USA CROSS COUNTRY ROAD TRIP (Part I: The Grand Canyon, Mojave National Preserve)

- After four years living in Los Angeles I've made the decision to move back home to Maine for a while. I sold all my furniture, donated half of my wardrobe, and crammed everything I own into my car. In a straight shot, West Hollywood CA to Midcoast Maine is about 2,700 miles. With our incredible stops along the way we ended up driving over 3,600 miles, spending 58 hours ON THE ROAD, passing through 14 states, spending $500ish in gas, staying in 6 hotels, getting in one very minor car accident (just a scrape but thanks Chicago), all in just 7 days. This is Part I of the journey and I can't wait to show you all the incredible stops we made. Shoutout to my incredible friend Chris who flew to California from Maine to drive the ENTIRE LENGTH of the country with me the following day. He's a real one! What you'll see in Part I: the Mojave National Preserve (California), the Grand Canyon (Arizona) and bits and pieces from the road. Enjoy and make sure to subscribe and set up alerts for Parts II and III to come!

Beautiful scenery, once again! Awesome video! Sorry I missed the road trip, but at least I get to follow along !
I know! You were almost along for the journey.. but so glad I get to share it with you this way :) Thanks for giving it a watch!
EPIC TRIP! Welcome Home❤️ So excited to have East Coast Erika back!
Me too 😊 and thank you! Also so appreciate your help with Copley so I could get all packed up and across the country smoothly!
We had such a blast with Copley! Thanks for sharing him with us!
That's going to be one hell of an amazing road-trip back home, since those two states are literally one coast to the other apart. I wish I am able to do that kind of a coast to coast road-trip some day. On a different note it also seems that the California exodus is indeed true, especially from L.A. been hearing and reading a lot about it
The trip home was amazing! So many great stops. The episode that came out today is probably my favorite. You’ll love it when you do a cross country trip. So much to see and experience while driving. And yes lots of people heading out of LA the last year
Erika!! You will be missed here in LA I always hoped to run into you in one of your many adventures. Wish the best in your new chapter back in Maine.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate the kind words and support. I have a feeling I’ll be back out there a bunch so hopefully we will still cross paths someday 😊
@@EJAdventures that would be awesome! I'll keep on enjoying your videos in the meantime. Adventure awaits 😊
So much fun! Awesome video!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!
I’m going to enjoy this vid while I recover for a bit from my workout. I have been patiently waiting for this vid to finally come out

@@EJAdventures Oh crazy nice photo of you on the side...liken
@@Dinoxt12 thanks!
Sorry to see you leave! would love to have the opp. to stay in the West Coast USA for a few yrs just to explore the nature! London-Luv!
The West Coast is amazing! I have a feeling I'll be back someday! The opportunities for exploration are endless
I didn't know you lived in west Hollywood lol sorry I watched the 3rd road trip first lol, it's gotta be expensive living in Hollywood huh, but its awesome, nice video 😁
Haha ah okay gotcha! Yes I lived in LA for four years. WeHo for the final two. It was certainly expensive but provided a lot of unique opportunities and I loved the nature out there when you venture out of the city areas
Girl, have give you credit...you surely don't sit still . Now she's going to wear out New England...watch out people she's on the way .
Hahah.. hoping not to wear anyone out! And I’m definitely looking forward to some stillness soon since you’re right, I haven’t had any lately. Hope you’re well! Thank you for watching 😊
I’ll take this as the NEW ADVENTURES OF EJ. And where is COPLEY ?????????
Haha! Lots more adventures coming. Copley was in Maine with my parents. I think the road trip would've been way too much for him so he flew back with me previously (for my friend's wedding) and my parents were amazing to take him while I went back to LA to pack up my place and drive back. He's very happy to be reunited with mom now :)
@@EJAdventures gotcha. And this is a new road. All roads lead back to where the heart is Home is where you make it.
@@javiervera7025 totally agree! It's a time for new beginnings.. looking forward to what lies ahead!
did you unload everything from the car everytime you stopped overnight? or was it safe to leave it in the car?
