During my 76 years I have heard a lot of great music and a lot of great bands. Even the great ones sometimes struggled with how to end a song. There was a time when a simple fade-out was quite popular. Some had OK endings and a few really good ones. Nobody I can think of were ever so consistently good at ending a song as these ladies. Every single time, it's epic. And it always fits the song, as does everything else. They are amazing.
Miyako had mentioned that it took a while for her to get used to that Roland digital piano because the keys felt very different from her baby/grand pianos. "Lost in the Garden" has a heavy neoclassical metal component and the song is inspired by Romantic-era composer, Franz Liszt's, "La Campanella", which is also the piano intro she played here. "La Campanella" is considered by many professional classical musicians as one of the most difficult and complex piano pieces to play. This video is an excerpt from the Tokyo leg of Lovebites' "Judgement Day" tour in Japan which ended successfully in October last year. This performance was LIVE streamed to an international audience and what you watched was raw with no post-production, and the band still sounded absolutely phenomenal !

LOVEBITES - Lost in the Garden lyrics: Eyes blue and waving blond hair Green brooches on her chest Beauty catching the eye of everyone with no doubt
Hear pleasant sound of the harp Time passes like a wind But never bringing season with the flowers and you
Must care, love and stand by one's side to save their souls We are all complicated, delicate, adorable
Can't get close, can't even touch your fragile heart Finally we have met but you disappear I'm chasing pieces of things you left behind Somewhere inside of me still believe that you are here There is a new world that's beyond the sea And searching for the meaning of your last words
Nights giving me the loneliness It's taking breath away Drowning in this darkness, struggling out everytime
As lighted by the sunrise Breeze bringing me the peace Relief that this will be another start of the day
Words sometimes has different meanings that what's said Feelings that can't be put in words are ones that's precious

Miyako had a premier video of her practicing Franz Liszt camping song La Campanella a while ago. It is difficult because it requires a big hands for big reach. Her hands are small. Due to this she struggled with mistakes until she overcame then speeding up through each pass. Miyako stuck with it and here she proves that hard work pays off. She really does work at her craft. I would love to see her use a Steinway, too. Then we get the treat of seeing Asami play piano. You are right that Asami has a commanding stage presence.
I know that Miyako complained about the keys on the roland at the FOAK show in 2020 and it seems she may be using the same Roland here. Even though the keys on the Roland are weighted, they feel nothing like an acoustic piano and she had a problem with it.
Your reviews are always exceptionally good RC. Miyako once has explained in her channel how the touches different between a grand piano and an upright piano because an upright piano needs one extra action to hit the string, and said electronic pianos are even more different. I guess it happened on the Rolland piano, but Miyako also loves that white Rolland for its pretty looking. I want you to try Swan Song 2021 version from the album Heavy Metal Never Dies ruclips.net/video/7KcYoojBqPI/видео.html. It has regretfully got no Chopin Revolutionary Etude as the intro but the grand piano at the ending sounds just magnificent and epic. The sound is much better than the Rolland. This is a good example how a real grand piano is different from an electronic piano.....well, let's call it a keyboard.
You are absolutely correct with your thoughts about the piano. In fact she owns an Yamaha baby grand since her teenager days, but she even changed the keys of this one to have a better feel for playing. For her pianos recital „A day with Miyako“ some months ago she played a Steinway grand piano …

This often is mentioned when it comes to the most difficult piano pieces to play. There exist only a few recordings by the greatest piano virtuosos of all time where this piece was performed in (almost) perfection. To be fair, Miyako skipped the most difficult parts for this piano intro. The original arrangement is about 6 minutes to play. Some like Lang Lang speed it up to almost 5 minutes …
You can do it! Honestly, I don't know. lol I've had drummers that did it while talking to me without realizing there were doing it so I assume a little practice and it will soon become a habit.
I have read the comments. Dear members of the Wolf Pack. Sorry, but Ferenc Liszt is not the author of La Campanella ! The author of La Campanella is Niccolo Paganini ! This is approximately the same as the authors of Burn are Deep Purple, the author of Battery is Metallica, the author of The Loner is Gary Moore . Miyako is not the author of these songs. Miyako only made the arrangements and performed these songs on the piano!
That's right. "La Campanella" is part 3 of the 6-piece Paganini Etudes. These were written by Franz Liszt in an arrangement of Paganini's caprices. In today's parlance, a "cover". Ferenc Liszt was a Hungarian composer, pianist, conductor and music teacher, and we are proud of him, as we are of Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály. It is a primary school curriculum in our country. Greetings from Hungary.
@@szabotamas68 Thanks for the answer. You are absolutely right! This is exactly what I meant when I wrote that it was originally a work by the Great Italian violinist and composer Niccolo Paganini. I know La Campanella's story. I listened to the works of Niccolo Paganini and Ferenc Liszt, including those you named. I know that Ferenc Liszt is the national pride of Hungary and an outstanding Hungarian composer. And that in Hungarian his name is written "Ferenc". At the time of F.Liszt, the Kingdom of Hungary was part of the Austrian Empire (later the Austro-Hungarian Empire). Therefore, his name is often written in German as “Franz”. F.Liszt created the piano version of La Campanella. This is a very technically challenging and beautiful piece of music.
@@FURIOSA175 To understand what ? Miyako arranged these songs for piano (cover). Miyako is not the author of these songs . Ferenc Liszt also arranged La Campanella for piano (cover). Ferenc Liszt is not the author of La Campanella He did this 25 years after Niccolo Paganini composed La Campanella. That is, the author of La Campanella is not Ferenc Liszt, but is Niccolo Paganini. La Campanella was written by him for violin and orchestra.
As for Miyako on the piano, just the fact of being able to play "La Campanella" by Liszt, which is one of the most difficult works of the classical repertoire and on which many have broken their teeth, demonstrates the fact that she is a world-class pianist.
I think that the song Lost in the Garden takes listeners back to classical music of the 19th century. Miyako and the LoveBites purposefully wanted to immerse listeners in the atomosphere of the 19th century by adding Niccolo Paganini's La Campanella before the song ? I like it.

Miyako arranged these songs for piano (cover).
Miyako is not the author of these songs .
Ferenc Liszt also arranged La Campanella for piano (cover).
Ferenc Liszt is not the author of La Campanella
He did this 25 years after Niccolo Paganini composed La Campanella.

I like it.
Well Well Well
Were you here today?
I didn't get a reply yesterday and I felt lonely.
Is it because @ingopek548 was busy?
@ingopek5485@northof4912@Donegal62@user-mr4se1lg8h I wonder if your thought processes are so similar that you can't converse at the same time?
Even one-on-one seems difficult
Is it a continuation of yesterday?
Or about the comment you just made?
Shall we have a heated Conversation?
Thank you for the nice reaction
