Came here to say this! He has consistently been one of my favorite designers- he almost never misses. Van Noten is a master at blending print, color, & texture in unexpected ways, so am expecting these to be reflective of that taste level. That said, I was expecting more unusual mixes to really embody the eclectic energy of the house, but will settle with the 2 or 3! There is a store in LA! Looking forward to getting my hands on a couple of these after I get the discovery set. These seems very on brand for Dover Street and Ssense.
Dries Van Noten is very avant garde couture...there was a shop in Vancouver that sold his stuff and it was usually very out there clothing! I'm very intrigued by these perfumes and bottles!
Looking great without the hat. I am most intrigued by the DVN Cannabis Patchouli. This is quite an undertaking to have each fragrance created by a different nose.💁🏻♂️
I’ve just sampled about 4 of them. Raving Rose has strong similarities to Atomic Rose. I was especially wowed by Jardin de L’Orangerie and Soie Malaquis. Jardin is a very beautifully executed orange blossom soliflore with just the right amount of sweetness (which beat Kilian LDBS and Roja Reckless by a mile). Soie Malaquis is a gorgeous gourmand. Straight off the bat, you smell the richness of the chestnut with the sweetness of the cacao. In the opening, the blackcurrant and rose just add a hint of juiciness to it. It’s amazing. It’s where I wish the dry down of Masque Milano’s Madeleine went but didn’t. Everything is very well balanced. I’m very impressed so far.
Before I saw your video, I walked into Saks 5th Avenue. The store clerk introduced me to Rock The Myrrh first. Sprayed it on my wrist. All day I kept smelling my wrist. When it calmed down, my wife was like please pick it up. Rock The Myrrh will be the first expensive cologne I buy. For men it’s the best.
The packaging alone makes me want a bottle. I'm going to purchase a discovery set from Saks so that I can figure out which one to add to my collection.
The bottles look fabulous for the most part and the fragrances sound interesting. I do have the original Dries Van Noten that I purchased from Frederic Malle a while back and have always enjoyed it.

I'm so excited about these! The bottles are absolutely GORGEOUS and several of the fragrances have piqued my interest, i really hope i can get my nose of them
I stumbled upon this upcoming fragrance collection .... somewhere ... (?) can't remember where ... recently, and found the bottles stunning as well. Fragrances are comprised of many notes, and usually at least a few of those are the standouts, so why not have a bottle that captures that duplicity or collection of notes? Wonderful idea. If the fragrance quality matches the appearance of the bottles, they're going to have a winner with this collection. I was excited to see your take, nice job! Btw: My guess is that Voodoo Chile, Chile would be pronounced like child, without the 'D'. The description on the site talks about how this fragrance is inspired by Jimi Hendrix and his popular song Voodoo Child. (It's also one of the most intriguing scent profiles to me).

Would be interesting to see you review some of their fragrances. Very niche and obscure from what I have heard!
I feel like when your gonna spend 300 dollars or more on a fragrance the bottle should make you feel luxury and that’s why reviews are important so you can know what’s inside is luxurious as well.
Just got my discovery set!! The cannabis one is one of the most true cannabis scents I have ever smelt. My favorite is rock the mhyrr, omg it's so sexy. I am a woman, I would wear it but if a man would wear this... Pfieuw it would be good

I just bought Soie Malaquais and it’s going to be a staple for winter! It smells like tart black current mouse desert with cocoa dusted on top! So good!
The bottles are so beautiful and I can't wait to sample them. For now, the discovery kits are unavailable, but I am really interested in Fleur du mal, Rock the myrrh and Soie malaquais, so I hope to get my hands on them soon. Thank you for the video!
Just put myself one the list for Cannabis Patchouli and Santal Greenery. Some other ones look interesting as well but I will start off with these and see how they perform. I'm really hoping those caps are magnetic but it doesn't look like it.
Certainly artistically styled presentation. Really liking the colours, but in all honesty, they look a bit cheap to me. Ever since 2020, I've been noticing a distinct trend toward (understandable) cost-cutting in the presentation department across the board (not to mention the switch to gourmandish aromachemicals). Not a huge deal really, so it's interesting to see the unique ways in which brands attempt to spin their new stuff. Incidentally, I'm looking forward to trying Guerlain's new Epices Exquises. In french, it sounds awfully like "a piss and sneeze." 🤣 With coffee.

I think the bottles are inspired by his clothing since he uses a lot of color blocking similar to the bottles desigh in his fashion. Nevertheless the bottles look amazing and they are refillable wich I find very important when brands put more thoughts into their bottles.
Wow..these do look and sound amazing! I bet there will be some real surprises with some of these. If I had to choose two that I am most interested in smelling- I think I'd have to choose Jardin de L' Orangerie and Soie Malaquais...I think they will both smell Delicious yet Floral in two completely different directions! Soie Malaquais sounds the most intriguing to me. Although unusual, the combination of notes does sound like they'd work well together in my mind.

There is another fig-esque fragrance by Liquid Imaginaires called Ile Pourpre I'm interested in. Looks like they have it at ZGO. Have you tried it?
