Do you still put down the Copper Sulfate in that area?

This is great stuff. I can attest to how easy that lighter blue "winter" pipe works though!
Jealous this video didn''t come out a few weeks ago before I put in my system! But I am hoping air pruning will be good enough. Copper sulfate is a no go since I discharge to a storm drain.
Keep up the great work FDM! I never would have had the confidence to do this myself without content like this. I would have done a no wrap, PVC system with most dirt back on top that wouldn't have lasted nearly as long as mine will.

    Trees don’t like copper?

Copper compounds, act as a natural deterrent to root growth, causing roots to avoid areas where the metal is present, effectively preventing them from penetrating the pipes; this is achieved by applying copper directly to the pipe, where it dissolves into the surrounding soil, inhibiting root development without significantly harming the tree itself.
