- Knowlton Church and Earthworks - Dorset’s Most Haunted Location with Spooky Tales. Happy Halloween 🎃
The Conquest Of The Old Gods
Surrounded by a Neolithic earthwork, the hollow shell of Knowlton church is one of the most atmospheric places in Dorset and is also said to be one of its most haunted.
The ruins are imbued with a mystical, almost enchanting, aura and the church’s location at the centre of a pagan circle stands as a testimony to a long ago clash of religious creeds.
No spirits were harmed in the making of this video…

Hi Rufus, very good video. I too have been here many a time as I live not too far away...tbh honest this is one of my favourite places.. all I find here is peace..no doubt it has a lot of history the plague the normans pagans etc. ( we actually call the church Norna!) and those from before ..the yew trees are wonderful and add to imo the peacefulness of the place..if you can visit, its free, go visit...❤
Quite enjoyed that, thanks Rufus.
Thank you for watching 👍🏼

At 7.57 until 7.59 in the video there is a tall dark figure walking behind you to the left of the screen just as you say you haven't seen any sightings, you weren't alone that day!! Slow the video down, he's very plain to see.
I did see 😱
