A contributing factor to the very low CGC census count for these pence copies is the perception that they aren't worth as much, so are less likely to get submitted.
However, if your hunch is correct and more people come to understand the genuine scarcity of these copies, we'd see a pronounced uptick in the census numbers, bringing them more in line with their actual approximately 1:20 scarcity.
It's worth noting that Chuck Rozanski at Mile High has been putting a premium of around 30-40% on British variants for some time now. You and Chuck are still ahead of the game at this point!
