By the time I was 35 I had lost both my parents. I'm 81 now and have been a vegetarian for most of my adult life but WFPB for the past several years. Your channel was one of the first that I started watching, and it has changed my life and my husband's. He still cheats once in awhile and I'm trying to impress upon him the importance of not doing that. Thank you for the inspiration you've given me, and countless others.
Dear Jaroudi family I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m 67. Vegan 4 years! Thanks to your YT videos. Stay strong knowing that you are a good influence on your audience. My heart goes out to you!
So very sorry, Brittany. The hardest part of adopting this lifestyle is not the eating. It's the remorse that we feel in not being able to truly reach the ones we love with the truth that they so desperately need. It is not your fault. There are so many forces against at every turn that it seems something of a lost cause. You are a pioneer and a trailblazer. You have most certainly improved the lives of many thousands. Take comfort in knowing that although you could not reversed your parents' diseases, you have had and continue to have profound power in the lives of so many. You are doing your parents proud. Blessings to you and your family at this time.
I was 36 when my parents passed away one month apart from each other. My dad was 67 and my mom was 69. Your words have once again resonated with me. Thank you, for the heartfelt message.
So sorry Brittany. Losing your Parents is so hard! You re young to have lost both. I lost my parents 3 days apart. So hard but at least they were 90s and I was 64. My way is my mom's terrible dementia. I don't want to end up like that at all. Hugs and love to you! ❤
I needed to hear this Brittany. It was as if you were looking directly at me. I’m touched that in spite of your grief you are extending a helping hand to others. Thank you so much! May you find the comfort you need at this time. God bless you and your family! ♥️🥰♥️🥰♥️🥰♥️🥰♥️🥰
Brittany, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost both of my parents before I was 40 from cardiovascular disease. They were 67 and 68. I found wfpb 3 years ago. I'm 74 and am here to say you are never too old to change! Thank you for sharing your "why".
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family for the loss of your parents. It’s so difficult to watch a loved one’s health slowly decline. Especially, when we know the healing power of food and pillars of this lifestyle. You are making a huge difference in so many lives with your channel, please never doubt that. Hopefully that will bring you some comfort as you mourn. Love and prayers. 🙏🏻❤️
I was 41 when my dad passed from cancer. While he was ill, I vowed to stop eating pork, as he and my mom were big eaters of this, being British. It was just the beginning. Reading Alicia Silverstone’s The Kind Diet was my complete turning point. I’ve been vegan for 14 years and my daughter and hubby are now too. My mom died 7 years after my dad, same disease. All the more reason that my “why” stays firm! I’m sorry for your losses Britt. If you have videos of family to share with your boy, the memories will live on by hearing their voices and the faces to match from photos. ✨♥️✨
It is hard when family members reject the dietary changes that can aid with disease. But like you say - we are selfish and selfless by living the whole plant lifestyle. Thank you for sharing! I appreciate you.
First of all, I am so sorry for your losses. I can identify. By the time I was 32 I lost both of my parents (1.5 years apart); one from cardiovascular disease and the other from cancer. Both my mother and my grandmother died at age 69. I have been fearful of that legacy but I am now almost 73. I am new to a WFPB lifestyle but my 3 young grandchildren have been my inspiration. I want to be around as long as I can for them. Having children is the best!! Thanks so much for sharing.
Dear Brittany, I am so sorry for your loss. It's so hard to lose a parent. May you hold on to the precious memories. Thank you for sharing this video. I'm 67 and will be trying harder to stay with this lifestyle for my 18 month old grandson.
Brittany, you are so young to lose your parents. I'm very sorry for your profound loss. What a thoughtful and wise person you are. I'm grateful to be part of your community here.
thank you, Britney for sharing your pain in the loss of your parents. You have made a tremendous difference in my life by sharing your personal experiences especially the whole food plant base way of living. I appreciate you so much.
Beautiful message, Brittany. I’ve been following you for several years & so appreciate your dedication to helping others. I’m sorry for your losses. 🌱❤️
So sorry for your loss! But so admirable for using your grief to help other people. My parents are in their 70s already, but both struggle with health problems, probably due to their diet choices (lots of meat, lots of satieted fats, lots of alcohol), but refuse to make any changes. It's sad to see and it makes you feel helpless and also angry. You want them around for as long as possible but they don't seem to care. All the best to you and your little family. At least you got each other.
So sorry to see you've lost your parents. You couldn't have done any more for them than you have. Be comforted that your son will never have to go through that suffering, due to your knowledge, practice and great love for your family
My deepest condolences! Thank you for all you do. Your message has not fallen on deaf ears. Your guidance and inspiration has helped me remain WFPB. 🙏🏻
Dear Brittany, I am the same age as your dad was when he passed. I, too, suffer with many of the maladies that he had to face. Thanks to being able to change my way of eating, and in no small part due to your efforts, Brittany, I am able to turn this life of mine around. I have no idea how much healing ability is left in me (I have done a lot of damage!), but I do know that my life will be better than it ever could have been before. You may never fully know how many people you have helped. In spite of all of your sadness, you still continue to reach out to help others. What a beautiful soul you are! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do to help others. God bless you and your family, and may your dear parents rest in peace.❤❤
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. God bless you in your grief. You are doing so much good work to prevent the diseases we humans are so prone to eating for those eating the SAD. Sending healing love to you.
I am sorry for your family's loss...thank you for sharing your story with this community. your recipes are great. I did not know my grandparents so I know that loss; so I try to be there for my grand children. Hopefully this life style will help my longevity also. your in my prayers.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Please know I hear you and am going to reign in my mostly plant based diet. Thank you for pushing me to take better care of myself. Sending you love.
So sorry for your loss. 😢 I know it’s hard! I lost both my parents within 9 months of each other. Keep doing what you’re doing! You are changing people’s lives with your knowledge of this lifestyle. Stay strong!
I am so sorry for your loss Brittany. I lost both of my parents a number of years ago (neither were WFPB). I know how painful it is and could hear your pain while you were speaking. Thank you for reaching out to everyone and to encourage us to pay attention to each bite we take. I am WFPB and love this lifestyle but it does make me feel sad when I am around so many people who don’t eat/live this way. My prayer is that someone will hear your powerful words and make a positive change in their life. Your membership and website are so supportive. Hugs, hugs and more hugs. ❤
This is so very kind of you to share your heartaches with us. Your heart is in the right place. As sad as you must be, you are still reaching out to help others. Thank you and may God be with you and your family.🙏🏻🙏🏻
So sorry that you lost both parents at your age. You have a strong WHY. Your message blesses many people, Brittany. Gentle hugs to you. Our family members are often the last ones to hear us.
1st - I empathize and sympathize in your losses... My mother passed at 41 years of age (cancer) and my dad at 51 (cirosis of the liver, alcohol related). By my sophomore year of high school they were both gone. ALL that you say here are so greatly impactful to me personally. I will refer to this video recurrently for encouragement throughout life from here. Thank you🤍
I am sorry for the loss of your parents. My Dad just passed 2 years ago at the age of 95. I feel very fortunate to have had him in my life all this time. I have been waffling with the idea of WFPB eating for awhile now and I truly appreciate your frank and candid talk. I think I just need to buckle down and "DO IT". I am tired of being tired and achy and want to live a better life than I have now in my mid 70's. Thank you for sharing and caring.
Message heard, and I am so grateful to you for you following your life’s mission and sharing with us the hows and whys. It is indeed selfish and selfless 💛 I am so sorry for your loss. I lost both of my patents this past year (dad cancer, mom by suicide) and I just wanted to offer that of all the healing work I have done around grief (and it’s been lots) making art about my grief supported me and moved feelings through me more deeply than anything. 💝
Hugs Brittany, I was also an orphan by the time I was 36. Been WFPB for 8 years and love this lifestyle. I think it is easier to eat this way than the SAD way, personally. You are having an impact on your community and hope that all the support will help you get through this sad time.
Sincere condolences. Sending gentle thoughts to you and your family. There are so few plant based peeps in my world, your parents' story, sadly, will be the story of almost every person I know.
Brittany you are so warm and courageous to reach out to us and this early. I hear your message and you have been and continue to be instrumental in my own path to a healthy lifestyle. Your simple and delicious recipes are amazing. How especially uplifting it is to walk your own child in this healthy way. Your future is bright because your story will reach many people and we know you really understand so many layers. May your parents rest in heavenly peace and may this give you comfort.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Not much heart disease in my family but we have one of the mutations that causes cancer and to the extent I can fight it, WFPB is a step in the right direction.
My mom should still be here, and my father also doesn’t seem to believe me about “it’s the food.” Much love to you. And I’m so grateful for you and your channel. 💚🌱
My condolences. You have done a spectacular job of helping people understand, embrace and live the plant based healthy life style! I have learned many things from you and absolutely have adopted many recipes recipes I continue to enjoy. I know it is not easy. Please keep pushing forward! You are an INSPIRATION!
My heart is with you. Thank you for sharing yours with us. I’m 34 and I lost my Dad 6 months ago (he was only 66) from a heart attack, after years of trying to help him follow WFPB lifestyle. I’m sorry to hear you’re also going through this. Know you aren’t alone in your grief. Thank you for your words. It helped me feel less alone today ❤️
It's hard watching family members suffer while avoiding the changes that would set them free and give them a new life essentially. Shoot, I really would want to see my husband follow suit, not just my mom and dad (and siblings). I'm so sorry for your loss, and may you hold their love with you always as you continue building your own life. ❤
You have inspired me so much to eat healthy. I love your cooking videos. I am also a teacher. You seem like a really great person. I'm so very sorry for your loss. 😢
I am very sorry for the loss of your parents. My husband just offered me pizza while I’m watching this. Thank you for the motivation. My adult autistic son depends on me so that is my biggest motivation. I fell off the WFPB diet due to emergency health issues but am crawling back on. Fuel disease or prevent it. That would make a great tshirt to sell! Remember your why!🙏😊❤️
I, too, am caring for an autistic adult & have fallen off, BUT if I fall off 100 times, I will get back on 101 times. You can do this. We are worth it!
I’m sorry for your loss. My sympathies for you and your family. I know this video was difficult for you to make, but your message is true, important and needs to be heard. I am sure you helped someone today. ❤️
Brittany, This is such a great video in so many ways. Thank you for doing this while still in the midst of so much grief. It had to be so hard and it is so appreciated. I, too, lost my Mom and Dad way too soon. I so wish I could hug you right now. Love you, Girl. ❤🙏
Watching our loved ones slowly decline is so hard. I went through it with both of my parents as well. My mom was only 66 when she passed away (three years older than me right now). My dad thankfully lived to be 82 but his final years were difficult. Thank you for sharing this message. Love and prayers for you and your beautiful family. Thank you for all you do. ❤️
You are so very strong Brittany. So sorry to hear. There are no words that can be said to remove the pain of loosing loved ones. You are doing wonderful things for many people & we love you for all you do. Big hugs to you!!❤
You said it so well. Hope you don’t mind if I tag on to your post. Im so very sad for you😥. Thank you so much for all you do Brittany! You inspire me every day with your encouragement and recipes! I love you and what you stand for ! ❤️.
I’m so sorry for your loss Brittany. 😔 thank you so much for sharing your heart, you have impacted me to change my life and I am now wfpb and have lost 110 lbs and hopefully being an example to my family. You are making a difference. Keep sharing. ❤
God bless you and yours, Brittany. I remember that feeling, knowing that I was an orphan. I concur that your Dad and Mom would both be so proud of you and your impact on the world.
Thank you for sharing. Although my parents are still in the 70's and 80's heart disease weight sugar etc. with them is why I have eaten this way for a long time. My husband had a heart attack in his early 50's. I try my best to get him on my food life but it is just welcomed by pretty much of most of my family. I appreciate the information
SO SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS... Thank you for sharing your "why" and sticking to it so you can raise your baby in the healthiest way possible and to be there for him throughout his life.
I lost both of my parents these last 2 years. I miss talking to them, the people that understood me the most. I guess now I need them be that for my kids. Big hug. Proud of what you do. I am working on changing my eating more and more. Permanent habits.
I’m so sorry for your loss😢 You are an inspiration to take your experience and help others with healthy food choices. Thank you for everything you do to make it easier for others. God bless you and your family.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for this beautiful message! You are 100% right. We need to be selfless and selfish to live healthily for our loved ones! My Dad passed away at 50 years old because of cancer caused by his being obese. I never want my kids to go through the grief that I did….not if I can help it. 😔. Thank you for the motivation, and the delicious recipes!
This is so heartbreaking and it’s choking me up because I am struggling to put this lifestyle into practice even though I know it’s what I need to do. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this in the midst of your time of grief. May God comfort you 🙏🏾❤️
Big ((HUGS)) being sent to you and your family. So sorry for your loss. It's hard losing a parent, never mind two of them. Sending you strength and comfort to help you thru this. You have made such a HUGE impact on so many people who are inspired by you. It's hard when it comes to family and changing their eating lifestyle. I come from a huge family and not one of them is interested in changing their eating lifestyle, even slightly! It saddens me because there's so much disease (cancer, heart issues and other sickness). All I can do, is know I did my best in explaining my 'why' and how it would help them but it went went to deaf ears. Bill and I will continue to eat this lifestyle and feel so blessed that we found you as we LOVE your channel and the membership and all the healthy & delicious recipes. You inspire us to live our best lives. Marc & PJ are so lucky! Love you! 💙😘🙏
So sad, too young too pass and not enjoy years with your son. So sad, too, that family will not listen to a way to turn their health around--I am struggling with that myself so I am just trying to provide a good role model and maybe my successes will make some change for them. Your WHY and my WHY are similar as I lost my dad at 62 to colon cancer and my younger sister at 60 to NAFL/liver cancer, which could be contributed to lifestyle and diet. Following my sister's unexpected death 6 years ago, I found the WFPB lifestyle, have lost 80+ pounds and doing everything I can to be healthy and set the example for others. HUGS to you.
Dear Jaroudi family
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I’m 67.
Vegan 4 years!
Thanks to your
YT videos.
Stay strong knowing that you are a good influence on your audience.
My heart goes out to you!
What a wonderful way to celebrate their lives by improving the life and health of so many!
So sorry for your loss. Thank you for continuing to share the word that good health is within everyone's reach through your food choices.
I'm so sorry. I lost my mom at 28 (before I had kids) and my Dad at 33 (after I had 2). They should be here still. Thank you for what you're doing!
Brittany, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost both of my parents before I was 40 from cardiovascular disease. They were 67 and 68. I found wfpb 3 years ago. I'm 74 and am here to say you are never too old to change! Thank you for sharing your "why".

💚🧡❤💚 Thank you for bravely sharing your family's story to help others.🙏

I, too, am caring for an autistic adult & have fallen off, BUT if I fall off 100 times, I will get back on 101 times. You can do this. We are worth it!
Thank you so much Brittany. So sorry for your loss 🙏🏼❤️
Sorry for your loss
I'm sorry for your loss - that is so hard to lose both of them so young.
I’m so sorry for your loss Brittany. 😔 thank you so much for sharing your heart, you have impacted me to change my life and I am now wfpb and have lost 110 lbs and hopefully being an example to my family. You are making a difference. Keep sharing. ❤
Memory Eternal🕯️
Thank-you & God bless you for all you are doing 🙏☦️😇🕯️💟
You are in our prayers, praying from Latrobe, PA 🙏🙏🙏
God bless you and yours, Brittany. I remember that feeling, knowing that I was an orphan. I concur that your Dad and Mom would both be so proud of you and your impact on the world.
Sending so much love to you dear girl. I have been following you since you first started.
Be kind to yourself .
So very sorry for the loss of your parents, Brittany. It's so hard to lose those you love.
Completely understand what you went and are going through. Taking charge of your choices and health is what you can control. Thanks for sharing this.
SO SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS... Thank you for sharing your "why" and sticking to it so you can raise your baby in the healthiest way possible and to be there for him throughout his life.
My condolences to you and your family. 🌱
I lost both of my parents these last 2 years. I miss talking to them, the people that understood me the most. I guess now I need them be that for my kids. Big hug. Proud of what you do. I am working on changing my eating more and more. Permanent habits.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost both of my parents to diseases of affluence as well. Sending comfort, love & light to you. We share our why.
I am so sorry for your loss as well.
I’m so sorry for your loss😢 You are an inspiration to take your experience and help others with healthy food choices. Thank you for everything you do to make it easier for others. God bless you and your family.
So sorry for your loss. You are an amazing inspiration to so many. Thank You.
Oh Britney I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for all that you do to try and show people a better way. You and your family are in my prayers.
I’m so sorry for your loss, you have my deepest condolences. 💐
Condolences
I'm so sorry for your loss. Keep doing what you're doing.
