I love the video man. One question though, did Seiji get an upgrade? Why is he driving an Evo 6? Matches the whole alternate timeline vibe so I think its pretty cool lol
@@Vieryoma-Cars Gotcha. Also, Im so happy to see Nakazato pull a win this time around! Every cinematic I've seen depicts him losing every race. It's nice seeing something that shows he's a capable racer. The video quality was top notch. As WODEN Sim Racing said below, it really does feel like Vegetable Studio quality with how much thought and effort put behind the editing was. The audio editing was ear candy.
@@SkylineGTR_BNR32 I really appreciate it! Nakazato is definitely a capable racer. I bet if he didn't let pride get in his away and learn to not abuse the break he would be on the Takahashi Brother's level.
I am sad we didn't get to see more of Nakazato in either the original series or legends, because his film "Black Lightning of Myogi" didn't do him justice.
He redeemed himself though. Idk where it was but he could still drift. Damn awesome and his rematch with the white r32 gtr.. His still the best when it comes to controlling a gtr
Honestly wish they gave nakazato more of a redemption considering he basically got clowned on in stage 1 and then was essentially just a background character afterwards
Thank you very much, gosh darn it. I hated 2nd Stage so much for the fact that the intro was reminding me every episode of how Takeshi lost by crashing again, even though it really shouldn't have happened on his home track, where he probably trained a lot to avoid crashes. I get that the writers wanted the Emperors team to be the new big bad guys, but there is no way Takeshi would lose this easily to Seiji's Evo 4, which had only 280hp, while Takeshi had 380hp in his R32, and he barely lost during his uphill battle against Keisuke's 350hp Rx7, back in 1st Stage. I know that downhill means the power difference wouldn't really matter, but the fact that Keisuke barely won, means that the same should've probably happened with Seiji, or better yet, why not make Seiji lose, so Kyoichi can win, and then Seiji wants a redemption for losing, so he insists on battling the AE86? Okay, maybe I went too far there, but still, Takeshi didn't deserve to lose by crashing again at all. Also thank you for reminding everyone that Takeshi knows about the gutter run technique too, but just didn't used it against Takumi, because he wanted to win without it. Sorry for being 3 months late too.
They really nerfed Takeshi. You know I was planning another video showing that Takeshi is a true monster to be reckoned with and not just some dude who lets his emotions take over hitting guardrails each time. I really do wish they did more with him. I just know he would’ve been everyone’s favorite character if they did.
Yeah easy to say of why Nakazato crashes so bad in that race, but, you forgot one thing; This anime reflects what was common in the Japanese Car community; if we talking about the Skyline GT-R community (specially with the R32 & R35) is not so different to the Mustang community (specially with the SN95 & the S197) in the US; specially by have 2 sides of the same coin: 1- Drivers that known their pros and cons and it's racing background with a wide margin of experience with the car. 2- The idiots who think that buying a fast car it means that you buy driving skills, without knowing their hidden tricks that can harm itself and the others.
@@axl1632 Yeah I get it, I saw that in Wangan Midnight too, and Nakazato maybe arrogant, but he isn't a rookie at all. The anime tried setting him up as someone who's almost as skillful as Ryosuke from all the dialogue, plus he knew about Takumi's gutter run trick too, which he simply didn't use, bcs he thought it would be too easy. And after 3rd Stage, there was an audio novel about how Nakazato got his redemption and defeated that white R32, the one we see in his flashbacks, when he was still good at drifting, which he also shows again in the same novel, bcs his friends doubted his skill and they thought he forgot all about drifting, but then he proves them wrong. I say his only problem is making mistakes under pressure, but I still don't understand why they showed him, as if he somehow learned nothing in 2nd Stage from his battle with Takumi, yet he understood his mistakes in 1st Stage, when it happened. Plus this time the race was on his own home turf, so you'd think he trained on this road long enough to make sure not to crash. I also hate how the intro of 2nd stage spoils and reminds everyone about Nakazato's crash, almost every episode, like come on, as if this wasn't sad enough. To me it seems like the writers want to destroy their own characters for strange reasons, kind of like with the Spiderman comics.
@@KLUCZESIA Nakazato is good in time trials, but, in normal battles it always commit the same rookie mistake of always going in the front, gave it all the advantage to their opponents to study him and pressure him to withered its tires; specially with an unknown car, until it obviously it didn't make it again after *3 RACES* until that particular race against with that white R32 in the CD Drama. Besides Nakazato it's not so different to your typical narcisistic driver that doesn't learn it's lesson with the first lose (as Takumi did against the Evo 3 or the S2k which he's more reflexive due to not beign blind by it's racing driver pride as the others). Besides even Seiji (Evo IV) it did suffer a similar situation after it's humillating battle with the AE86 at Akina (the 2nd lose with the RedSun's FD and the last one is against the new challenger; which is Kogashiwa in the MR2 SW20, althrough it was mention by Kenji in the Third Stage movie during the Irohazaka arrival) that didn't learn it's lesson of NEVER underestimate the type of car, when it's in good hand of a better, even if isn't an AWD Car.
If you wanna see him win again but canonically, he also won a race in an Initial D Audio Drama, sadly it was never dubbed into english though you can watch it with subtitles.

I’m assuming this is pinned so people can see the reason why the car was different

I just use sol!

what ppfilter do you use? this video looks amazing
I use none! I just edited all pages of SolConfig 2.0
