This ride hits almost everything I love in a Disney dark ride, good atmosphere, immersive, a good length, and great theming. Definitely the best version of the attraction
This looks amazing and would be really awesome to experience it in person :) Peter Pan has always been one of my top favorite Disney characters and I alway make it a point to go on the ride whenever I visit Disneyland. Something about it makes me so so happy. Even though this version of the ride is stunning, I'm happy with the one we have in Disneyland. It's a classic and the way Walt himself envisioned it. I wouldn't want the authenticity of that to go away. As well as all the other classic Disney rides. It would be a dream to get to visit all the Disney parks and experience their versions!
Wow, that was interesting. It was definitely a unique feeling watching the ride go through and being able to point out all of the differences between this and the Anaheim version. Even though I grew up with the Anaheim version, I will admit that this version is executed in a better fashion with updated technology and a longer run time than the original. Very nice.
It's beautiful, but comes up short. I wish we got to explore Neverland a little bit more like the Florida version, with a visit to Mermaid Lagoon at least!
Wow this is way better than Disneyland's version. Peter Pan's Flight at Disneyland was closed for quite some time last year. The week it reopened I rushed to that ride first as soon as the park opened only to wait in an hour line anyway. I was expecting there to be new effects and or sets only for it to be the same old ride. Sucks! Just a few subtle changes.
Actually the version that we see now is much from the 1983 expanded version other than the original 1955 one so its not over 60. All I was mentioning is I thought they would have added something new just for the fact it was closed for sometime. Matterhorn has been around since 1959 and they added new tech to the Abdominal Snowman. Anyways.
Eh, I don't think so. I really love what they did with the original Disneyland's version, but to be fair they wanted to keep original to the old ride. That way they could pay homage and still add some awesome tech. But unfortunately, this would not let them overhaul the entire ride. Of course, this one blows it out of the water, but the original one in Anaheim is nostalgic. :)
Definitely the best Peter Pan ride I've ever seen! Beautiful use of technology, totally immersive, and it leaves out the incredibly racist native Americans. Totally stunning! The only problem that might arise is it won't be able to load as quickly as the one at Anaheim or Orlando because it isn't on an omnimover system
I dunno, this one looks shiny and all, but I think it relies too much on projections. The few remaining animatronics aren't as articulated. I remember as a kid looking down in awe at the mecanical model of London, and wondering how they made the cars move and what the clouds were made from. Does a bunch of projected animations do the same thing for kids today? They can see animations all the time everywhere, like on youtube :)
Bad video - blurry, not focused. You should always ride it once or twice to familiarize the scenes, then pick a seat to capture the best of any ride. Thumbs down for bad quality.
WOW...this is MUCH different than the original version I grew up with as a child in Anaheim...very interesting variations, but given the recent updates they did on the original version, I still prefer that one...but this was VERY interesting to see, many thanks for the upload...;)
That projected water splash effect at 2:06... nice detail.. cool!
Oh yeah I hadn't noticed that splash before
Subtle, but adds to the whole immersive part of the ride
It reminds me of all the ride refurbs, I love it.
The beginning with Peter outside and then going into the nursery is perfect.
This ride hits almost everything I love in a Disney dark ride, good atmosphere, immersive, a good length, and great theming. Definitely the best version of the attraction
this is better than any other Peter Pan ride
Walt Disney world needs this so bad. It looks like it's much higher capacity and much cooler to boot!
Shanghai Disney is definitely the most technologically advanced theme park ever built. All the classic Disney rides created on a much higher level.
Shanghai has got some cool but i gotta disagree... Tokyo DisneySea is FAR more advanced.
Agreed with you Elle J. I've been to Tokyo Disneyland, and boy was it amazing! Next time I'm going, I'm definitely going to DisneySea
It makes sense that it would be more advanced if it's newer than the others, especially in America. Shanghai park opened in 2016.
NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL A DISNEY RIDE! ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL
Geez! So much better than Disneyland's version!! Awesome!
According to wikipedia the most updated version of the ride at Disneyland is from 1983. The Shanghai park opened in 2016.

This is amazing. My goal before I die is to go to all the disney parks in the world.
Wow..... Disneyland and Disneyworld have alot of catching up to do!!
That ride would have been my dream come true as a little boy and erm kinda now too
Always loved this ride.
Very nice Disney Shanghai. This ride is a true classic at American Disney Parks.
I’m not crying, I’m just sweaty with respect

This ride looks amazing and way better than Disney worlds
日本と描かれてる場面が違うし、映像も乗ってて興奮した!絶対乗りたい…
Poor Nana 🐶💗
SERIOUSLY cool!!
Very cool, thanks for sharing this!
It's beautiful, but comes up short. I wish we got to explore Neverland a little bit more like the Florida version, with a visit to Mermaid Lagoon at least!
que padre!!

日本と違う!
乗ってみたい!
you can fly version is just like the finale of disney dreams from Disneyland Paris

Actually, Anaheim's ride is not an omnimover system, either.
One of the best!!!!!!

The native americans are probably the most important part of peter pan.
The Wasdye yeah I wanted them in the ride also
they have that one in Orlando to
1:05
Definitely a lot better looking than in Anaheim, even though the first version did not have much innovation back in the 50s as they do today.
Why is the image blurry? Is it an HD thing?

unpaidpiper , I agree. Projection is just lazy and cheapens it.
The quality of the video looks like an old Super8 movie film
So pretty
Fun
kudos.. better than Singapore. expensive like nobody business!!!...
I thought it would be English version
This is the one in Shanghai. With the exception of some of the music used, nothing in the new park is in English. It is purely Chinese.

Is much better than California version
Certainly an improvement on the Magic Kingdom's outdated version.

lol
This ride always has a long wait but it's bull shiz
how tats more technologically advanced than your house
