Get back minimum 75m boundaries. One new ball. Remove switch hit and reduce power play. Also regulate bat size. The lighter and much bigger bats due to modern technology has been the biggest factor in creating imbalance between bat and ball.
Mentality changes.. Mindset changes.. Skill changes.. Demand changes.. Not fully against two new ball as this rule cause balance the luck effect of toss.. But there are so many unfair rules in modern cricket against bowler in the term of entertainment.. Flat pitches, powerplay, very very short format of game, short boundaries 😕.. Need rule for the side of bowlers too😕

Same here mate😢. I enjoyed the 2013 odi series of IND aus cause it was new we got 300 in every match. But from 2015 wc onwards I saw this was happening continuosly and I didn't enjoyed it that much. These flat pitches series can be good if it is done once or twice in 3-4 yrs but....😢😢
The thing is majority of cricket fans are casual fans and they want to see lots of boundaries and a game dominated by Batsman. So it's businesses driven decision to favour Batsman in limited over cricket.

2 new balls was introduced to help new ball bowlers swing more. 5 fielders insiders was introduced to try to cut easy singles cos captains were just letting the game drift. Both have proved counter productive. Basically need sporting wickets
Not to hate on anyone, but the pitches used in the World Cup were atrocious. There was no variation at all. Only in some stadiums like Eden gardens, there was spin and I can't remember else where. The pitches were flat.
I don't know about you ,but I like low scoring thrillers than high scoring one sided matches. The most memorable matches in the World cup were low scoring. India vs Australia , Australia vs Afghanistan, etc.

Otherwise bring back reverse swing bowling by bowling with 1 ball Reduce the time of ODIs Make them total length of 400-450 mins Put extreme restrictions on the time because people get bored while watching middle overs which are obscurely long Introduction of 4th powerplay could be done where only 2 fielders can be kept inside the circle this would make long range hitting a lot tough. Also make sure that least boundary length is 70m no need of 60-70 m boundaries The bats and protein shakes these days allow players to have muscle enough to hit a mini 80 m six If six goes over 100 m give it 8 or 10 runs because according to field restrictions mentioned above long range hitting would be risky and a guy hitting it over 100 should be rewarded appropriately.
The only area where India matched Australia in the wc final was the top 5 batsman. The rest of the department's like fielding, allrounders and middle order batting was easily dominated by Australia. End of the day Australia were a far better overall team when compared with India. That's why they deserved to win the wc.
What a load of nonsense, Gavaskar was a mediocre ODI batsman even for his era, he simply didn't have the game for ODI cricket, Kohli is a better ODI batsman than Gavaskar ever was. Kohli didn't purposefully throw a match away by scoring 36 run in 60 freaking over chasing 336, didn't even trying to win just because he was pissy about playing ODI cricket in 1975 world cup, Gavaskar did that. Nostalgia is riding too much here.

Yes it's tough. But here's my take. See it's international match. Means you have the best players of the world playing. Yes I repeat the rules are in favour of batsmen and only will happen more. But here's the take. This also means 5 players inside circle so it's an attacking bowlers field. If I am an attacking bowler and a good accurate one, I love batsmen hitting me. Sorry to be harsh but I want bowlers to be too good. We have batsmen improving generation by generation while bowling quality has come down every generation. This is true as well. Then today bowlers too have the support staff, the coach, the fitness coach, the dietician, the bowling academies, the video analyst, but inspite this i honestly don't see any bowler bowling with purpose. It's ok to get hit by batsmen but it should be because the bowler forced the batsmen to hit. However today batsmen just love hitting no respect or fear. Is this because of ONLY rules in favour of batsmen. I dare these batsmen do the same against the fast bowling greats we have seen. Get it. Like this I can go on. Only one point to end the argument batsmen just has one chance. Bowler has 6 balls every over. Tell me 6 attempts a over, 60 attempts in a match, can't bowler succeed minimum 6% every match. I know it's tough but why bowler Don't have this superb mentality is my question. End of the day, cricket is a mind game. At least this should ring a bell. Batsmen hitting more means giving more chances to bowlers. Atleast 5 out of 10 matches bowl, prepare and execute like this. See what happens. Batsmen needs to make only one error.

Not to hate on anyone, but the pitches used in the World Cup were atrocious. There was no variation at all. Only in some stadiums like Eden gardens, there was spin and I can't remember else where. The pitches were flat.

Put extreme restrictions on the time because people get bored while watching middle overs which are obscurely long
Introduction of 4th powerplay could be done where only 2 fielders can be kept inside the circle this would make long range hitting a lot tough.
Also make sure that least boundary length is 70m no need of 60-70 m boundaries
The bats and protein shakes these days allow players to have muscle enough to hit a mini 80 m six
If six goes over 100 m give it 8 or 10 runs because according to field restrictions mentioned above long range hitting would be risky and a guy hitting it over 100 should be rewarded appropriately.
The only area where India matched Australia in the wc final was the top 5 batsman. The rest of the department's like fielding, allrounders and middle order batting was easily dominated by Australia. End of the day Australia were a far better overall team when compared with India. That's why they deserved to win the wc.

What a load of nonsense, Gavaskar was a mediocre ODI batsman even for his era, he simply didn't have the game for ODI cricket, Kohli is a better ODI batsman than Gavaskar ever was. Kohli didn't purposefully throw a match away by scoring 36 run in 60 freaking over chasing 336, didn't even trying to win just because he was pissy about playing ODI cricket in 1975 world cup, Gavaskar did that. It's not just Viv, many top batters of Gavaskar's generation played ODI much better than him, be it Clive Lloyd, Greg Chappell, Zaheer Abbas, Border etc.

Then today bowlers too have the support staff, the coach, the fitness coach, the dietician, the bowling academies, the video analyst, but inspite this i honestly don't see any bowler bowling with purpose. It's ok to get hit by batsmen but it should be because the bowler forced the batsmen to hit.
However today batsmen just love hitting no respect or fear. Is this because of ONLY rules in favour of batsmen. I dare these batsmen do the same against the fast bowling greats we have seen. Get it.
