im guessing thats the conrtol tower for the ride since they are usually placed in those kinds of areas could have hidden it better ....i might be wrong of its just a view point to see the animatronic like they did the with sleeping beauty castle for the dragon underneath like they did with disneyland paris ......but i dk i could be wrong again
Yeah should have a had a hidden camera so that they could see it that way instead of a window or have it the whole ride computer programed to know when to drop the rafts
