May be a little bit strange, but I'm actually a huge fan of In Times New Roman. It's a unique album and has a lot of funky stuff going on, another reason I like Era Vulgaris so much, and a lot of the songs do feel genuinely inspired and really fun to listen to.
Me too! It definitely got better and better the more I listened to it and I thought it was a significant improvement from the release before it. Thanks for listening!
Lullabies is a criminally underated album. I may be bias cause it was the first Queens album I ever got (picked it up second hand for a tasty price though due to people undertaking it😎),. It has so much to give- it's even got a guest appearance from Billy Gibbons! 🤷♀️
Mike. Another great list. I almost wanted to stop listening throughout and put on each album as you were reviewing it. I pretty much agree with alot of what you have to say in your review. But right now, Songs for the Deaf is my favorite album of their's
QOTSA may not be in my Top 3 bands of all-time (Smashing Pumpkins, Primus, and Rush), but they're one of the few bands in history that doesn't have a single album I dislike. I didn't care too much for Villains in particular when I first heard it, but even that one has grown on me especially with "Re-Born Again," "Hideaway," and "The Evil Has Landed."

I like their first album most. Closest material to Kyuss.
"First it Giveth" is my favorite Queens song and nobody seems to know it... it's just ferocious
Definitely one of their most underrated tracks in my opinion. Thanks for listening!
I've always loved it. It giveth exactly what I need to take my earholes to their Happy Place 👂💗😁
I am his student

Thanks for listening pal! It’s a great discography to explore for sure

Yeah I’ll have to give Villains a few more listens and see if something clicks eventually. Thanks a lot for listening!
What you said about Lullabies to Paralyze is how I feel. It would be better if it didn't follow Songs for the Deaf
If you dont already have tickets to see them on their tour, buy tickets. One of the best live bands right now!!
Yep I saw them this past summer and it was incredible!
Villains songs are good, wrong producer. Hear those songs live and you'll know what I mean.
