When you create a Gmod and deliberately lock normal functions of a game behind a $2-8 wall what have you done to expand the gameplay you only took inputs the original game made and slapped a $ sign to it. More over the casinos in those games all have issues you can win yes, but you are against a computer code made by the developers to either keep you in a constant loop rather than pure chance. There isn’t a Gmod server that’s unique it all uses same presets and models within the game to exploit a mass amount of money. I don’t like Roblox for example but even their UI and systems have grown over the year along with pay-to-win but atleast there you get something unique.

Or are most of these running at a loss with disillusion hopes to be making money sitting at home with no real skill or career goals? With donations, sometimes this is a full time job, yes they aren't mega rich but if you own your own server machine and you are not renting, you are making passive income. Remember with Gmod Servers, if it isn't worth it, it would not be used, that's why all these VIP and donation options exist because the owners and select staff (Certain admins who are friends with the owners) make a cut, while the non owners are not going to be rolling in cash they are still making a decent bit for doing effectively nothing and like i say the owners of these servers can live their life in a pretty neutral fashion "Play games all day and not worry about work" Also don't forget a lot of staff are unpaid, like i say unless you are best friends with the owner and you have skills to make money, 99.9999% of the time staff are payed with "Ingame" items
