- Absolute MUST-DO experience!!!!!!!!! A hot air balloon ride has always been on my bucket list and now I'm already wanting to go again. So glad we went with the company we did - A Grape Escape out of Europa Village Winery. Check their website if you're interested in booking with them: hotairtours.co... ... The tours are only offered at sunrise and for some reason getting up at that hour always adds to the experience for me. We took off from Joshua Tree around 4AM (talk about exhausted..ha) and had to report to the winery by 6:30 for our balloon flight. The company was professional, our pilot was awesome, the views of Temecula were gorgeous and you could see soooo far into the distance. Our pilot was great about pointing out what we were looking at along the way and providing us with interesting information. Hahaha cannot even picture Copley there he would’ve been losing his mind! I was a bit worried since I’d been having dizziness / vertigo spells lately but it didn’t bother me at all during the flight!
I am going to propose to my girl on Oct 2nd on one of these in New Jersey. It will be only 2 of us. It is not cheap but I think worth it !!!! It will be a sunset ride in North Jersey. I can't wait.

Wow the landing was wild. He made it look so easy maneuvering the basket to the right spot! The whole ride looked incredible 😍

I believe it is standard for their tours and I’m sure depends on how the wind is flowing that day.. but the operator handled all of that and I believe it’s pretty standard. Our highest altitude that day was 5,550 feet
