The T-rex is one of the most powerful animals I can think of. The titan is a 9-10 tons, 40ft long 14ft tall carnivorous apex. With the eyesight of a hawk, sense of smell of a blood hound and a bone crushing bite of 14000 psi and a possible IQ of a baboon is terrifying but amazing at the same time. Truly fantastic!
Technically even smaller, I believe while many of the more famous specimens are about 40, a lot of Tyrannosaurs average more around the 38 range, including Stan if I remember correctly.
It's funny how many times they tried to dethrone the King since the '90s. "It was fluffy" , "it was just a scavenger", "there are bigger predators than him". Except, as time passed, all those statements were not only proven wrong, but solidified his status as the biggest and most powerful predator ever

It's hard to put into words the sheer majesty of the Rex. Literally the most powerful land predator species to exist in the ENTIRE history of planet Earth. That's a title so incredible it's hard to even imagine .. it's made even more shocking when you look at how long it took for each Rex to reach full maturity. Surely, most of them died before adulthood so the fully grown Rex had to be an absolute killing machine

It would be amazing if we could go back in time and see one in person. I bet when adults werent hunting, they were pretty chill. The juveniles would be the ones i wouldnt want to deal with.
It’s amazing the informations we have about the T. rex has turn them into a jack of all trades. Best eyesight of any dinosaurs. Different growth rates for preventing competitions. Fitting not only in Apex level but also in midsize predators levels for those juveniles. Possible social animals but also a solitary animal. Great sense of smell. Powerful bite, can change their growth and metabolism depend on harsh environment and foods. Truly a magnificent animal ever existed.
Ironically enough, Jack Horner was among a group of paleontologists who pushed forth the hypothesis that Stygimoloch and Dracorex may have actually been Pachycephalosaurus at different stages of growth, not too dissimilar to what we currently know about T. rex's forms during its growth.
