With the passing of my mother and the world looking more dark by the day, drawing closer to Jesus has been my life line! I can’t imagine going through this world without Him. What’s helped me draw closer to Him is dissecting the word; that means praying for the Holy Spirit’s understanding + breaking a verse apart like a detective + and then writing down how I’m going to use that Scripture in my day-to-day life + then actually do it. A channel called “We Are Jesus Doers” has been a huge help on my walk with Jesus. They literally have a ton of Bible studies and even homework. There’s quite a bit of studying involved, but I’m thankful to have found a place that’s so focused on Jesus and the Word of God.
