Always good to remember that not all turbulence is visible to the radar. No water, no indication. The so called Clear Air Turbulence. So always keep those seat belts fastened to avoid having the plane's ceiling hitting your head.
Very accurate description, its exactly like that, the ceiling is the one that comes down with the plane while the passengers keep traveling ahead by innertia.
@@sukhoy precisely!
Thank you! Please keep these awesome videos. I thought about your work when I flew on Emirates 777-200LR last month!
Happy to support you if you need it in any shape or form!
This channel is pure gold
good explanation and animations . Thanks
One of the most amazing videos I have ever watched. I need to use some graphics of the engine in your video.
You can take screenshots as per your requirement.
Yes, go ahead.
Amazing video and great channel! Is the distance travelled by the plane after the first ping is sent out to when it receives signals back negligible due to the radio waves travelling at the speed of light? Which is why the formula is divided by two
Yes, it is negligible and safely ignored.
@@AircraftScience Nice. Thank you!
Welcome!
Useful information, thank you 😊
Thank you so much
Watching this after having spent the whole day avoiding weather 😅
Bravi!!,video bellissimo
Thanks 👏
thank you
Welcome!
Poorly researched and written, ai voiced rubbish!!
how does the radar detect turbulence? at a guess can it recognise cumulonimbus clouds?
Radar cannot detect turbulence itself, only moisture. Convection, drafts, windshear, unstable air and turbulence are all products of the moisture that radar sees. The pilots can extrapolate these related phenomena from the moisture they see
why there is a fqggin aesa radar that is used for just weather
Thanks for sharing.. good for review knowledge during PPC..
Great explanation and very interesting
Well described... Thank you....😊
