This man should be a millionaire off them baby boy residual checks that movie is on cable 24/7 especially on BET that movie comes on at least once every day lol 😂
I enjoyed baby boy when you realize they’re in their 20s and when you put into account how many 20 year olds are actually going through this it’s an eye opener
1 of the best interviews I've seen in a min. & 1 of my favorite line from the movie was "got me walking around goose stepping" shit still be having me rollin
This was a good interview I grew up watching Omar on Mr. Cooper and smart guy I haven’t seen baby boy literally since it came out I’m going to watch it again now that I seen this interview.
He gotta be talking about Angel Conway. I love her and I love that he said that she’s not really like she’s portrayed if you picking up what I’m putting down.
Great actor.... and Omar really brought that movie to life, he really made Baby Boy a believable film. Tyrese cool, and his acting was good....but it was really Omar that made his and Tyrese characters, seem real. And the character of Sweet P, was so impactful, because most of the guys in the hood are like that. white media always painted a one side picture, making society think all brothers in the hood, are just violent savages with no morals or soul. Omar's rendition of P brought real heart an soul to that character, an showed a side of alot of young black men that is never seen. Most of the real dudes in the hood, got a heart, an wish they didn't have to live the life they do because of their environment an surroundings. That scene with Jody an P talking while Jody is fixing the lil homies bike...is one of the most powerful an heartfelt scenes of any movie. It encapsulates, the struggle that many of us have went thru or going thru...where u dont wanna do wrong, you don't want to be in situations where u gotta take a life or have your's taken, but to feel helpless an hopeless, feeling like its inevitable, an only a matter of time. I personally think Omar should have won an Oscar for best supporting role for Baby Boy. There are alot of lines from that movie that Omar will always be know for...but to me his best line of dialogue....was THE PRAYER.... "lord we try to keep our heads up in bad times...this is a bad time....show us the way ...an if you can't show us the way ...then forgive us for being lost".....ive watched that movie a 1000 times, and that scene touches my soul every time
I remember her in that’s so raven. If you all seen the girl that played his girlfriend in the show that’s so raven omg. She was a only fans model before the only fans model. I mean chocolate beautiful black woman.
Yeah I definitely know a few ppl from the West... Is it stereotypical to write about it if you actually know and/or were raised around people that act like that in real life? @@Freedomofspech57
that means you're not a good listener... maybe go watch BABY BOY an some reruns of Hanging with Mr Cooper...then rewatch the interview, hopefully you'll catch up
"We got milk, water, kool-aid, strawberry soda, ima get you some strawberry soda!!" 😆
I worked at a fast food restaurant and since I watched that movie every “hood” back person that comes through I offer strawberry soda instead of coke

Ima say one famous line is 'You got jumped by some little niccas'😂😂😂😂
No.

Imagine if Tupac had a chance to actually do this movie , that would have been extra special!!
Yep that would’ve took the comedy away from the movie. Tyrese goofy so it was comical

Grew up on Omar, I even remember he was in an episode of Webster 😭💕. He’s in my comfort celebrities collection.

Baby Boy was funny, because it was a stereotypical parody of Black people. We don’t all act like that so it was hilarious
Baby boy was about blk ppl from los angles not blk ppl from Atlanta or new york

That wouldn't make it funny that wasn't stereotypical that's how them LA guys really are
I really wanted him and Angell to make it as a couple.
He’s aged very well
Crazy bro was the best character in the movie outside of Marvin 😅
He looks like a sober Orlando brown no cap
Look like Timbaland lmao
This man can rap his ass off, how am I just finding this out today?!
Rap as in rhyming or rap as in conversing?
@@williamwalsh1533 No, rhyming!Very skillfully!
@@Mr1and14orth OK, I gotta check out his work. Oshea Jr. can rap too.

All I see is when he was getting at Jody sitting on the old school weight bench, classic scene
Pee did his thing in the movie baby boy
Rest in peace Jon singleton
baby boy was funny 😂 we all say that
The movie would’ve been 10 times realer with 2pac instead of Tyrese
True but Tyrese is more believable as the baby boy type.
