- An afternoon walk around Inverie on the Knoydart peninsula, stopping off for a few refreshments in the most remote pub on mainland Britain, (I kept thinking I was on an Island). Back to the camp site I'd stayed at a few years ago to see the changes - that loo!!!

A lovely wee place with a nice sunny day, I wish I lived there. When were you last there Iona? I liked the Old forge Inn and the view from that big window was amazing. I also liked how the names of the builders and fundraisers names are on plaques on the bar. So you're welsh Irish as well as Scottish lol. I love this place, great video Iona. ❤
@daviemcf this was filmed the 2nd week in July this year, how lucky was I with the weather, was so good and just luck. The old forge is pretty cool and the story behind it all makes it all the more interesting and appealing, you should go for sure. @@IonaMacinnes The nearest I got to Inverie was a tour boat to the entrance to Loch Nevis where we were fishing but one day I'll get there for a pint or two. 🙏👍.
Oh my how did I miss this?! What a beautiful day Iona! This was my 2nd 'visit' to Knoydart, Ruth Aisling walked from the end of the longest dead end road, I'll recognise it now when I finally get there! I love ferries that will be my method of transport, 20 yrs ago I might have walked! Subscribers are building, no wonder, your videos are just gorgeous! xx

@@IonaMacinnes Mull is on my to visit list. I was thinking about going in September to wild camp on Ben More and hopefully catch a nice sunset/sunrise. Fingers crossed the midges aren't too bad there at that time. Hope you have a wonderful trip, have a great day too and don't work too hard.
