      In Shanghai right now, ExpressVPN is having issues. I am using "Astrill" and it has yet to fail me. Everyone else with Express in my group have had problems getting expressvpn to work on their phones and stuff. This is not an ad for Astrill, just saying it has saved me. (Side note, NordVPN doesn't work AT ALL here in China, don't buy Nord for China, you have been warned)

    I'll be going on 16th Sept 2019 which falls on Monday since I have almost 14 hour layover from Hiroshima. Now I just realised that the weekend before which was 13th-15th is China's mid autumn festival (3 day public holiday). I'll be going just 1 day after that. You reckon it'll be least crowded since everyone's back to work or it'll still be busy since everyone's still in holiday spirit?

    To be honest, I don't think Shanghai Disneyland in China is as Special Needs-friendly in the same way as Disneyland or Walt Disney World in America. However at least in Japan, Accommodations for guests with special needs only recently became available at Tokyo Disney Resort. 😭😭😭😭

    Hi! I need your help with obtaining a China tourist Visa in the USA.
    I don't have a Chinese Consulate in my state.
    Is there an online visa service?
    "You may entrust someone else to drop off your application at the consular office of the Embassy" is NOT an option for me and I know Mailed applications are not acceptable.
    Which agent did you use, if any?
    I want to go to Shanghai Disneyland for two weeks and no other stops on this vacation.
    I'm writing you because you visited Shanghai Disneyland and hopefully can recommend a good agency or online visa service.
    Thank you so much in advance for your assistance! :-)

    We're in Shanghai for 6 hours(layover) and wanted to stop by Disney for a few hours so just experience and get a few pictures. Do you think its enough time to get there, take some pictures and get back to the airport?

    • @tdrexplorer
      @tdrexplorer  5 лет назад +1

      That'll be tight, so you're best taking a taxi there and back. Make sure you have all the appropriate documentation to get the 72-hour visa too (Not sure what country you're from as the rules are different depending on where you hold a passport).

    Great video, love the t-shirts! I'm planning on visiting in November so will definitely follow your advice. I've heard that paying for things in Shanghai is a nightmare. Seems local apps like AliPay and WeChat are most common, but not so easy for foreigers to set up accounts. Can you pay with credit cards in Disney Shanghai?

      Hey! I live in Shanghai and I can tell you that you can use foreign cards. Discover, Visa, and Mastercard are accepted. And setting up Wechat or Alipay makes it very convenient around Shanghai, but if you are planning to just stay around Disney then cash will be totally fine. Hope you have fun!

    • @tdrexplorer
      @tdrexplorer  6 лет назад +2

      That really depends on where you're coming from in the US. As for hotels and tickets, that's best to check the Shanghai Disneyland website for prices since those change as well :)

    Just an FYI to anyone who buys the SIM card, although it says that you can top the card up with a Visa card, I was unable to do so. I tried several different visa cards over two days and the transaction failed every time. If you need more data or need the card for more than 7 days, I suggest you look for a different card.

    • @tdrexplorer

      I think the only two options it gave me was Visa or Alipay. And I don't have Alipay. It did work well for the week that it was active. I just couldn't reload it, which was annoying when I was in China for another four days. :D

    worried about my transit visa, my toy story hotel reservation only shows one persons first name in our party. will this affect being accepted. we have all our flights back out with our names

    • @lauradaangel
      @lauradaangel 5 лет назад +1

      Michaela Parent I think you can have the hotel add the additional persons name to the reservation so you have proof for everyone. I believe if it’s more than 2 people you might have to call to get them added?
