I created a dinosaur called the Scorpionapsid, it is less dinosaur and more monster. It has an octopus’s ability to fit into small spaces or even shrink itself. It is usually about the size of the indoraptor, it is a master of stealth and disguise. It has long sharp spines for protection and 4 eyes so it can see more and be harder to sneak up on. It has long razor sharp claws that can cut through almost anything. It has posable thumbs for grabbing prey. It is capable of running 90 mph on all fours. It can jump 16 feet in the air. It has long sharp toe claws that with the help of it’s extremely powerful muscles, can even smash through ankylosaurus armor. It can swim extremely well and it can stay under water for 6 hours without air. It also has a large scorpion tale that it stings victims with, its capable of killing seven whales. It has the ability to remember everything. It loves to play with its prey and even times itself for how long it takes to kill them. It’s only weakness is its spines in its neck, pulling these spines up causes its brain to literally burn up, so much electricity flows to its brain that it sets all the other organs on fire. But good luck even getting to its neck because it is covered with an oil that makes it to hard for predators to pick up. Horrifying right.
The plague of madness is in it self horrifying, but an infected argentinosaurus is the most horrifying thing I could imagine like there is also something similar to this in DC zombie scenario that the flash that became a zombie is killing everything and superman is the only one who can stops him so superman do so and got infected so I have a special fear of the strongest becoming a threat.
Fun fact, the reason why velociraptor was terrifying in the Jurassic park trilogy was because of the new discovery back In 1991. Two years before JP was released, there was raptor that stood out than the others, and that was the Utahraptor. They were around the size of a human being, more humongous than the regular Velociraptor. This beast was the biggest raptor when it was discovered. They hunted Iguanodons and Therizenosaurus. It doesn't get any worse, these dinosaurs were extremely intelligent. They would strategize when hunting their prey. so the Velociraptor you see in Jurassic Park is based on the Utahraptor, the real JP Velociraptor
If it was so smart, then, why didn’t it eat it’s dead companion also if the Indominus broke out then how did they keep the Ultimasaurus in? It also I am too scared of primal, so I skipped ahead.
For me, the top contenders for scariest dinosaur in media go to: -The _Carnotaurus_ from Disney's _Dinosaur._ -Sharptooth, from _The Land Before Time._ -The Big One, from _Jurassic Park._ -_Vastatosaurus rex,_ from _King Kong._ -The Alpha _Tyrannosaurus,_ the Infected _Argentinosaurus,_ and the Night Feeder from _Primal._ -The _Troodon_ from _Jurassic Park: The Game._ Honorable mentions would go to the _Indominus_ and _Indoraptor_ from _Jurassic World,_ which were cool but a little too sensationalist for my taste; the Plated Sharptooth _(Giganotosaurus)_ from _The Land Before Time V,_ for being the only Sharptooth from the sequels to really harken back to the menace and terror of the original; and Rudy, from _Ice Age 3,_ for being surprisingly very foreboding for a kid-friendly movie.
8:20 my best guess is that the night feeder is some kind of natural bred hybrid with and uncanny mix of maybe Baryonyx and therizinosaurus due to the extremely long claws
And then we have Gorosaurus and Titanosaurus, two dinosaurs as large as or larger than Godzilla and (probably in Gorosaurus' case) even physically stronger
Carnos: definitely scared me. Ultima: crazy concept that I wish they flushed out more. A-rex : I honestly thought it was a ceratosaurus because of that horn. Sharptooth: Scared me as a kid like the carnos, just the eyes creeped me out. I-rex: Was interesting, not scary, but wish they flushed it out. V-rex is a cool way of doing some sorta spec evo. I-raptor: if done right it would’ve been terrifying (like how it was shown off in that one trailer during the Super Bowl. Plague of madness: literally gave me chills when the sauropod literally screamed as it turned to ash. V-raptors: scared me as a kid when I watched Jurassic park. Night feeder: another thing from primal that creeped me out.
Let’s throw all of these lively nightmarish dinosaurs in a battle royal and let’s see who’s really the worst of them all. (Excluding plague of madness. That thing is just a scratch and your dead)
There’s a difference between predators and monsters. Predators do what they must to survive, monsters are tyrants that destroy everything in their path. Almost all of the killers on this list are monsters
I remember visiting my grandparents house when I was like 7ish with all my cousins and there wasn’t much kid friendly stuff besides a DVD player and me and my cousins weren’t old enough to want to socialise so we just sat in front of the DVD player. We put ice age three on and I was terrified of Rudy because I’d seen it before and whenever he came on screen I would just leave the room to “go to the toilet”. I was terrified of him. Me and my girlfriend recently went to there’s on the way home from uni and my oldest cousin was there with his 5 year old, and he was doing the exact same thing.
The way Rudy appeared in Buck’s story through the clouds and those piercing glowing eyes being seen goes so unreasonably hard
Rudy was the embodiment of Black Air Force Energy

Trinity - Dino Stalker (Dino Crisis 4)
A raptor with telepathic abilities allowing it to control other raptors. this creature was genetically engineered.
Black Pit - Dino Stalker (Dino Crisis 4)
A massive pitch-black tyrannosaur. this animal was over 100ft long. it was so powerful that no other predator dared to challenge it and immediately fled if they sensed it nearby. however, this tyrannosaur could sprint at incredible speeds. its hide was so thick that it brushed off missiles meant to shoot down planes. your best chance of survival is to not be in the same area when it's hunting.
King Red Eye - Starfox: Adventures
Still the largest T-Rex in video games to date. estimated to be 200ft long, if not larger. this tyrannosaur was highly intelligent, to the point where he wore jewelry on his head to show his status as king and even gave orders to other tyrannosaurs.
Sauron - Primal Rage
A god tyrannosaur awokened by a meteor impact in modern times. he is immortal, but can only remain so by eating. so, he commands hundreds of humans to be sacrificed to him every day.
Diablo - Primal Rage
A demon tyrannosaur awokened the same way as Sauron. he is pure evil. he rewards the most evil of humans and tortures the weak.
Such fantastic villains! Each of them powerful and terrifying in their own right! Good video!
Two other dinosaurs that are incredibly powerful are, The Beast from Speckles and Black Tyrannosaurus from Dinosaur King.
*Hyperendocrin. Everybody still says "hypo" for short though. Hypo means beneath or below while hyper means beyond, excessive, or above normal.
@@Tar-Numendil thank you for the input, editing now
The V rex from King Kong (2005) gave me the chills when I first watched the movie as a little kid.
The Sharptooth was my first bit of nightmare fuel. The chase scene in the thorn bush terrified four year old me.
The Hell scene in All Dogs go to Heaven was the only cartoon scene to scare me more
Ultimasaurus looks like what wouldve happened if the Xenomorphs landed during the Cretaceous
A creature if the future made from pieces of the past. Oh that line gave me shivers.
Rudy and the indominus rex were the most memorable in my opinion.
I am supriced jurassic park the game troodon didn't make it onto this list, those things where walking nightmare fuel.
Little fun head-cannon for me, I like to think Jurassic world scientists used Carcharadontosaurus dna as part of the indorex and that’s what gave it its sleekness and spines
Ark giga,ark charcha,ark spino,ark titanosaur,ark rex,ark anything:🗿💪
Scorpios/Indominus Rex, Indoraptor, The Night Feeder, The Plague of Madness, and the Alpha Tyrannosaurus are the most malevolent of all that are on this list.
If we expand to all prehistoric life, we can probably count the Kaiju Liopleurodon from Walking with Dinosaurs
If that thing was real it would be the undisputed (as far as we know of) top predator of all time.
You should talk about the giganotasauras from Dino crisis 2 it was an absolute monster and it was gigantic
Ark Giga laughing in the corner:
I honestly always thought there might be some human DNA in the Indominus, and my main evidence is that it is smarter than most raptors, and it has a thumb, something none of the dinosaurs or creatures in its' genome possess
also I'm surprised the Spinosaurus from JP3 didn't even get a mention, since it went out of its' way to chase down a small group of humans for hitting it with a plane, and the thing actively hunted down Rexes, so the thing was malicious and absolutely petty
Sharptoothe was a great villain from on of my favorite movies growing up
Hey thedinofax, do you think you'll talk about the four-legged theropod in 65 when it comes out?
I love your channel man a great job
Ooooo a video I didn't expect to see this evening
I would watch a dinosaur movie all about rudy just to see how malicious and brutal he would be
I swear to god that plauge of madness ep gave me a good amount of trauma
The Ultimasaurus reminds me of the Hork-Bajir from Animorphs, an alien humanoid saurian covered in blades, used as mind-controlled slave warriors by the antagonists. Turns out they're peaceful herbivores with the mental capacity of a 5-year-old.
If the Disney Carnotaurus was huge imagine a Disney T-rex
Ultimasaurus would actually be quite unbalanced (literally, it would be pushed over easily) and medium-sized, and unable to use its weapons effectively. Source: Gojicenter, they did a whole analysis video on it
Oh there's some plenty of dinosaurs in the monster hunter franchise, some can fly and some can use fire as a breath weapon.
I now need a battle royale between these monsters
My money is on the zombie Argentinosaurus
My bets on the ultimasaurus
Plague of madness gives me chills everytime I think about it
Godzilla: I see I'm not on this list...Someone's house is gonna get stomped.
I think the Sharp Tooth is horrifying because imagine being one of the most successful predators on Eartb and your the size of the same guys who are in the same family as Brachiosaurus
Top that with cat like agility and durability that would make a military tank envious and you have a terrifying creature
Please make a video on the venatosaurus, american lion, Arctodus, dire wolf, and andrewsarcus.
For me, the top contenders for scariest dinosaur in media go to:
-The _Carnotaurus_ from Disney's _Dinosaur._
-Sharptooth, from _The Land Before Time._
-The Big One, from _Jurassic Park._
-_Vastatosaurus rex,_ from _King Kong._
-The Alpha _Tyrannosaurus,_ the Infected _Argentinosaurus,_ and the Night Feeder from _Primal._
-The _Troodon_ from _Jurassic Park: The Game._
Honorable mentions would go to the _Indominus_ and _Indoraptor_ from _Jurassic World,_ which were cool but a little too sensationalist for my taste; the Plated Sharptooth _(Giganotosaurus)_ from _The Land Before Time V,_ for being the only Sharptooth from the sequels to really harken back to the menace and terror of the original; and Rudy, from _Ice Age 3,_ for being surprisingly very foreboding for a kid-friendly movie.
one eye and the beasts from fire mountain: Im about to end this mans whole career
Fun fact: InGen used Majungasaurus’ genetic material to create Indominus Rex
Which explains why she ate her own sibling
@@dino-boy0155 Well, yeah, but many dinosaurs were cannibals, Majungasaurus is just one of the more popular ones.
@@PillocksAnimationCentre I know
@@dino-boy0155 K then 👍
Let’s throw all of these lively nightmarish dinosaurs in a battle royal and let’s see who’s really the worst of them all.
(Excluding plague of madness. That thing is just a scratch and your dead)
Image if the Indominus Rex was given Pteranodon DNA and had wings given it the ability to fly, it would literally be a Dragon at that point!
There’s a difference between predators and monsters. Predators do what they must to survive, monsters are tyrants that destroy everything in their path. Almost all of the killers on this list are monsters
These are how the Beast Pirates should have been in One Piece, scary and intimidating. But got goofy shit.
This video: **exsists**
Arthroplerua: am i a joke to you?
I know arthropleura is a giant millipede, but still
Ohhhhh great heavens¡
EDIT: these creatures were terrifying half weren’t even hybrids.
Man, just wait until he finds out what a Deviljho is.
Indominus Rex👑🥇
What's the music you use for these videos?
Didn't add the hypos that's crazy
fun fact the Vastatosaurus Rexes were a family group composed of a male in his prime, an elder female and a juvenile male
also the most glutton as they would chase down humans even if they’re already feasting on something more substantial.
The nervous system is the weak spot of zombies like what we saw on Primal, take the brain for instance.
I literally had nightmares about the Disney Carnotaurs back when I was a kid soo...
Yeah, checks out.
