- Dealing with quick connect plastic heater hose connections and how I decided to go a different direction part to replace cost $135. I spent about $25.00 on the heater hose and hose clamps. Saved enough to change filters on car and still only be $75.00 in it once completed.
This man deserves all the beer in the world, freaking awesome video
This happened to me yesterday I'm at 133,000 miles. Thanks for the video. 👍

Guess what I'm working on today. My wife's 2013 Traverse has the same issue. Thanks for you video and your replacement idea.
It’s been a few months now and we haven’t had any problems with it since.
@@ProductiveLiving20 how has this fixed worked for you now?

Thanks for the video! I have a Chevy traverse and this jus happened to me yestrday night, thought it could be the radiator or even the resivor tank. Glad it only came down to this!! Back on the road already. Again, Thanks for the share!! 🤙🏼
Thanks for checking out the video
If you can’t get the hose over the lip on the bottom, put a little oil to lube the inside of hose and metal lip then heat up the hose with a heat gun then push it down, it makes it so much easier fyi. Thanks for this video and giving size of hose it helped a lot.
Cool thanks for the tips!
Worked perfectly! Much appreciated!
Glad it helped
Thanks for the detailed video. It is very helpful.
Thanks for sharing this bro
I have a 2020 with 47,000 on it, coolant is slowly leaking but can't see a leak, the system was pressure tested and it held the pressure....any ideas?
Thermostat not working properly? Or burning antifreeze. That’s about the best I can come up with. Good luck on your repairs!!
Maybe a small coolant leak dripping on the engine and evaporating?....I'll let you know how it turns out........thx@@ProductiveLiving20
Yeah but I would think it wouldn’t pass a pressure test if it was leaking somewhere. Maybe do a hot and cold pressure test?
Taking it to the dealer on Wednesday (hoping it's under warranty), a diesel mechanic I know glanced at it and says he is sure the heater core is bad.....I wouldn't let him touch it@@ProductiveLiving20
Dealer diagnosed it as a bad heater core@@ProductiveLiving20
Why was your check engine light on? Did you find out? Mines came on also
My check engine light stays on. It has something to do with the way the engine runs on mine. But last time I had it checked it had something to do with emissions.
✔️ gas cap also
@@ProductiveLiving20 ✔️ gas cap also
